I am 68 years old and saw Rory live in England in 1973. Blew my mind and made me a lifelong fan!

The G-Man at his prime, he is the best on that guitar. He lived for the music and played those blues until he collapsed on stage. He is so missed by millions of people, he will live in my heart forever. ❤️

I knew Gallagher and loved him for both his skill on the guitar as well as for his open personality. Rory was a gentle person, open to talk with anyone and everytime he played he did so because he felt he owed it to the people who came and watched him. I've talked many a times with him after this or that gig and he was always welcoming, a true human being not in pursuit of fame, but in pursuit of being the best musician in that moment for the people being there. Loved him to bits.

Rory was fab.. blues with a celtic/Irish twist, fantastic musician.
Absolute and utterly the GOAT, and a real gent, legend is an over used expression but Rory is the epitamy of one in capitol letters.

Rory was such a brilliant guitar player, I got to see him live quite a bit in the 70's and 80's, sadly died far too soon only 47, RIP Rory.
