Flat spots on circles are often caused by backlash in the system. Check your belt tension and see how much play you have on that axis.

I ended up building an enclosure for my x-carve. Maybe one of these days I will do a video on it.
try using silicone construction adhesive and use a strip of cloth on the outside edge. enjoy your channel:>)
