For some it doesn't matter. The fact you are not the same ethnicity as them is why they won't accept you. These parents didn't end up sticking to this route, but there are people out there who definitely do and won't budge on it.
The trouble will come of they have a hiccup in their marriage (God forbid). I believe this culture believes marriage is a one time thing. He is the eldest son so technically his son is to carry on the bloodline. Most of these Asian cultures just don't believe in mixing and are very traditional. However today's society across the world are becoming more diverse and are loving who they want regardless of race, shape, culture, or color. I wish them happiness.
As a brazilian I can say that we are more receptive and we accept foreigners because we value the human being more than anything but we also have a disregard for people who don't respect individuality. Altough we are a mosaic in terms of ethnic blending, we have our own culture and social demands.
In asia, some cultures tend to be very conservative and have high expectations. Korea is like this. It's not that they don't see value as a human as a foreigner, it's just they are used to and expect their children to marry Koreans. It's very hard to impress asian in-laws as a foreigner. Also multicultural relationships tend to be very challenging and asian parents know about this. Anyone can fall in love, but cultural barriers are more difficult to overcome than a lot realize. However this is different for places like the Philippines where it may be more like Brazil and more welcoming.
I am not sure the father-in-law was acceptable of his daughter inlaw until he saw his grandchild. Most grandparents are like that. No daughter inlaw or son inlaw is good enough for their son or daughter until a child is born. She's very attractive & talented. It's good all turned out well.
he better accept the mom if he’s love’s his grandkid because no kid like watching thier mother get misstreated so if grandpa doesn’t switch up the son will eventually dislike him..

So what if the couple is actually childfree?
Children are sometimes rejected sadly.
@@thematrix3663 so many videos on that on youtube. Especially when the grandkids look very different, they dont fit into the extended family and arent accepted.
The Korean are very lucky coz whoever there they learn the language and it's very easy for them to interact also
Such a lovely family❤️
She's so pretty
Lovely story 🙏🏽 blessings
I don't get why Women are ALWAYS the ones to leave behind her EVERYTHING for a man??
Why not the men?
Leaving her home, her parents, her siblings and best friends, her country and her LIFE?!!!
Because SHE CHOSE to. You’re crazy.
Chan Chan is very beautiful.

I told my daughters I do not care who you marry; long as they are not abusive!
Thank you for this K Doc videos an eye opener and an opportunity to foreigners, to be discover, their life, talents, skills and real stories. You're amazing woman.
She's so beautiful and perfect 🥺
She's sooooo pretty omg
She is pretty good at Korean and also fairly pretty. Not sure why would parents not like her.
For some it doesn't matter. The fact you are not the same ethnicity as them is why they won't accept you. These parents didn't end up sticking to this route, but there are people out there who definitely do and won't budge on it.
Simple fact. Harsh but true.. she's squeezing them through their son. Most likely, her son has to send bags of money to her poor parents in Myanmar.
@@ALIEN_857 Based on her past photos, her parents didn't seem like a poor at all.
Why haven't seen the baby smile in this episode... ;-; He's such a poker face. Lmao
Grandma adores Dumpling!
Such a sweet family.
Where is she from
Bruh this is the first time i didnt need to read the subtitle of whst she was saying. I understood her language and I'm shook

She is a very pretty Myanmese!
I am not sure the father-in-law was acceptable of his daughter inlaw until he saw his grandchild. Most grandparents are like that. No daughter inlaw or son inlaw is good enough for their son or daughter until a child is born. She's very attractive & talented. It's good all turned out well.
That's our princess from Myanmar, Chan Chan🥰
🙏🏾 baby can visit grandma and grandpa 👴 in person.
She looks like Jiho from Twice.. low key cute.

he better accept the mom if he’s love’s his grandkid because no kid like watching thier mother get misstreated so if grandpa doesn’t switch up the son will eventually dislike him..
Yea, kids pick up things very fast. He better change his mindset if he want peace in the family
dude she looks so similar to Jihyo! gorgeous
