I'm so hyped for the Mixtour Pro. I already own the original Mixtour.
I'm a retired pro dj and now play just for fun and keep myself mentally healthy. I'm doing business trips every month and my laptop and mixtour is always with me.
I play while on the road, in the hotel lounge, hotel room. Wherever I am, just me with a laptop and mixtour.
Still have the DVS setup at home, but with a young daughter running around at home, she got my dj room so the Mixtour is my new solution to keep playing music while my turntables are in storage.
Hope the Mixtour Pro will get an official launch date soon.

I love seeing this comment! Wow, such a proper use-case! The Mixtour Pro is a Mixtour on steroids. A proper festival setup, but super portable. Reading the above, I think you'll have a lot of fun with it! (Not trying to sell you a unit). I'm still very much in development with it but we're making steps! More to follow : )
@laidbackluke I was sold on the unit when it was announced. Its good to see that Reloop also take pointers from EDM djs. As a reloop fan and a edm dj, I always found myself outside the focus group with the scratch dj focus Reloop has had for several years. I hope your relationship with Reloop will thrive and continue to innovate.

@@laidbackluke Doesn't matter who invited who kuya Luke, but and since you replied... I'm teary-eyed (huge fan). You are known to be a step ahead among the other Djs when it comes to style and equipment and its always the same result: they bash and laugh now, then follow your lead later.

NAMM24 was crazy, I did so many demonstrations on my booth, including those converting between djay Pro 5 and all major DJ software in both directions.
So happy to read this! Truthfully, DJing is DJing and it's amazing there's so many options out there now. I didn't know this at all in my Pioneer days. I was just stuck in this one eco system.

I REALLY think the Reloop Mix Tour Pro NEEDS a MICROPHONE input. It's the biggest deficiency I have with the current Mix Tour. It could input where the Mono/Stereo switch is.
I might as well list some other items since I started :) Booth output would be nice. The volume controls for mic and booth could sit either side of master volume. Also 4 unassigned pads dedicated to custom assignment. Did the Pro fix the out of sync Cue issue? or is there a firmware fix for the OG MixTour? Might as well add a wish for a Bluetooth input too. :)

I'm gonna need to demo one of these. While I love streaming my tracks vs having them on a USB, the form factor seems a bit tight. I haven't used one, so I can't speak on it with any certainty, but I wonder how it compares in size to say the RX3 or RX2's mixer part.
It's definitely tight! And I'm pretty certain a couple of people with thick fingers won't be able to play on this. I personally needed it to be the same size as the old Mixtour, purely for travel purposes. To me it's just so beneficial to take this along with me on my tours, pop it in my backpack or carry on and not to worry about it. That's the angle. And of course a DJ like me could demand a proper setup, but I've done that throughout my Denon days and I'm done demanding that from promoters. So that's where it stems from.
unit looks awesome and 4 deck control is cool but i would love to see if you can use two of the units together to have more hands on control of the 4 decks without having to page swap?
I've seen a bunch of these requests coming in and I'm currently enquiring with Reloop if it's possible to implement : ) Keeping an ear on the ground so I appreciate you putting this out there!

My question is why USB Type C? When you play in clubs, your USB Type C may become disconnected during your set. Why not do it like before with USB? There will be problems in DJ sets with the cable disconnecting unexpectedly as vibrations will come from the speaker. You may need to return the old connector or you will have to make a good USB Type C so that it does not become disconnected. ?
USB Type C for fast charging/power and faster data transfer. Everything is moving towards Type C, I'm not an engineer but I think the older USB types will be phased out. There has been no cables disconnecting currently, and I will definitely keep an eye on that!
@@laidbackluke The new Pioneer controllers have a disconnected cable, and Pin Ya Joni's cable was disconnected while playing in a club. Even Carlo showed in the video that he pulled the cables and the Type C disconnected, but the USB would not disconnect.

@djse Reloop and Serato are not the same thing.
@@NerdReport exact, Serato makes software, Reloop make hardware (that work with Serato, Djays, and basically anything you can midi map).
