  • Hey everyone! After a very long break I am back with a brand new episode, which is the one you are watching now, I apologize again for not uploading in so long, and I'm not going to make any excuses but I will say that, I will be uploading more often and there is never going to be another time where i go that long without uploading. So with that I'm sorry. But this episode is the last of the ones I filmed while I was in Oklahoma this past Summer. I have been sitting on this footage for awhile because It's obviously a lot if you look at how long this episode is, but I didn't want to not give it my all or not put my best effort in because I did do these locations in the past, and looking back on it I just really wanted to out do myself and out do that video. So with that, I bring you the ULTIMATE Then & Now of the 1983 cult classic "The Outsiders". I hit basically every single main location, including inside the actual house plus an exclusive interview I shot with Extra from the movie, Joe Cervantez. Also a ton of behind the scenes footage/bloopers. I really strived to make this the best Outsiders locations video on youtube, for my love for this movie and all of the people who love it as well, I hope you all enjoy!!

    (UPDATE)
Hey y’all so as some of you might know, going to these locations is not cheap, I actually work a part time job right now to support most of my trips. My goal has always been to make this show the best it can possibly be. Hotel stays, gas, food, and renting these locations all adds up, and especially with inflation this year, it’s been especially hard to get out and travel. I never want to ask anything from you guys, it’s already amazing knowing you watch and support my videos. That in itself literally means the world to me. But if you want to support me a step further and leave a donation, it’d be more than appreciated. I have been in the process of setting up a patreon and I finally have it all up to go. I have 3 different tiers for now and all will feature exclusive content for the kind donation you left. This is something I will post very often on, because if you guys are donating to me, I just simply want to make it worth the money, because again like I said before I want to connect with you guys and grow this channel with you all, and just make it the best it can be. So here are the tiers for now, they will be updated once my merchandise drops!
    ($1) Lil Ghost
    - Access to EXCLUSIVE video clips from my Investigations not publicly on RUclips
    - Access to exclusive posts and behind-the-scenes photos posted here
    ($2) Ghostly Legends
    - Full early access to upcoming episodes
    - Patron-only updates
    - Access to my live chat community
    - And all benefits from tier 1.
    ($20) Ghost God
    - EXCLUSIVE episodes not available on RUclips
    - Full Early Access To Upcoming Episodes
    - Patron Only Updates

I live near the Outsiders house. I think it is great what the owner has done with it. Since I grew up with the kids that inspired S E Hinton to write the book not only am I proud of her accomplishment, the movie remains one of my all time favorites as a Tulsa iconic film.

THe part where you show them talking about how they went method for this explains why the movie is a masterpiece. Everyone seemed to have put everything they could into this film.

Patrick Swayze did the flip over the fence not Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise did the back flip off the car. And the fountain was not there beforehand they built it for the movie.

Some of the info I have questions about. One for sure I know you got wrong. This is the second video I've seen that said this, I'm not sure....maybe that was your video as well? But my family owns the Admiral Twin Drive In and that is not the same hole in the fence where Dallas, Johnny Cade and Ponyboy snuck in. It's not even the same fence. It is in the same area, but the original place was about 100 or so feet away and that section of the fence was replaced in the 1990s. The hole in your video Is recent and was made by Homeless people, who during the summer months pitch tents in those trees. We look the other way, while they go through that hole and use our restrooms and electric plug inside to cook on their hot plate. The electricity is turned off during the off season.
Also, can I ask who told you about the Rumble scene location? My uncle was an extra in that scene (one of the Socs) and he said it was in the open area at the same park the fountain scene was filmed.
Another fun fact....right behind that Recall Drug Store in Sperry is where the scene was filmed where Dallas, Pony and Johnny chase those three kids in.

This video looks to have found the area where they snuck in.

I heardd theshop owner got sick of tourist showing up, asking 100 questions, taking photos, annoying locals and never buying anything. So he said "No more"
I don't blame him. If you stop in, BUY SOMETHING

I'm curious where the first scene in the video came from. I've never seen it before

I think it’s a deleted scene from maybe the DVD release or something. It didn’t make it to the Final Cut for the film. You can find the full thing on RUclips by searching the outsiders deleted scenes. Hope this helped! Also thank you for tuning in!

My intention was to get every location seen on screen, however due to my limited time of (1 week) in Oklahoma, I had to pick and choose what was more important to include in this video. However, I do hope you enjoyed!!

@@theghostfiles it was a very informative video and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In regards to the Buck Merrill home, this building was demolished in the 1990's and a Burger King now sits on the property.
