Finally someone who's unlocked the mystery of DIYing a 188K diff. Nice one!!! Interesting that just with new bearings brought the backlash back into spec and different sized circlips weren't needed to change backlash and tooth engagement. Top job!!!

Just a piece of advice. The bearing must not be hit with a hammer during installation. They harden the surface of the bearing. The surface may be damaged. You can only squeeze. By the way, precise work.

Thanks, it's a simple pait from any buildshop. But it's not ideal you need to remove it. I saw people use lipstick. And some special paste
