In my opinion the A700WEM it's a masterpiece in designing a contemporary digital watch but yet inspired by the classic design. It's so fluid how it incorporates the bracelet, the angles in the corners and the tones of silver are perfectly chosen. The sad thing is that the case is not made from steel and instead of resin. That's my only complain. I could have paid more just to have the quality upgraded
Thank you for making the video, this is the precise comparison I was looking for. If it's possible, would you make a video where you have interchanged the bands between these watches?
I bought both of them and immediately sent the 700 back. The A1000 is perfect for me , its slim and feels perfect in size and weight on my rather thin wrist. The 700 feels and loocks sa bad on the wrist compared , like a plastic toy and far too small. I had a marlin in the 80s that i really liked. For me the A1000 is the best watch casio makes today . I find the metal g-shocks to heavy and far to bulky. I do wish it had 50m waterresist but iam shure it will be fine swimming with ( i have had it in the shower several times with no problem). But if they made the A1000 more waterresist but thicker i think i would prefer the slimmer less waterresistant watch.
Am fortunate enough to own both. I appreciate the A1000 being metal and the white illuminator light. The A700 is the watch I prefer however. It's just so stylish and crisp in its design. The module looks fantastic as stated and the light is such a warm orange. The slimness is pretty breathtaking
1:55 Don't you find when you hold them together like that, you cover the screens with scratches? I'd hold them back to back myself, but that's me. I have this version of the A1000, but the link bracelet version of the A700 (in silver and gold). To be honest I prefer the mesh on your A700, though I liked the primary colours on mine when I bought it. I suppose I wouldn't have bought this A1000 if I had the mesh A700 would I...
Good vid. I think a 16cm wrist is right in between the two but definitely a smaller watch will compliment it better rather than sizing up in Casio. Def the 700 for 16cm wrist, bigger wrist sizes or slightly more than 16cm would appreciate the added ruggedness and wrist presence of the 1000. I own the 1000 in ion plated black

My A700 unfortunately cracked two weeks ago and the resin body (the attachment of the bracelet) didn't survive. I'm considering the A1000, but I'm not a fan of the bigger size. This is a dilemma.
Thanks for this excellent side by side. I have the a700 and was thinking id messed up by not getting the a1000, but now i see that i haven't! A700 to a1000 spec is needed!
Really nice comparison. I have the A700 and I'm thinking about buying the A1000MA, but I have a question: Is the strap more adjustable than the A700's? I have a very skinny wrist and the A700 is a bit loose for me even at it smaller adjust. I'm afraid it could be the same with the A1000. Thank you very much!
Not sure about the A700 strap, but I've had the A1000MA for a few months... I get a perfect fit on my small wrist. I even got a good fit for my 7-year-old with it.
Such resin cases after 2 years are scratched and you'll want new watches. Steel has no this problem. The worst for expensive and durable A1000 is short time battery and low water protection.
A700 better. Newer models are always like tryhard versions where they really don't bring anything better maybe other than some technical improvements just by virtue of time. It doesn't mean much.
The perfect version would be the A700 in steel instead of plastic.
Now we're talking! That would feel so good, dense and perfect size.

@@gavinsemonell1004 Yes is nice ,also similar with this one A700
totally agree the 1000s nah not a patch on the 700s...

That's always the problem with manufacturers
Just got into watches and was taking a look at both of these. Thanks for the super helpful video!
For me A1000 is perfect, love that they changed the backlit colour and added steel (finally)
The a1000 is simply amazing. Much higher quality, definitely worth the extra money! I own both of these❤
The design is much worse

Thanks for presenting both side by side. To me however the A1000 is better looking hands down :)

Love the looks of these. Old school Casio with a little class. Great video
Good comparison! Can you check whether the bracelets are interchangeable between these two models?

How did it crack?
@@kuchauwe752 in the place where the bracelet is attached. Cracked when I was tying my shoes.
The flat screen of the A700 looks more elegant
I am "upgrading" from the A700 to A1000 because of the steel case. Sadly plastic one scratches very easily, otherwise love the A700.

Respect for Casio one of best watches for me , thanks for video personally help me
I WILL WAIT THIS WATCH RELEASE IN MY COUNTRY
Is it easy to change the straps on both watches?
would you please tell me Which other casio module is fix or changeable to the a1000 watch?
Is the A1000 18mm lug width? I've just ordered it and I have a jubilee bracelet I want to pop it on
Nice video, i agree
Merci
Hi, does anyone know if both/either of these watches have a countdown timer function? Thanks
I have the A700 and there is no countdown unfortunately. The A1000 doesn't have countdown either according to the official website.
The B640W has a countdown timer and stopwatch

Agree, A700 does the user case of a slim and silver better. Hopefully the next round of A1000 updates hit the spot.
Thank you!
What is the difference between the A700WEM and A700WM?

مشکی خیلی قشنگه
I am in the market for silver Casio watch 😊
Plz compare the Casio A700 with Skmei 1639 or 1660 !!
A pity those silver painted plastic Casios scratch up after a couple of months. The stainless steel Casio wins for me every time.

a1000 high range
The A700 has got plastic display. Check your facts.
The international variant has mineral crystal. Too bad he has the European version
@@cezzarmicu How to know which variant it is?
@@mich722 the one with E on the model number is the European release (A700WE instead of A700W)
