Pocatello Idaho Temple Open House

- An open house is underway for the Pocatello Idaho Temple this week. Church leaders are in Idaho for media day and tours for invited guests.
The temple open house runs through Saturday, October 23, 2021. The Pocatello temple will be dedicated on Sunday, November 7.
I was born and raised in Poky. The last I saw the temple it was under construction. That was right before I moved to southern AZ. I have not seen it completed! I look forward to going some day! For now, I will have to enjoy attending my assigned temple of Gilbert.
It's such a beautiful place 💛 I am so grateful for temples and the amount of spiritual, mental, and emotional peace they offer. Absolutely priceless in the world we live in today.
But way can’t your religious leaders and members tell members of the pubic what goes inside your temples or how much it costs to build them. Why is there so much secrecy inside your faith when your sole duty as a follower of god is love christ and to make him know?

I walked through tonight. It is beautiful!
Amazing. My Mother in Law would have been overjoyed to have lived long enough to have seen this Beautiful Temple within walking distance of her home. Unfortunately she passed on in 2010.
She can now look down from above and watch her decedents enjoy the blessing it affords them,

I have never been to a LDS temple open house. Maybe I should go in the future
This is a waste of time & utility. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the reality of being human or anything real about the teachings of Christ. It is all about hiding from the truth of being who you really are as person. The damage this institution has inflicted upon people would stagger the strength of a team of horses.
