good fight. Ryan shows a lot of promise. good distance control and great balance. strong teeps and uses throw away jabs to maintain distance control. he doesn't mind getting caught since he knows he can't get swept easily. he even manages to score a few points. seems like he's doing it on purpose. and that left lat of his opponent looked like raw roast beef. his balance also shows while clinching. he throws his opponent often while he doesn't get thrown in these exchanges. looking forward to more of his fights.
Joe is so good. For a young lad his IQ in the ring is brilliant. Cant wait to watch him fight again. Watching fights like this is why I think muay thai is the best sport in the world
Yes, its like he didnt know what to do next after catching those kicks. Few sweeps and that would have put doubt into Joe. Joe is a great young talent nonetheless and still learning his craft.
From what I’m seeing he didn’t wanna go for a sweep bc joe is looking to throw elbows as he closes the distance for a sweep. I Thai box I’m not catching no elbow for a sweep 😂 especially without elbow pads. Yikes
Beautiful fight to watch! Jose making nice catches of the kick but not capitalising on them. Joe, on the other hand, took every opportunity and opening he could find & responded well! Really good display of skills with the teeps and elbows from Joe in this one. Well Done!
Another great upload by the GOAT Muay Thai channel. This young lad seems decent, very instinctive and natural. The slip to reverse uppercut, lead hook at 10:25 was lovely. Also a very respectful guy. After elbowing out his gumshield at 14:15 then asking if he was ok. Then straight back to work haha. Quality stuff. I think it got to a point he knew his kicks would be caught and knew there was not repercussions for it. So carried on battering away. I think if he realised that lead teep to the face was there earlier, he could have stopped him. Great fight!
Very good display from joe, his kicking in this fight were quite easy to read but the boys very young got a lot more time for improvement this kid will be an absolute monster in years to come, can’t wait to watch his next 😃
@11:35 I'm pretty sure you can see one of Jose teeth being blasted out of his mouth by that teep and landing on the canvas where it can be seen sitting there for a bit?? No?
Ryan’s style looks to be like a hyper exaggerated Thai femur style almost to the point where he’s mocking or parodying it, but he seems to have found great success with it. Good on him!
Weird how every time he throws the roundhouse kick it gets caught but yet he never turns it and pulls it back. Seems very different to thai fighters that throw the roundhouse kick and immediately pull it back regardless if they get caught or not.
Could be intentionally baiting a catch - the first two kicks caught had same-side punches follow immediately. Would explain why Jose was so adamant about guarding his head after each catch
how did you like this fight?
I wish to fight like them 💪
♥️🔥🥊

It is nice to watch fights of different skill levels. It gives you an appreciation for the journey

interesting that he caught every kick but wasn't able to do anything with it, Joe was scoring at will with those
Thanks for watching
Joes roundhouse seems very easy to read

He caught those kick with a price look at the place the kicks landed while he caught it. He will feeo the pain afterwards

tip, fake and face tip, middle and jab, closing distance and elbow.
SWEEP... Wow, great match!!!
Joe ran a clinic in that fight. Jose is a tough fighter. Kept moving forward. Joe nicely kept it in favour of his range. Beautiful femur style

Yes more to come next one is a pure war
Love how the ref lets them work in the clinch
Loved it, a masterclass.
Lovely high level Muay Thai
It was class
Good fight. Jose was good in catching kicks, but unfortunately he didn't do much with it. Well earned win for Joe, nice teeps in Joses bread basked.

great fight!
Very nice technique!!!
Great fight 👏👏👏👏
Great fight

Damn good fight
Did José Manuel have any injuries before the fight? He didn't block any shots and didn't make an efficient shot.
Ryan’s style looks to be like a hyper exaggerated Thai femur style almost to the point where he’s mocking or parodying it, but he seems to have found great success with it. Good on him!
Right? Thought it looked kinda weird. Seems kinda slow as well compared to thai fighters like superlek and petchpanmurung
@@MyoMaster Aren't those Thais a lot shorter though?
The new Haggerty
Another special talent
Not even close mate. Talented thoo
@@Ricocee6 he is still young tho tbf
@@iGadgetzz yup very talented to.
@@Ricocee6 style wise no, he is not a KO killer but a technician and the new kid on the block so there are parallels, his record speaks for its self

Thanks

he taught me to sit on your back leg and used the foot that's been caught to pull them closer as your punching 👍
I amm Thai. I've been watching Thai for 40 year . In the future , Mauy Thai can't fight with you . Prasat Muay Thai is already a gamble +- 👍🙏
8:10💪
Welcome to world Muay Thai.
Joe Ryan' kicks are fancy. I suppose he got taekwondo backround.
He doesn’t. His father was also a Muay Thai fighter and taught him from a young age
Decent
Thanks for watching

those teeps, jesus christ!
Seems as if Jose was scared of Joe
กางเกงดำมันรับอาวุธเยอะจัง
RYAN JUST ANOTHER GREAT WHITE HOPE
Good taiming by Joe Ryan pure teep, fake teeepp, elbow, jabteep, fake teeepp and knee jejeje all time
🥲Oh, my god! Catch kick and do nothing, that's no good.
