Not to quote Dave Ramsey but, they both have the heart of a teacher. They are both in my opinion, the best at teaching on the bass inner web. I’ve learned so much about BIG swim baits my head can’t hold it all. Props to you Dave as well. I still love Facts Of Fishing.

Matt and Tim are genuinely great guys
I reached out to Matt a few years ago and picked his brain about a specific technique and long story short I ended up at his house and purchasing rods from him to get started dialing in this technique. Not only that but he also helped when I had an insurance issue due to a crazy incident while towing my boat.

Dude great show and great guest I meet these two in Dayton last year passing thru and they very humble and just good people and speed cranking works tried it last year at Falls Lake in Raleigh had a great day of fishing. Plus speed cranking helps keep you warm when it's cold out

These guys are truly outstanding ! They put it all out there for everybody to improve there bass fishing skills . Like all you guys where saying ( I was borne with something in me when it comes to fishing ) I’m 46 and I was so young I don’t remember my first fish are first bass . The fact that these guys have taught me , shoot idk lol 6-8 different technics probably more and no lie absolutely showed me what’s what’s on dropshoting to the point it’s my go to when tuff . Look I could go on and on , I already was a fan of your and never did I think you would have these guys on . Hats off man I think your killing it and I can see you blowing up on RUclips if you keep crushing videos with guest like this . Keep them coming cuz I need slounchdonkeis in my life and knowledge is power 🎣💪💯

What Matt said about giving up competitive fishing for guiding is right where I've been back and forth for the last few months. I've been guiding for two years and have found there are attributes that can feed both styles for success. I definitely agree they're two separate mind sets. We’ll…another great show. Tim and Matt are originally from my neck of the woods in CA…have been followers of theirs for years. They are probably the best instructors for beginning and advanced fishing techniques…not withstanding they had one of the best sources of content at Clear Lake…lol.

Great show Dave! Tactical Bassin is the best youtube fishing channel out there. They talk to everyone, all levels, and you just trust them to be sharing the truth. They don’t come off as pushing certain brands or trying to sell stuff. I think that us one advantage they have over sponsored fishermen/pros/channels.
The appeal of these guys is they do tell the truth, talking about fishing and what works for them. Recommending lures, hooks, knots everything in fishing - they tell the truth!

I believe tactical have such a broad audience because a broad audience can relate from the young man trying to learn how to throw a fluke for the first time to the older gentleman trying to brush up his technique of throwing that fluke! And they just seem to be genuine when delivering this information. Their love of fishing is obvious!

Inspired me to make a lure of my own and it has been hard not to use due to the fish it catches. There was something missing in local stores I wanted so I made 2 of em in two colors, several different types of trailers can be used on em as well, now I wish I could mass produce em somehow... Thx so much for the inspiration tight lines!!
I really enjoyed tacticalbassin I watch it every day or at least every day that it's on. I think they post three or four times a week which is a lot of work. I've learned a lot from them. Now that you've had them on I would love to see you get a hold of the flukemaster Gene Gentry. He is my other favorite instructor especially since he spends a lot of time in a kayak. IFish exclusively from an Old Town Predator PDL kayak. And soon we'll have a brand new Old Town Sportsman bigwater 132 PDL next month. Great show as usual I really enjoy watching and try to do it every Wednesday but I couldn't yesterday I am doing it today Thursday morning with my coffee!

Man they are dead ON with the Speed cranking cold water! I’m a chickamauga local and I utilized this technique this year and last and both days I caught the biggest bag of my life EVER!! You have to find the bass first! I got out my Megabass OrochiXX 7’10” Launcher crank rod with a Diawa SteezA 8.1 reel. Tied on my Megabass DeepX300 and strait went to to work on them for a couple hours! It literally felt like cheating!! Tip is to use a 20lb braid to 12Lb fluoro leader! Best baits! Megabass DEEPX300 and DeepX600 also there tactical DD Crank will work! It’s basically a DeepX300.

Matt and Tim are amazing in what they do. Anytime I'm unsure of what size line to use, best line and knot to tie, best rod power and action to use, best reel size and ratio to use for whatever technique I'm interested in. Tactical Bassin has always been my "Go To" source to find the answers I need. I hope they're around for years to come. Keep doing what you do!

I started watching these guys when they had about 40000 followers, now they pushing half a million,
I learned how to throw a jerk bait better, never would use a jig before, now I got one tied on all year, didn't know how to fish a frog right, never would use trailers on spinner baits, etc, all stuff they taught me and then some, I keep following them simply cuz they are talking the truth
It’s amazing to think of just how many fish they have caught people.

so far this year my bass boat was down with a busted hub and i caught my biggest green dude off the ol driftboat, if you bass fish on a drift boat period your a bass head thats all there is to that... i got my biggest smallie this year fishing the wild west on the columbia, it got me a big fish check and i got super lucky to draw the right guys who really had it dialed in and i learned how to put a hurt on that place , my guy pulled a 20lb bag of small jawl and dropped my jawl out there, but i love the fall cause the salmon came home too i got broke off hard yesterday by a 20 plus king at the boat on a bad net job, but like the boys said theres just something about them ol ditch pickles that keep my heart
