The Stanley Parable is not only a comedy game, but also a fourth wall breaking game. I mean, the game itself revolves around the nature of choices in video games and real life. I know some people don’t like it for being “boring” but I feel like it’s more of a message than a game.

@@adoor2806 you know I was trying to think of a flaw to contest you even though I love the game, and no matter how hard I think about it… same. Every flaw I could possibly think of is not a flaw because the game is a simulation of space which means things are naturally going to be unfair or random sometimes. Any puzzle that can feel bullshit is actually just because you’re thinking about the puzzle the wrong way. Every unintentional solution to puzzles is left in because you’re supposed to experience the game how you want to. It’s truly a flawless game.
I personally never could get into Outer Wilds, and I don't really know why. I had around 3 hours on it, got to the guy on the mars-like planet, and then got completely lost. Maybe it has something to do with the exploration? The 2D landscape of RainWorld is much simpler to traverse, and I never felt stuck in a single area for too long. I'm very into biology, and it's ecosystems entranced me. Or I could just be a simple-headed combat enjoyer who felt satisfied after killing a single enemy which has terrorized me for thousands of cycles. Either way, the games are very different at their core, and I'm probably just someone who enjoys Rainworld because of its genre.

Inscryption is the best overall game out of the 4 options, but not the best "card game". The card game mechanics of Inscryption are excellent, but would argue that Slay the Spire is even better in that regard, and, while I haven't played Balatro yet, I find it plausible that it has better card play than Inscryption too, given the discourse surrounding it.
Inscription act 2 and 3 were a big put off for me and just because of that it most definitely isn't the best card game imo. I absolutely depised the way witch and energy cards were implemented but overall the story wasn't so bad. And because of act 1 ill love this game and overlook its flaws just for the sake of it.

I’m a “indi gamer” as in a mainly play indi games and some of my favs are hollow knight, slime rancher, neon white, stardew valley, balatro, unpacking, etc. I have so many interests, sometimes I overwhelm myself!

@@xperiorTR make sure not to look at any spoilers, that will ruin the game, the entire game is about exploration, so go into it blind, and when i say blind dont even watch a single video about it, just trust me. if you don't like the game, that's ok it's not for everyone, but at least give it a shot, because it is really fucking good

0:39 Foekoe I'm not sure if you know about this game but it's called Voidigo, I personally consider it to be one of the best roguelikes ever game and you should play it. It doesn't have a lot of content but it's well polished for what it does have
