    This car requires some attention regarding to rear suspension. Subframe as well as differential bushings was shot. Also during this maintenance we will replace wheel bearings. We will check condition of the body and paint/weld it if required. This is 20 year old car. And no one touch this stuff yet. Don't use this video as manual if you simply need to remove subframe. In that case you don't need to disconnect trailing arms. As well as brake rotors. Thanks for watching.

    hey so i noticed the way you’re axle but was bent into those little rivets. and your had to unbend it before loosening. when installing how should i bend it like that?

    • @mekanic3769
      @mekanic3769  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, i remove it because i will have a new wheel bearing. It is not 100% nessasery for this job. Generally new bering come with new nut which you should bend in the same way. If you reinstalling old one yes bend it twice

    • @ClipBallerr
      @ClipBallerr 7 месяцев назад

      @@mekanic3769 I got a new nut. should i just use a screwdriver or something to bend it? also im not doing this job yet just watching, right now im rebuilding after a crash almost done tho

    • @mekanic3769

      Yes it's a hard job. Don't know about 4k thought, it is really depend on the quality of work. Usually services don't have much attention for details.but If your guys is good and could restore every single bolt and replace every single clip. i think price is ok for England

      @@mekanic3769 sorry i haven’t watched every part so i don’t know how extensive your restoration is. but yes it is much easier to not deal with the axle nuts if you’re just trying to get the subframe out. props though, i know those can be a pita
