Thanks for featuring Gildas Club in this video. It means a lot to them I am sure of it. Running a nonprofit is no easy task. I just started a ranch In Idaho Falls to help kids and their families through life's troubles. We started it originally to help kids and families who are thinking about suicide or suffering with depression. All of these things I too suffered from as a kid. I use to fly as an EMS pilot and found the suicides and depression cases are rising way too fast. So I gave up my full time job and began Brave Sky Ranch to reach out to kids and families to help them find a different path in life.
I'm I wrong or does it seem like this aircraft is more technically advanced that the commercial planes we fly in every day? Great video. Really impressive plane.
Maybe your best video ever because of how it ended it's amazing to see that $10 million jet take off like a rocket it was nice of them to share that experience with you but the fact that we talked about Gilda Radner at the end The fact that I'm a pediatrician and appreciate families supporting each other in times of cancer treatment the fact that you showed how much you care about other people allowing them to talk about this at the end of your video reminds you what kind of person you are thank you for sharing greg
Gold Aviation had a 30-minute show on a wealth entertainment channel. It was pretty cool. Had a few clients buying their first yet etc. interesting. My condolences to him about his mother, may he continue to have success.
Phenom-inal aircraft, and a even better cause. Had read a in depth article about Gilda's Club a couple yrs. ago, and this just highlighted them even more. Only hope that one day they can be in every community, as the work they do is so important, and so needed, but as they said towards the end of the interview, they can direct one to local places too.
Thanks Bobby and Laura for this exciting and informative video! Gotta love the Phenom 300 and that power take off. What a rush! Beautiful aircraft all around and the cockpit array is stunning. Was so happy to see the information about Gilda's House. They do great things!
Thanks for spreading the word for a very Nobel cause Gilda was a talented comedian who left us way to soon. That Phenom is phenomenal. Looking forward to your next video.
I'm glad that you featured Gilda's Club. I lost my mom to breast cancer (evil disease) and I know these kinds of non-profits are invaluable to the families and patient. The Phenom 300 is amazing on a lot of levels. I've been a passenger in a Lear 25 doing a max performance takeoff and I thought that was amazing... when he let the brakes off I was shocked (and laughing... that looked like FUN).
Bobby, sorry you aren't flying commercially any more. I know it must suck. However, I'm really glad that you produce sailing and flying doodles. You still get to fly in more aircraft than I ever will. Great productions, Thanks! Hi Laura!
That Phenom 300 is an amazing aircraft, if I ever make enough money and I would be in the market for a jet there is only 2 aircraft I would be interested in and those 2 are either Phenom 300 or the PC-24.
Bobby, I really enjoy watching your RUclips Channel. It is nice to see someone who made the transition from the cockpit to video production . All of your videos are extremely well done. I like the format of your channel as well. The variety of videos that you provide to your viewers is outstanding. Always look forward to watching your videos and listening to your commentary. Great job as always!
The 'Rams Horn' steering is a design that allows for greater pilot visibility of instrument space that could possibly be blocked by a standard yoke steering. I wouldn't be surprised if the RH steering was a requirement for the single pilot ops certification. Thanks to Leonard, your pilot (was it Cal?) and Gold Aviation who made their Phenom 300 available for this video. Also thanks for raising the awareness in what the Gilda's Club is all about too. Without watching this video, I would not have known.
I have a single pilot type on this aircraft. I was the 6th pilot typed on it. My type ride was performed in the test airplane. There were no simulators yet. My job was delivering them all over the world. I’ve flown this airplane from Sao Palou Brazil to Riyadh Saudia Arabia. I’m in the Airlines now but I miss this little bird. I flew the 100 version too. Delivered both all over the globe. The 300 is my lottery win airplane!
Videos like this should be shown to Grammar and High School students educating them at a young age until they are out of school. Showing them that "when" you work hard, dress and act appropriately, make good decisions and with some to a lot of luck, you may be successful. You "won't" be successful doing nothing, playing video games, complaining, protesting, smoking pot and drinking beer convinced that the world owes you a living, and if you tax the rich, that things will be "free."
You seem to not understand what a lot of social activism is about, we're not saying that everyone can be successful we're saying that everyone deserves a living wage and access to healthcare. Just like how water is a human right, "taxing the rich" is about closing loopholes since companies such as Amazon pay 0 dollars in taxes

Excellent job Bobby...Love the Video and how you helped support organizations that give support for families fighting with Cancer. Very well Done...."I LIKED IT"!!!!
I just watched one of these take off this morning out of Stuart, FL (KSUA). I pulled up FlightRadar24 N629JJ and he was at 2500FPM, basically a bullet straight up in the air. Glad you had this video up today, I was curious what this bad boy looked like inside.
Bobby your smile on your face with take off was super! What an amazing airplane! But even if you would have the money to get one , you can’t because I hear Laura asking “ can I take those animals on it “ 😂👍🐩🐩🍻
26:10 if each engine had eaten a bird and damage them requiring them to be immediately shutdown, would you have had enough speed and altitude to make the landing? The instruments read 800 feet, 155 mph.
that's something like less than 3 miles from the airport at 2.5 miles per minute. You'd be on the ground with engines on about 60 seconds. If you lost your engines that low you'd be able to slow down to roughly 100mph without falling out of the sky. You'd be on the ground in about the same time it would take to shut them down fully after reaction time and checklists get involved.
@@Skylane_Pilot Would you be shutting your engines down faster if they were out of balance and violently shaking as though they were going to rip the airplane apart?
Look up the best glide rate for the aircraft. You can easily calculate how much time and distance you can glide without the engines. My guess is that the sink rate on this airplane without engine has to be at least 1000 fpm. If the altitude was only 800ft probability of making a runway is low.
I'd say he missed the mark on what really makes the airplane single pilot certifiable. The Lear 35 and the Phenom 300 are very similar from a performance standpoint, and it meets just about every reason he listed. So why isn't it single pilot certified? While nothing he said was wrong, he left out the biggest reason. The primary reason why the Phenom 300 and all of its performance gained single pilot certification is due to the incredibly high amount of automation in the cockpit.
Dedicated camera to right side PFD and then allowing viewers enough time to take in the information made this video one of the best I have seen on the Phenom 300. Thank you! Patrick Albuquerque
Bobby, this must be so tough on you. You are in a relatively similar plane as you flew and now you are a passenger. I hope our government employees can see you are truly able to do this again and soon. You could fly for me any day.
If Laura had her own channel, she could have given us an airplane tour "Laura style." Fans of Laura can use their own imagination of what would be included. She could describe the details of the plane, for example, she could describe how much THRUST the engines have, how HOT the exhaust gasses are, how BIG the cabin is, how the plane has LONG range, how the plane has a LARGE COCKPIT, how TIGHT the seatbelts fit, how HARD the leading edges are etc.

This one on the other hand just felt like a sales pitch for a management company and a specific plane. Keep up the great work and thank you for taking us along on all of your adventures.
