this is beautiful. the raw, desperate emotion i get from this whole thing, man. it speeidng up and getting louder at the climax, and THE SHATTERING, MAN! GOD!!!
I'm struggling with anxiety-related stuff myself. I'm forcing myself to sit down and compose at least something just so I can at least activate my brain a little. This is some beautiful inspiration right here, especially with the leitmotifs. The way you make story-based structures in your music is absolutely awesome, and it's inspired me to use it in the stuff I make as well. Thanks for this
Cory is definitely an amazing musician, the depth and masterful structuring he's able to achieve put his compositions in a class of their own entirely. The way he's able to make his music grow and expand is incredibly organic in the most literal sense, the songs actually feel like they're coming to life as they take shape and the intensity begins to build. His attention to detail is beyond belief sometimes, the little things make a huge difference in the end result. He's an epic songwriter with a completely unique style, nothing else I've ever heard sounds quite like it.
This song gave me the chills. Also, I’m pretty sure that the sound of glass shattering was representative of when Theo’s prison was shattered. Regardless of whether I am correct, the shattering in the beginning followed by the shattering in the end was a very nice touch.
I realize now that the shattering is in fact the sound of a mirror breaking, which is representative of the presence of Badeline and Madeline’s troubles. This makes it even better, and I also realized that the general theme of the talking is about accepting things that have happened instead of trying to erase them.
Oh shit, even more Celeste stuff from one of my favorite cover artists I've ever heard. I can't wait to listen to this one too. I know it will be incredible. I'm sorry things are still rough. I know how it goes... You aren't alone. You got this man
I haven't uploaded them to RUclips yet because I'm super good at procrastinating. But there are a few more here: www.dwellingofduels.net/games/celeste/
That upward vamp that kicked at 9:15 really got me grooving, so cool how the continuing melody of the bells goes from something chilling to something invigorating when the context changes.
I’m a bit dyslexic and not entirely native. But I’ll put in what I heard form the conversation, correct me if I’m wrong. Left: Can you get the job done Mike? Right: it’s worth pretty smalls* Left: I didn’t ask you to take response… I asked you if you can get the job done. Right: Think so… Left: well you have to do better do better then “I think so” is that clear? Right: it’s clear Left: now I’m gonna assume, that by now you learned that the worlds not fair, Something you get to show work and that’s all you get*… and if you don’t do something personally, to fix it, then that’s all your ever gonna get. Left: yes sir (Lighting cigarette?) Left:Mike? (Indistinct distant conversation?) Left:Do you want to play carols galls, go to get out of this town?* Right: think so… Left: well aren’t you doing something *does it*? Right: my moms not up right now (Cigarette sounds) Left: one of these days you gonna have to get out of this house, your gonna have to leave her. Right: yes(shakily) Left: you gotta accept the fact that if you want to take care of them, that includes you, do you understand that? Right: yes sir (shakily) Left: the truth is, ageist some pretty overwhelming odds. If… if you do decide to accept that, look at my eyes. If you decide accept that… your seriously flawed son…

I close my eyes, and I feel it. I feel it all.
By definition what we "feel" is all. Are you sure it is ?

I'm glad its helping! Good luck navigating your struggles and hope you're able to create to take your mind off.

Will ever you do anymore Celeste covers? Your covers of them are the best.
I haven't uploaded them to RUclips yet because I'm super good at procrastinating. But there are a few more here: www.dwellingofduels.net/games/celeste/
@@CoryJohnsonVGMOh dang you made more? I'm hyped! Thanks for sharing this info with me. Can't wait to listen.
I can attest that those were some good songs.

It's magnificent, thank you ! Your cover is now playing on my head over and over again.
This is beautiful, thank you!
Really cool, man.
I never played "celeste" but this song made my skin crawl
The original song is so beautiful, your cover is amazing :') (it's like Lena Rain feat with Mono) Bravo
this is so cool! honestly i've never seen a post-rock cover of any video game music, but this is perfect.
How does this masterpiece have only 76 likes and a thousand views???
Amazing

@@CoryJohnsonVGMoh thanks!
Really cool remix, i wonder if the quotes sounds dark in that series, i never watched it, but it sounds pretty cool in the song.
I feel like your rendition of Quiet and Falling has a huge Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb influence, in a good way.
underrated as fuckkkkk
That's some great music! Is there a way to get an mp3 of it?
It was good except for the talking. Got a version without the talking?
