Thanks Susan this still sits on my side board, i was particularly pleased with this piece, i think your right it is such a nice contrast with the different woods
Thanks Randy, I was messing around with this idea and came up with this, it was only a rough prototype and i keep meaning to make something a bit smarter, but never seem to get around to it
Absolutely beautiful Steve, that's nicer than mine! I saw a good tip the other day to stop glued joints from slipping when clamped, just put a very small amount of salt grains at the ends of each joint and this stops it! Keep meaning to give it a try.
Hi Steve. You mentioned that turning was very therapeutic, but I find it almost hypnotic. That bowl turned out exquisite. Lovely combination of woods, whatever they were. I have a little concern with the exposure of your camera when filming from above. It looks a little over exposed and very bright where the wood is just a blur of white. Can you adjust the exposure? Only a little critical, but may enhance the view. Once again, well done old mate.
Thanks Bri, I have noticed this for a while but didnt know how to compensate for it, the problem is i have LED strip lights and flood lights so i have a good light to work in, then presumably causing the over exposure, if i set it on Auto will this automatically adjust itself or will i need to manually adjust it
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! Grande Steve!!!
Gracias Mauro, disfruté este y me alegro de haber encontrado un buen uso para esa hermosa pieza de madera astillada.
Sublime combination of wood choice (colours and textures)
I will give this sandwich approach a go.
Great inspirational guide Steve
Thanks again.

Gorgeous work Steve thats a great combination of wood ❤
Thanks Tim, I'm glad I watched Mikes video other wise that piece of wood would have been wasted
Gorgeous! The spalting caught my eye in the thumbnail, it is so striking with the cedar next to it for contrast.
