Inferno doesn't work pre-bee because you need the Witch Doctor for Imbuing Station which is post-bee.

I think summoner is definitely the right play since it's a bit of a glass cannon class. since you can't get hit at all in the first place there isn't much of a reason not to play it IMO
same can be said for ranger but for a distant reason
all the classes are glass cannons to an extent, all of them work way better when you don't get hit.
There's no reason to NOT be using a summon here, seeing as they can clear out the weaker enemies you would usually die from.

And you can tank moon lord with enough regen and defense to stand still.

i mean, yeah, that's pretty reasonable. everything past mid-pre-hardmode is balanced around you having 400 hp, so you're on 25% hp mode. like getting cursed in ds1, but twice as bad. granted, he's on 0.25% hp mode, so...

I'm almost a year late but imagine how big brained it would've been to place closed doors along the entire tunnel to prevent random enemy spawns, especially considering the summons tend to operate outside/on top of said tunnel for WoF

I think putting walls in your WoF tunnel would have definitely helped against situations like the lava slime spawning or such

White gemspark block walls are almost full-white they are what i used for my no damage run. You can avoid a lot of things you wouldn't be able to normally see because of them

Vampire frog stuff is really good against wof if you have no platforms. Target the top eye and the frogs will try to jump to it damaging the boss the whole time

Hey Gungnir, due to the fact that i have found WoF several times, I've found that its best to just keep running, don't try to jump the lasers, they just lock you into a point where you will get hit if you try jumping them. From my experience with the wall of flesh (I spent 50 hours trying to perfect my fight with it, Joys of Eternity Mode) if you just keep moving the lasers cannot hit you

could you have used a inferno potion for queen bee so the bees would hjave been killed by the aura?

@Charles-xp2md How so? You only need to fish in lava, which you can do with just a hellstone bug net to catch hell critters for bait. That only requires a death/nightmare pickaxe.
@nimajneb8897 I was thinking of the imbuing station with the plague doctor NPC, which you get from killing Queen bee. The fishing idea probably works as well, even though I personally despise fishing in terraria.
@Charles-xp2md you probably referring to flask of Fire that can get after queen bee is defeated. while inferno potion is can be get by fishing in the underworld with lava critters that can be get pre-boss

Ever since the nerfs to both obsidian armor and whips in general, I've found bee armor to actually be the preferable option out of the two.
As it should be. Obsidian is Post EoW/BoC, but Bee is Post Queen Bee. I consistently find Queen Bee to be a harder fight, especially in higher difficulties.

Summoner is 100% the play, definitely has some of the highest dps with low defense, which you dont even need anyway
summoner is always GOATed I switched from playing melee because I wanted a challenge with the lower defense, and I've never looked back.

something you could do in future playthroughs where you're having trouble with Skeletron to reduce the time between attempts would be making a copy of your world right before you fight Skeletron , and whenever you die just logout of terraria, replace the world where you died with a copy from right before the fight, and repeat until you win. (admittedly this would only be faster if it takes your computer less then 4 minutes for terraria to start and load a world)

Man why don't you use the dangersense and hunter potion so you could see easily the enemies and random thorns?
I know this is 2 years old, but anyone who is worried about losing footage but doesn't want to record 24/7, its a good idea to set up a replay buffer. This will allow you to save whatever set amount of time you choose, for example mine is five minutes. You can also bind this to a key for convenience.

inferno potion would have stopped the bees.
I always play summoner, and those stationary turrets are what I get as soon as they’re available. They’re so useful, that any class could summon one for some chip damage during a fight. When you’re low on health and have to focus on healing/dodging, those turrets will keep putting in the damage to progress the fight.

I remember brainstorming this challenge for fun and thinking to build a solid, curved bridge for wall of flesh, build some poles every like 10 blocks to block the top lazers and spam it with beenades while sprinting away from it very fast. The bridge being curved was so the bottom/top eyes don't shoot into the tunnel. It was super exciting watching this, can't wait for hardmode stuff

Sentry summoners are really powerful base game. High defense and they do shot one of damage. My friends and I cheesed both moon lord and empress of light with them.

wall of flesh has always been my favorite boss
If you would have filled your tunnel with walls then there would not be any minion spawns inside it since they dont spawn infront of player placed walls.
Literally all the problems with 0 I-frames but with none of the perks.
I'd assume dodge chance is stupidly reliable here.
