The freeze test is nothing. I left my iPod 5 in the car for a week in the winter sitting at the airport. I was on vacay and the IPod was in there the whole time. It didn’t die or break:)
My iPod Touch has survived about 7 drops. Though it never landed on the screen, it was one tough music player when faced by the cement, tile, and wood. No cracks, no dents, only one tiny divot on the bottom.

Actually tbh I have a iPod 4th generation and it's a tank. I threw it against a tree and put it in a blender. There were only two dents not big at all. It is not very powerful when it comes to tech. But I don't think they make them anymore so you can correct me on that.

My iPod 4 has fell of the top bunk of my bed onto wood floor face down millions times and it didn't crack until my little brother knocked it off the kitchen worktop in 2014 then I got an iPad mini 2 and its gr8! The iPod 4 was good and I would get it fixed if it was up to date
