When the time comes I look forward to the Bones 97A X formula wheels review. Thanks for this super helpful review. I enjoy pushing around on the Powell Dragon wheels.
Seems like they’ve been spending a lot of tax money on fixing streets in NY? Just from what I’ve been seeing on IG. But they don’t like to spend tax money on peoples safety.
I got them when they came out and started riding them immediately. Before that I had been riding 87A OJ Keyframes and 95A OJ Nomads. I thought they were great around my crusty parts but found a smooth asphalt area I started skating and switched to 99A Bones STFs and then 99A Spitfire F4 Classics. Recently went back to the Dragons for a couple of sessions and I swear it feels like their slide is actually better than the harder wheels. Pops and landings feel a bit less crisp and almost like some of the energy on popping and landing gets absorbed into the ground and slows you down. Definitely will buy again. Don’t really need any other wheels but I do love me them Spitfires still.
When you started skating again how long did it take to find your balance and things again mate, Haven't been on a board since 02 and before that i had 7 great years skating the streets in Great Yarmouth Norfolk and being hounded by the local filth 😂
Late to the party a bit eh? Lol love my dragons as well. I have a cruiser that just got sidelined permanently since I can skate through most crust to get to my usual street spots.
The smile on your face says it all. They just feel good and skate great!!!!

i agree. usually ride 60mm 78a OJs for comfort but got the Dragon 93a 56mm and they feel great and a lot faster. Cheers.
I’m in the EastCoast of USA, it’s got and Humid in the summer, lots of rain. Roads are terrible, I think I might give these a go.
