    Great little project! i'm starting to use MDF more in my carving project. Seems to work really well as long as you seal it and a newer bit does help. As always, thanks again.

      MDF has glue in it which can be harder on blades and cutters.

    I’m new to CNC and learning. Did you do a rough cut first then a detail pass? Also what was your bit choose on this project.

    • @encarwoodworking
      @encarwoodworking  3 месяца назад +1

      So for this piece I did not do a rough pass. I used a 60 degree vbit for the entire piece then a 1/4 downcut end mill for the profile pass. Welcome to the world of CNC and the rabbit hole!

      Just in case you ever want to do it because you deleted your files of your thumb drive, you might want to know that you really didn't and they can be retrieved. You can think of it as putting your foot in the mud. Your foot may not be there anymore but your foot print still is. It easy to google the code...or it used to be anyway.
