That is the problem hes already got the resume but now hes getting the fame for it! Spotlight is not for everyone!!! Makes good people do stupid things and bad people get worse!
His kicks look phenomenal almost like a whip still a youngster he’s gonna grow some more hopefully he gets heavy weight size or maybe see him in the mma scene in the future
if he cares about his bank account he'll definitely make the jump to MMA. He could be a BJJ black belt before he's 28 and he's already world class amongst strikers so the potential's there
10 year old from Chang Mai: "I have 200 fights since I was 4 years old, so my younger brothers and sisters could eat". Joe Ryan: "Let me fulfill your destiny as a champion of your circumstance" 10 year old: "sawadee kap".
@@swicheroo1 yea, I watched a few of his recent fights. He's okay, but he's also relatively young. Not sure if he's in Thailand full time but that would take him to the next level I think. All the fighters from the west that I know who stayed in Thailand for 2 plus years at the right gyms....they all went far in their amateur to later pro careers.
80 fights at 17 and this tall...!!!!!!!! my god he still will be growing taller for a few more years...!!!!!!!!!!! is this real...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will be a monster if he's been managed well and remain injury free ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, all you have to do is search up "Joe Ryan fights" and a few will show up.... This isn't a video to show off his fights, it's more of a backstory, a short documentary for him.......
At only 17 and an 8x world champ the world is quite literally his oyster. I hope he joins an mma gym gets some wrestling in and/or learns jiu-jitsu then there's no reason he can't make it into the ufc.. Will deffo be keeping an eye on his career.. Best of luck to you champ 🤟
Most fighters who have competed from a young age always have a large number of amateur fights for example Khabib had over 200 combat sambo bouts before he started his career as a professional mma fighter.
I’d disagree ‘most’, as most young fighters never become anything, you’re talking about future champions and using one of the best fighters in the world as an example. This guy is exceptional beast, it takes an unbelievable level of dedication to put in this much work by his age
There's a theory that the body deteriorates with each fight, so a top fighter has a certain number in him. In other words, the best fighters go downhill by their late thirties not because of aging specifically, but because of the number of fights they have endured. If that is correct, this kid will be done by 25.
If he takes a lot of head damage yeah. However, if he is like a Mike Tyson figure with a huge neck and KO power then he might endure past 25 if he wishes.
I think the video would have been better if it had more fight footage. Perhaps a seven minute video about fight prowess should have more than 5 seconds of fight footage?
My guess is that there is a lot more money to be had in MMA. Maybe he should start training his ground game and take down defense, so he can rise the MMA ranks. Or maybe he is already does this? I heard them mention MMA in the video, but I could not quite follow what they were saying.
First you have Smilla Sundell winning One Champ at 17, now you got this kid over 80 fights and world champ at 17 as well. Whats going on?! Are we so bored that we are putting children in rings now!?!?
Of course if it’s high level competition. I steamrolled my amateur competitors, a lot of guys at the amateur level aren’t that good, and if you’re really good you’ll come out relatively unscathed.
Most Muay Thai fighters from Thailand have 200-300 fights by this age, the cte doesn't seem to be too prominent in most of them, especially fighters from the golden era who are still alive
@@vishnu2407 by 17 they don’t have 200-300 fights. More like by 26 they’ve got that many fights. That’s an insane number of fights for a 17 year old, to the point where they can’t all be competitive actual fights. You’re gonna have CTE if you’ve had 300 competitive fights against good dudes for SURE.

He needs to build himself. First stop should be sports psych to get his confidence up and his demeanor up. If he makes a character out of himself, he will excel. Belts alone dont get you rich anymore. They help but they are not the only ingredient.
8x world champion 😂 not being funny but them belts are not legit sanctioned body’s. They Mickey Mouse belts like Andre Tates. Ryan is a legit fighter tho. Seen lots of his fights and he’s really good. He probably will be world champion one. It’s not that hard in Thai boxing. The best Thai fighters fight for stadium titles in Thailand but they dont consider them world champions. World champion is a westernised thing in Thai boxing.

they were discussing how MMA fighters don't properly condition their limbs for fighting, hence why you see nasty leg breaks from checks etc.
He most likely will transition into mma one day
Farang are taking over the sport! Thai's less often want to compete in Muay Thai bc the gambling has made it hard to make money.

Line up a fight with Paddy straight away, get Till to reff it behind closed doors
Why isn't he in Thailand fighting Thais?
Covid? School?
