    Please know, your videos are so informative and highly appreciated. In July of 2021, I underwent a radical vulvectomy, because I had vulvar cancer. About a year and half after that (roughly March of 2023), I developed a lot of pressure and pain in my vulva. I was diagnosed with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (a direct side effect of having had the vulvectomy and having scar tissue) and am currently on a journey to strengthen and relax my pelvic floor. I have a wonderful therapist who highly suggested I watch your videos. Thank you very much for talking about such sensitive topics. :)

      Yes do try it, I have had so many abdominal surgeries over the years that now I have two things going on. One , adhesion problems wrapping around my internal organs most at the small intestine. This caused bowel obstructions which are no picnic and if you can't clear it on your own, you have better get to hospital. I also have rectocele, I thought the hemorrhoids were bad enough and I had decided to get them attended to with surgery. When I saw the general surgeon he informed me I had rectocele and that he could not deal with the hemorrhoids until the rectocele was dealt with. He sent me to a Colorectal surgeon would sent me to a urogynology surgeon. I wasn't impressed with any of them. So now its three years later, and my off and on again bowel obstructions cause me to have both constipation and loose stool. when constipated the rectocele and the hemorrhoids are so painful I almost passed out if I stand too long or sometimes when trying to pass fecal matter. I know the rectocele surgery is a painful recovery and not always successful so I am at a loss as what to do. NO doctor even with knowing my complicated medical history and the intense chronic pain I have will give me anything for pain. I am 71 so I don't know why they think I am going to become a drug dealer selling my rx's to people, it just makes me so angry. So, I have started drinking shots of vodka or really expensive bourbon when I am in pain. I have to do something to help. So I am watching everything about rectocele and hemorrhoid treatments and surgeries as the last thing I want to do is have more surgery . Keep seeing whomever you have to see to find help, I find doctors that are owned by big corporations are not suitable and maybe not even truthful.

    Thank you! I would love to hear more about your experience with your rectocele. What grade was it? What specific symptoms did you feel with it? And I know you said it took about 2 years for it to go away. Did you notice it gradually getting smaller? Did it seem like it got bigger before it got better? Maybe topics for another video but would love to hear more detail from you.

    • @moonrisefilippa_en
      @moonrisefilippa_en  Год назад +5

      I think it was a grade 1, maybe 1,5. The rectocele prevented me from pooping, which is horrible. Of course it came out finally but I could never empty the rectum fully. It was a slow progression and definately got worse many times before it got better. I might make a deeper video, but just want to add that I never looked at the rectocele, cystocele and the other symptoms separetly. There is no 1 fix for a certain symptom, we need to heal holistically

    I have constipation that is a heck of a challenge. But also my problem is not being able to pee out of a bladder that feels ready to explode at times. This has been torture & extreamly scary,- I am not one to scare easily - but this did it so that I went to the ER 6 times in 3 months. By the time their a step away of putting a catheter in me, ( after waiting 6 hours, my body decides to pee a river & the ER sends me home because theres no longer severe acute symptoms. They all act as though I'm some kind of hypochondriac looking for attention & don't seem to take it seriously. Ive asked my new obgn if I can be seen asap for fitting of pessary in hopes that will help me pee. Even tho they know of the many ER visits & how scared I get & the many hours each episode lasts, they were only able to change 3 month follow up by one week sooner. I cant get in for this til May 24. This just seems so wrong. The only saving grace is that now Im down to 5 days before I see the Pelvic Floor Therapist - waited 3 months for her & I just hope she can help!! I have a bladder & slight rectocele - but even though slight - the symptoms are many & BIG! I am interested in learning hypopressives & any & all methods that will help, not wanting surgery.

      That is the case for most women, usually because gravity is pulling and our pelvic floor gets tired throughout the day. Make sure to take mini rests, laying down with hips elevated on a pillow as often as you can

    • @mjblue84

      I am in my 70's and have dealt with this problem since I was 46 years old. I do not want the surgery and so I bought special types of belts to wear. I wear a prolapse support belt during the day and it really helps a lot. When you stand or walk around too long, gravity pulls the bladder (or organs) down causing the pain. I don't need to wear it at night because when I lay down in bed, I feel fine. You can find prolapse belts online. Hope this helps.

      Hi, are you doing now?

    • @jinjeegarrick
      @jinjeegarrick 7 месяцев назад +3

      You've probably figured out by now that you can push that ball back in where it belongs. It is the lower wall of your vagina that is being pushed out by the poo that is stronger than your weakened vaginal wall. Push back, and you can learn to guide the poo out of your anus with your thumb by inserting your right thumb into your vaginal opening and pushing on the lower wall of your vagina. You can use your right index and middle fingers at the same time around your anus to essentially squeeze the poo out like toothpaste out of a tube. You would wipe those fingers with toilet paper between each bit of poo that comes out. It is easiest to do this method when you maintain a consistency of small lumps, as that is far less messy than soft poo. This is doable with diet/water/exercise. Find the right combination of foods that soften poo, like flax bread and water with foods that harden poo, like dark chocolate, iron supplements, and black tea with milk and sugar. Walking helps everything. A Doctor would probably recommend and prescribe a Pessary to prevent that pain.
