If there was a canon “Celeste maker” of sorts I would be very happy. My main indicator would be that there would be lots of dream and dash blocks with Puffsleys and Gells! (The Puffsleys is a nickname for the puffer fish in farewell, and the Gells are the umbrella jelly fish!)
It actually wasn't too bad thankfully! The piano follows nearly the same chord progression all the way through the song w/ minor variations so once I had it once I just had to listen to the specific part to make sure Lena didn't make any changes to it (Example: between 0m and 500m the piano chords are the exact same root note, but 500m uses perfect intervals more than 0m) I can't say that I nailed the progressions as I don't have perfect pitch, and the fact that the piano is very subtle in some sections certainly didn't help.
Awesome! I especially love the bass on 500 M and the visuals of the whole video. Edit: I just had a thought: This could be the Pico-8 version's Reach for the Summit!!
This is awesome! I would've loved if you'd maintained the fourths in the lead voice during 2500M though - they add that airiness that gives that part its character
Yeah, the choice to use a LFO to automate the volume on the lead during that part probably wasn't the best :P While I feel I could probably still use one to give it a little more dynamic motion it shouldn't get as quiet as it does
I love Lena's work and I have to say you did an awesome job with this! Great remix and vey nice work on visual effects too. :) Looking forward to your next vids, and bravo =)
Found you channel because I searched for celeste 8 bit because I was thinking of imagine if we had games like this on a gameboy and I think o have found my second favorite music (sorry for not first but I like sharax and have been listing to him for about a year now)
Why thank you! The funny thing is, one of my close friends has been telling me to do exactly this ever since I made these remixes, and the reason I haven't yet is simply because of how much of a pain it is to get something on Spotify if you're not a record label (not to say it isn't impossible). I probably will when I get the motivation to go through the month and a half long process again XD
Very pretty. Not sure it's accurate to any of the common 8-bit hardware, but hey - who cares about technical limits when making music? Cool shit, bro. Sounds great. :)
someone share this to Lena Raine!
Wow... usually i would criticise the choice of instruments, but then... that echo... whoah.
I’m not hearing much echo, but I do hear some reverb.

@@calmcat5377 I wish I could do that but *console*
As someone who's also attempted something like this, can I ask you how much *pain* trying to transcribe the background piano was?

You made a great job fam. Keep it up. You can become successful if you don't give up. I liked very much this work of yours
Thanks a ton! I end up pouring most of my free time into these things so it's good at least some people are getting enjoyment out of them :P
Then keep going! You have the potential

@COOLkid123 goodForLife_103 Yea, I like the buildup but it's not really the finale, there's still chapter 8 and 9
Ninja, you should seriously buy a license for these and put the 8-bit versions up on Spotify and iTunes. They are EXCELLENT!!!!
Why thank you!

there's like 2 notes that are off-key in the beginning but awesome remix nonetheless :)
I get that this is 8-bit but I think some of the chords could've been better
IS NOONE GONNA PUT TIMESTAMPS!?!?!?!?!?!?
A few chord/bass errors, mostly in the earlier sections, but I'm a very picky listener...
The music is STELLAR, but the visual ISN'T 8-bit! NOooooo
I can do pixel art, I'm just REALLY bad at it :P
@@NinjaKittens Eh, no worries. But maybe you could have pixelised your images? Idk
I've tried doing that while making a couple of videos in the past to horrifying results XD
