great video, I never played death metal so I will give a try. I don't know, maybe i'm wrong, but would be better if you play normally (normal speed) and then, you explain playing slow? Just a suggestion, for me is like, ohh so this part is like that, ok now I will listen the explanation and catch the details watching playing slow. sorry for the bad english lol.
It wouldn't break your strings but you'll have a lot of issues with tuning stability, and the bridge will pull back. I wouldn't recommend it, unless you're going to set it up to stay tuned down permanently. But I'd probably get slightly higher gauge strings for that
Hello Mitch, that's exactly what I've been looking for! Thank you so much for your time and effort to create this very helpful video! With greetings from Germany Matthias
Awesome, you helped me to fix some parts I've been playing wrong. About the solo, I just can't play fast. I have some issues about picking fast alternating strings... Any tips?
I would definitely work on slowing it down a bit, and making sure you're picking in the same direction each time you do the licks. Work on 1 phrase at a time with a metronome if possible, it'll take time but you'll get it!
Thanks man, i finally learned a full death song🤘

Thanks for your insight, I will definitely take that into consideration for my upcoming videos!
I can tune down on a floating(tremolo) bridge?
I have locking tuners too,the guitar can handle it or i risk a string break
Also when i tune down,i need to start from e..b.. or from E...A
