The GameCube itself is a hidden gem 😂. My favorite childhood system. Nintendo cut the price to 99$ in 2003 and somehow people didn’t buy it. Imagine the switch being 99$ right now.

@@ghostlegit I call BS, The GameCube had a lot of good games. There's the Zelda titles, Paper Mario TTYD, even Super Mario Sunshine was a lot of fun. It also had the 60FPS version of Tales of Symphonia.
My favorite hidden gem on the GameCube is Frogger's Adventure: The Rescue. It's a fun twist on the Frogger franchise and a goofy story to follow along with
I remember playing a Frogger game on the Gameboy Advance. Super underrated game, but it unfortunately hasn’t aged well in 2022 compare to other great classics
Geist is easily my favorite hidden gem. I'm the same age as you but maybe I was living in a bubble. At the time I remember thinking Geist graphics were fantastic but that could have been because of how few first person shooters we got on the Gamecube compared to other platforms. I loved it. I don't remember much about it besides the premise and taking control of some things and some of the guns but I remember it being fun. If they remastered it I'd check it out but I have a feeling it didn't hold up as well as my mind thinks it did.

The CARBY digital audio/video adapter for the GameCube is a badass addition to make these games pop a little more on the flatscreen. It's like 80 bucks. I won't even play the GC on my CRT any longer. Definitely need more GC games in my collection, great video!
Battalion Wars is my all time favorite game. I remember seeing the commercial the day it came out when I was 8. I grew up watching my dad play command and conquer on the N64 and I knew he would love Battalion Wars so I ran to the living room to ask my mom to take me to gamestop so I could buy and play it with my dad when he got home from work that night. Such good memories playing it with my dad.
Battalion Wars is one that I still am wishing would come to Switch. I had 1, 2, and 3, and loved them all for the most part, such a cool style of game. Would happily pay $60 for a new one, or even just a remake of the 3 packaged up into one. It’s up there with Golden Sun of series that I wish would come to Switch. Either to buy or as part of the online service
I love you for this!! I just got my GameCube up and running and my Wii modded about 2 weeks ago and been looking for a lot of games to try out on it. So you just gave me a couple others I've never played before that I will be playing here in a few hours thank you!!
This video is excellent, great work RGT, many of those games i didn't knew existed. I pre-ordered my Gamecube with Star Wars Rogue Squadrom and Super Smash Bros Melee. I still remember being blown away by both games, many good memories. This system is very beloved to me, and of course its better than the N64 !
My favorite gamecube game was a game called Gladius. I don't really know if it was successful or as it were a hidden gem. Fact is I never hear anyone talk about it on gamecube game lists 🤔
I loved X Men Next Dimension. I played the ever living heck out of it. Also, I enjoyed Mega Man Battle Network: Network Transmission. I even agree with Viewtiful Joe, it was 2D done right at the time and original.
My first ever GameCube game was included in a bundle with the GameCube for Christmas some 18-19 years ago. Harry Potter Quddich World Cup You’ll almost never hear people say that’s how they started their gaming career. Keep in mind that due to my passion with sports and later using it as a career in sports journalism and sports broadcasting, I’ve become more of an hardcore casual gamer. I don't hear many people talk about Lost Kingdoms 1 & 2. They are my favorite hidden gems on the GC. My favorite hidden gem on the GameCube (that most people overlook and/or don't talk about) is P.N.03 I liked it for it's unique 3rd person combat and defense dodging mechanic. Plus the main character was a pretty cool female bad@$$ (like Lara Croft or Bayonetta). ✌️
O00h, I love that game bought it on a whim, GameStop was blowing out a bunch of Gamecube games at $5, the Wii had just released. Still love that game !!!
This game was mindlessly repetitive, but goddamm was Vanessa cool. I really loved the ending credits aegis suit shifting colors and I spent hours unlocking the blackbird or whatever the flawless clear suit was.
Loved the GamCube! Played RE4 religiously on that console. Luigis's Mansion. Just lots of classics on that system. Eternal Darkness. Viewtiful Joe was awesome! Sigh... so good. And I know most of those I named were hidden gems but just saying how much I loved the system.
favourite one I don't hear many people talk about is Gotcha Force, the difficulty curve isn't great and there aren't a lot of arenas on offer BUT they nail each robot playing differently and its insanely fun messing on making a team for some of the battles, really wish Capcom would remake it or make a sequel or anything really
