Cool design ! - This would work much more smoother and be more quieter if you use giant tooth timing belts instead of those chains and if you use timing pulleys in place of these sprockets - Great workmanship and extraordinary idea ! 👍👍👍
A triangular track instead of rectangular would work better for the bike. This way the track would have more surface to the ground and might actually work or grass/dirt.

I could be like a niche race where people specialize in this type of bike. It'll become an entire lifestyle thar defines people's identity like Punk Rock.
Frankly, you should lay down the tracks on the ground, increase the contact area. Then you would have a tracked bicycle that could go over soft ground, sand, mud etc. That would not have been so entirely useless. Also you might consider changing the drive gear ratios.
Yeah, I didn't understand why he didn't try to do something like that, it would have took a bit more engineering and extra cogs belts etc but it would've been much more interesting and even a little practical unlike this contraption eh!,lol 🤣
@@arina9153 You're wrong though. You just bend the tracks slightly, that the ends have less pressure, and make the front track shorter, and it will turn just fine.

pretty creative. he probably has patent pendings that you wish you had. go boy! triangular tracks would increase the wear duration of the tread b/c of displaced weight. bravo brother!
and here I thought the block wheels were going to rotate and couldn't figure out how that would work. But I see, it's like mini tank tires at an angle. Certainly is unique, you got skills to make it happen
I mean, if you made the tracks triangular or trapezoidal (to allow for a large contact patch), had them float so they could angle +/- 30 degrees or so, and had drive to both front and back wheels, that would probably be the most capable all terrain peddle powered vehicle ever... But you'd need someone like the Flash to make it move with any speed, not to mention some crazy endurance.
I think the military will love this!! What a genius!!! They could put bike rack on the back of a tank have a couple of these in case the tank breaks down 😅 they'll be able to get nowhere fast😂
I was already laughing the moment the thing started moving, but the thumbs-up at the end finished me off. I think the funniest thing about this is the casual skill needed to just wake up and do this kind of thing for fun, but also how beautiful and professional the color and frame of it looks. ... and then it starts moving. 🤣
I feel like this project could use a revisit. I'm no engineer, but I'm thinking if you experiment with the gear ratios and put bearings in the wheels, maybe it would be a smoother and quicker ride. Also, maybe changing the angles/size of the wheels might help. Like I said, I'm no engineer, but I'm just throwing out ideas. I really enjoy your videos, by the way. 💡
I mean, yes, it could be done, but this was just to do something odd not good. Nothing he does with this concept could ever be better than the infinitely simple circular wheel.
I kept thinking: "Wait. Is this going to be mind blowing and revolutionary?" Then I felt relief as I realized that no, it's just for fun. Haha! Dude is rad though.
That's awesome. On version 2.0 I think it would be awesome to design them with an A frame track or to add length to the forks and rear frame to position the tracks flat. Increase surface contact and get more distance per crank
Yes, this is what I was thinking, too. It would need to be motorized. Otherwise, it's going to be hell getting it moving. The more surface area on the ground, the more friction to overcome.
THIS design for a rolling suitcase that can be used to get up/down flights of stairs and bumpy ground/terrain (loose stone pathways) would be PHENOMENAL! Flight attendant for 3 decades and this is similar to what I have envisioned for the next generation of travel bags. Would be great for duffle bags, even! EDIT: Without the chain, of course!
Not a great idea. It's a nice thinking project but not at all practical. It's only useful on smooth, hard surfaces. If that front track hits a root, big crack in the pavement, or a rock, you're going over the handlebars. No brakes. It's not a coaster. It peddled backward. Not being a coaster, the pedals turn as long as they're moving. Only one gear. He's peddling furiously to get any speed. But, more speed is proportional to how far you will be pitched off when that front track gets stopped by an obstruction.
@@XelaShade no, a stationary bike. Not treadmill. This bike shows more resistance than a regular.... I know bikes have the settings for resistance. But this nice. Idk of the impact of the body. Hope that explains it better. Apologies for confusion.
To be honest, it's the demonstration of skills and mindset to execute the plan no matter what it takes , no matter how many fails it takes to get there, no matter what the math says about distance over time. He needs to get it patented regardless of what anyone has to comment because the application could be used on small farms or surfaces that are weight distribution sensitive, physical therapy equipment. Don't let nobody talk you out of the many purposes it potentially could serve. Not everyone in the comments are engineers, not everyone gets blueprinting and the ability to execute that.
@@uguana11 I can't speak for physical therapists, my experience after being injured trying physical therapy the equipment challenged my muscles and body it was not an easy walk in the park. This looks like it would be challenging in a good way to help recover and strengthen muscles.

For those days when you're not in a hurry.
Yup. Slightly faster than a stationary bike with twice the effort!! win win.
😅😅😅😅
And you want everyone to hear you coming.
Reinventing the wheel is always good.
More effort, that beautiful sound which is so silent, the weird gear and the fact that you can't just stop staring at it.
Best thing I've seen in 2023!!!
Wow! I’m impressed, this thing is wheelless, ANDD…it even has the rusty can sound effect !!
Combining the small traction area of a wheel with the noise and grind of a track is brilliant, if you're going for worst of both worlds.
Roffl
That’s what I thought too!! Like the Honda Fat Cat…. all the bad things of a dirt bike combined with all the horrible things of ATV balloon tires or the Honda trike with balloon tires that every teenager barrel rolled.

Nevertheless, it's cool that it operates even if it's slow and loud. There's something very comendable about seeing an idea through to completion, especially if it's absurd. Well done.
Big agree
Exactly!
Trash
Very well put.
When will it debut to market?
The noise of the thing would drive u mental while moving very very slowly😂. Bless his little heart😂
Well I think compared to this, simply walking is way more efficient.
This is useless, over-engineered but you somehow got it to work.
I love it 😄
Super quiet, too! 😂😂😂😂
"Got it to work" as long as it's cycled on perfectly smooth asphalt, in a straight line, while encountering no pebbles or debris. It's the whole "spherical chickens in a vacuum" thing, with extra steps.
You bet it worked!
14 million views - this build&vid produced incomes in the hundreds of thousands.
Not bad for a horribly stupid idea done with exacting metalworker skills.
Yeah, I would find it impossible not to laugh out loud as I walk past him!😂
too impressed with your timeless creativity. This video will reach 100 million views
"timeless creativity" but not ingenuity

Right!,..the goal wasn't to build a wheeless bike, but to get a sh!t ton of views once it is built!,..so diabolical 😈👏,..I can respect that👌.
Why did I expect them to turn like a wheel tho 😭💀
Same here 😅
That would result in a goofy ahh ride.
I was expecting then to lay flat
same
Yes, so did I
Cool design ! - This would work much more smoother and be more quieter if you use giant tooth timing belts instead of those chains and if you use timing pulleys in place of these sprockets - Great workmanship and extraordinary idea ! 👍👍👍
Amazing design. I can see it evolving and the oval will become round. What a great invention that would be !
A triangular track instead of rectangular would work better for the bike. This way the track would have more surface to the ground and might actually work or grass/dirt.
I give this man respect for going out of his way to create something that is pretty interesting 🤔 but I would most definitely not be able to deal with that sound I will take my wheels any day 😁
Yeap, me too 😅
Need a little more tweaking to be loud the tire needs more thread great idea
Same here 🙂... The noise kinda reminded me of a hand crank spinning noise maker 😂
@@JOKERSLADY713 right 👍 that's the first thing that popped into my head 😂
Valla porqueria de bicicleta
Hahaha the crazy loud rattling as he drove of the first time had me in tears
Give him credit, brilliant how he put it all together. But I now understand why the wheel was invented 😅
Actually, without "wheels" this wouldn't even work, as the internal "wheels" or wheels iwth spikes on them called gears that grab the chain are still round! My vote this is dumb point O!
Absolute genius! Create a video so bizarre that curiosity literally forces people to watch and post comments…brilliant, over 14 million views!
Way to go my good man, I bow to your brilliance and entrepreneurial spirit!
Great to see all the workmanship.
Now back to using WHEELS... which definitely work 100 times better than the tank style tracks shown here.
Ooh” boy great job on the crackling sound, I would buy one to wake up my whole neighborhood dogs while I ride down the street
I commend you for your engineering skills and that you put major thought into this. I guess in the end you came to the conclusion that circular wheels are the way to go

I could be like a niche race where people specialize in this type of bike. It'll become an entire lifestyle thar defines people's identity like Punk Rock.
One things for sure, your leg muscles will get big
As a first prototype, this is really well made! Can't wait to see the next version.
Yeah, it would be cool if he made the track things round. Then it would look like a regular bike!
@@craigcampbell2418 🗣️
Hilarious. I love it. What did you film this with? The shots looks great!
It's so funny though
Ooooh yeah, it would be cool on rougher terrain for sure if the tracks were completely flat. Fun!
Come on people. Why is everyone trolling him. Not thet he is launching it in market. He just made is for fun and at least he is doing what he wants instead of lying on couch and trolling others on internet.

Gotta love the dedication and the ideas. I fully appreciate this. 😁👍

pretty creative. he probably has patent pendings that you wish you had. go boy! triangular tracks would increase the wear duration of the tread b/c of displaced weight. bravo brother!

That's a good one
LOL
and here I thought the block wheels were going to rotate and couldn't figure out how that would work. But I see, it's like mini tank tires at an angle. Certainly is unique, you got skills to make it happen
that's what i thought too lol, he basically made a bike-tank hybrid
The build for this must've taken ages... Bravo, bravo
this man can have the most crappy idea ever and will put the thought and effort to make it happen, and I respect him for it
Agreed, a stupid idea remains a stupid idea.
Or maybe even circular. I know, that's probably too radical of an idea. 😂
I think the military will love this!! What a genius!!! They could put bike rack on the back of a tank have a couple of these in case the tank breaks down 😅 they'll be able to get nowhere fast😂
@@jefsky59 no more insane than the Osprey was I guess lol.
I just like how crafty he is. Whether or not his invention works is inconsequential in the long run. He will eventually build something worthwhile.
Yeaa so crafty
It would make more sense less noisy
Great Work man😊🎉
I was already laughing the moment the thing started moving, but the thumbs-up at the end finished me off.
THIS
I mean, yes, it could be done, but this was just to do something odd not good. Nothing he does with this concept could ever be better than the infinitely simple circular wheel.
Yep...you're no engineer...
This issue is that unlike a normal bike, there is little to no gyroscopic force to increase stability.
yes - may be have circular devices front and back - could call them "wheels"
I kept thinking: "Wait. Is this going to be mind blowing and revolutionary?" Then I felt relief as I realized that no, it's just for fun. Haha! Dude is rad though.
riding backwards was cool , all that noise , this would be a great cardio workout
And a 150mm canon
Certainly got the conversation started, eh?
Ya know, or he could just put wheels on the thing 😅
Try removing the pedals and adding a horse (probably at the front of the bike), that's the future
They've already been made, lol. With a much better and sensible design.
Excellent vision! Patent it and retire!
@@BradfordLiotta already been done. Much better actually and you could have bought one a few years ago

Alright. See you in seven years.
This video just came today so what the fuck do you mean 7 years?
To be honest, it's the demonstration of skills and mindset to execute the plan no matter what it takes , no matter how many fails it takes to get there, no matter what the math says about distance over time. He needs to get it patented regardless of what anyone has to comment because the application could be used on small farms or surfaces that are weight distribution sensitive, physical therapy equipment. Don't let nobody talk you out of the many purposes it potentially could serve. Not everyone in the comments are engineers, not everyone gets blueprinting and the ability to execute that.
Totally agree
Are you saying we physical therapists would enjoy taking something and make it way harder, and enjoy the process along the way?! 😂
@@uguana11 I can't speak for physical therapists, my experience after being injured trying physical therapy the equipment challenged my muscles and body it was not an easy walk in the park. This looks like it would be challenging in a good way to help recover and strengthen muscles.
I can do all those things yet I still agree it was a useless invention, he's basically making sth that already exists so no need to patent as it most likely wont even be able to be patented
Its an art project if anything
