- Mother pigs are locked in tiny cages by the pig meat industry for weeks at a time. She can't nurture her babies, or even turn around. You didn't know, did you?

These animals should be treated with dignity.and respect.

When an animal gives birth, you should treat that animal in a special way because she is a mother, what difference does it make if she is controlled by her instincts, we have agency and freedom. These people are not animals because they are animals of compassion. 🇮🇷
This is outright cruel, i am no vegan but i find it difficult to deny the sheer amout of cruelty i just saw. Mechanised slaughter is effecient but this-this is ....i really got no words to describe it other than being cruel.

Your forgetting why farrowing crates were invented. A comfortable is sow more likely to lay on and crush there piglets. Hard to make money with dead piglets.

We can make kinder choices in our daily lives that don't contribute to this suffering. There are so many kinder alternatives available, and every meal, every purchase we make can contribute to the world we want to see. 💚
@@animalsaustraliaSomething else has to be done other than changing one's diet. The public at large needs to know about the cruel, unsanitary conditions these animals are kept in. Politicians are the problem. They can change laws about how animals are kept. They should at least be allowed to see the sun and have comfort while giving birth/taking care of poor babies. Just scary and shameful.
