I haven't yet learned how to crochet. I came across your channel quite by accident. I watched and thought how clear and precise your instructions were, and as soon as I have a moment I am going to start. I inherited all my mother-in-laws knitting and crocheting pins when she passed in 2016. She was fabulous at both knitting and crocheting. My knitting is coming on, now need to start crocheting! This is a traditional Sedge Stitch, which is one of my favorite stitches! You can use one color or multiple colors, and it always comes out beautiful.

I just love the way you crochet the way you hold the yarn it looks comfortable I’ve tried to do it your way but I keep reverting back to the way my mumma taught me with the yarn above the index finger as the guide not the forefinger
