Oh dang, i didnt know this was possible, but now we can play these cool arcade games in the comfort of our own home Thx for reviving this piece of nintendo history
Last time I was in Japan (2019), I went to this neighborhood in Tokyo where they had an arcade full of retro arcade games from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s, and I did see an F-Zero AX machine there. Unfortunately, Japan has just closed their borders to every foreigner for the same reason as around the time this video was uploaded due to recent events in the UK. I wish I could go back to Japan ASAP. (And yes, my mom's friend has a sister over there.)
I got to try this!! I have been planning on getting an actual Sega Triforce as I like to collect arcade hardware, however, if I can try the games using emulation or home consoles to get a feel on how the games are, then I’ll bite the bullet and hunt down the real hardware! Great video and like I said, I’ll definitely give this a try on my modded Wii! :)
Technically, you don’t need a usb loader to play these games. I’m not saying you shouldn’t use them, just that when it comes to loading these games it’s not necessary(I myself use Wiiflow as my UI of choice when it comes to selecting which Wii or GC game I want to play from my external HDD) Installing Nintendont is good enough to play any Triforce or GC game.
I'm playing through nintendont. I noticed that when saving the game for GP1 at the end of a session, the game just locks up on the saving card screen. The file still saves though. Does this happen to you?
@@CharlesDaBeast it’s never frozen up on me. Not sure if you have a corrupt image of the game or a corrupt save. I myself have Nintendont set up to save games on separate virtual memory cards. This way there’s never a worry that you saved a Japanese game and a NA game on the same memory card to cause corruption. Bedsides, they literally take up such little space it’d be silly to save more than one game’s save on a card. Try installing a different image of GP1 and delete the memory card that holds your GP1 game and see if that fixes it. I’d also delete any unneeded or redundant channels from the Wii’s internal memory. If you have any Wii shop games on your system, move those to a memory card. You want to keep as much of the Wii’s 512mb internal memory free. For anyone looking to apply more advanced mods, I highly recommend making a virtual nand. This would definitely improve performance and leave plenty of room for all kinds of mods and games.
Hi Anton, I`m playing a Gamecube game, from USB loader GX, but how do i exit the game back to my game list? The home button dont work. I have a gamecube controller in my wii u.
This is actually great, though I do have one question. Do you need a GCN controller to play? I only have a classic controller pro and I don’t really want to waste money unnecessarily on a controller I’m not used to.
So, I got the Triforce games to show up in USB Loader GX, and it worked. Then, I followed the tutorial to install Wii games, and had it pull up the cover art automatically. However, my phone's hotspot was so very slow and I have no other way to connect the Wii to a Wi-Fi network (which is a whole different story), and so I canceled it. The cover art then showed for the Triforce games, but my Wii games disappeared. I have no idea what I did after that, but right after, the Wii games are now listed, but the Triforce games are missing. I have no idea why they no longer show up in USB Loader GX. I can still list them in Nintendont, and I have reinstalled them onto my USB drive, and they're named correctly. Anyone know why they no longer show in USB Loader GX?
I don't know why, but i did everything right, but in usb loader gx it doesn't pop up with the games, and i didn't get the box art. Can someone help me pls?
Thanks for video. I have a Wii U, and I did not manage to install it, I do not think that it is the right file for the Wii U. Do you have an idea? Thank you

I think its possible but you have to mess a bit with the settings. I saw someone set the videomode to NTSC and set video to force. don't know if it work but for him it did
Okay, now this, is epic
Thanks for watching!
Oh hit Tetra!
Nice to see you here!

Nice, will make a fine addition to my adventure to make my wii infinitely powerful.
Same, hopefully I can find more ways to maximize its potential.
@@antonretro Do you have the Virtua Striker 4 ISO?
That’s really cool man! I remember that Mario Kart one from the arcades, so I’m glad there’s a way to play it at home!
My local arcade still has the arcade gp 1 twin arcade machine
Thanks a bunch! Now I’m finally able to play what I’d easily consider to be the best Mario Kart game!

do you think I can convert the file to WUP to install it directly to the wii u menu (as GC games using WUP forwarder loads through nintendont)

I can use a real Memory Card for F-Zero AX?
This is actually great, though I do have one question. Do you need a GCN controller to play? I only have a classic controller pro and I don’t really want to waste money unnecessarily on a controller I’m not used to.
You can change the controller configuration in the USB Loader GX menu. That should allow you to use the Wii classic controller.
You can use the classic controller with Triforce games. I tested it
No Killer Instinct? That ran on Triforce Arcade as well didn't it?
Thank's for the files :D
The folders have nothing inside them
Is it me or is it hard to drift in Mario Kart???

Had to completely reinstall USB Loader GX to resolve this, first deleting all of the files it created except the images folder in the SD card.
Does the game, MK GP, work 100%?
Nice I was thinking about buying a Wii recently to hack it so thanks good video
Just for clarification it’s Fzero ax not gx, gx was the one on GameCube
is it possible to put it on swiss on GameCube ?

What happens when you play USA games on a pal Wii?
As long as it’s a working rom it will work.
That won't work unless the Wii is softmodded to play NTSC games. Once it's softmodded, it should work fine.
What about Dolphin?
How do we play Sega games on it though
