Awesome looking job.. Maybe a suggestion for next time, make a contour path to cut the piece out at the end, make some big tabs to hold the piece in place.. A lot less to clean afterwards.. And you will have the sides to align when you make the back keyholes. :) Good job..
@@MyCraft_01 Definitely tab the outer contour, that was rough to watch you fight cutting that out when you have that nice CNC machine. Could have keyholed the back first as well. But this is stuff you learn as you get to use that awesome machine. Tape and CA would of been an option here as well I dont think you were to worried about any kind of thickness tolerance. Teach and learn keep up the good work.
I love my ONEFINITY. You also know you could do your final pass with the machine. Just do an outer trace for the vectors and give it an offset of about 0.05 and cut it out with a 1/4" endmill. Much cleaner and easier. Try it on your next project. Other than that, the piece is very nice.
Thank you. And Yeah I was going to do that actually but decided to leave the edges on so It lay’s flat when cutting the keyholes in the back out. I should have explained it but I didn’t really think about it when editing the video.
@@MyCraft_01 i make same my DIY cnc machine, lot hour go cutting first rouch and then small bit fine cutting, i rouchin first 2 different bit, first i use 1/4" bit and then i used 1/8 bit and last fine cut has 0,3mm V bit. i not remember how fast has feed. but i think has too slowly , go 4 hour rouching and then 6 hour fine mill. picture size has 24 x 32 inch.
I got the CNC without any accessories for about $4500.00, built my own table, and then I bought the spindle for another $900.00 roughly. So it was around $5400 for my setup. I saved for quite sometime for this thing, but it was definitely worth it!
Yeah I could get a boot for the CNC but I spent the last of my money just to get this thing lol. I even built my own table for it to save on the purchase.
Thank you, the software I use is Carveco. Super easy and user friendly, but you have to buy a yearly subscription. But my CNC came with one year for free
well done, looks great
Thank you!
Looks good.
Thank you
Great idea!!
Thank you!
Wow that came out stunning. Great job!
Thank you very much!

Nice work! Do you create your own 3D reliefs or do you download them?
Thank you. I downloaded this one, but I have some upcoming videos of relief’s I’ll be making.
Can you drop the link to those rotating dowel clamp things that held your workpiece in place?
Sure thing

Amazing carving, but be careful on the bandsaw!
This is awesome , im also doing a few larger carvings from beautifull white bluegum up to 2500mm long scenes of African wildlife
Thanks. And wow that sounds awesome. I love this kinda work!
Outstanding work! Curious what products you used on the refinishing end?

Thanks, I believe the stain was a Varathane stain I got from Home Depot, and the finish was Watco Laquer
This looks great man! What was your time to cut?
Thank you. I think in the end it came out to around 10 hours
@@MyCraft_01that’s a really good carve time

what was the price of the CNC?

Looks great! Did you make that file?
Thank you, and no I bought this one from a shop on Etsy.
Couldn't you attach a vacuum tube to keep it clean while its cutting?
Yeah I could get a boot for the CNC but I spent the last of my money just to get this thing lol. I even built my own table for it to save on the purchase.
@MyLifecraft cool.nlol I'm still looking for space to set one up. Lol.
looks good! What a CAM Software you use
