this cover made me actually cry. the original is calm. quiet. the more relaxed beginning of the chapter, only getting twisted into its scarier, more meaningful form later. here it is not quiet. its loud. its tragic. its a scream of agony. its an expression of the frustration with this constant struggle of life. even as amazing of a soundtrack as celeste's is extremely lucky to have someone as talented as you making for it.

I'm thinking it's something more along the lines of dying before your dash resets, but I haven't a clue. I had the most trouble with the coffee jump, of of everything.
I find instrumental metal can somtimes ruin a song by failing to capture the spirit of the original - opting instead to focus purely on simply translating/adding new parts that sound heavy rather feel appropriate. Not so here - your composition and arranging choices are stellar - you dont overplay any of the lines, you really focus in on maintaining the haunting harmony throughout, and you have nailed the movements between quiet textures and heavier, more metal-standard textures. Good fucking show, this is super impressive.
I was simply looking up "Quiet and Falling" and then "Quiet and Falling metal" was suggested. I was thinking that there'd be no way that somebody did a metal cover of this song. Well, I was proven wrong. And this cover is super amazing! Has a very post rock feel to the entire song, which sounds amazing.

I discovered the original last week. One of my new all-time favourite VG songs. Lena absolutely killed it. And so did you! The way you respect the original by red-threading the ambience, the mood and the soundscape (those plucks past the main part are absolutely phenomenal), while giving it your own twist with the solos and the vocal layer, is nothing short of a 10/10

Great cover!!!! Super atmospheric and I loved the bit with your voice. Classic Post-Rock payoff, and it was so good AND THAT SECOND BUILDUP NEAR THE END OH MY T_T kinda reminded me of the contortionist towards the beginning. I loved your use of the open string on the solo too, i love those pull offs xD This will definitely be something I'll be coming back to.
I'm not usually one to enjoy metal, but nice going, you actually brought such intensity to a song that is super calm usually, and it works beautifully.
Excellent! I love how you captured all the little echoey bits. A little too much on the drums and extra guitar, imo, but other than that, great! I especially love the background vocal bit you added in- seeing it on camera for its introduction was awesome.

The coffee jump is the hardest jump imo. The iceless jump (last hard jump) isn't that difficult as long as you've mastered neutral-wall jumping
