- 🇬🇧 The 2024 London Super Trunk Show was a resounding success, setting a new visitor record with over 1,300 attendees. The event, which took place at Showcase.co on 12 Regent Street, featured an array of men’s shoe and menswear exhibitors from around the globe and hosted three prestigious world championship contests in shoe shining, shoe patina, and shoemaking, which will each be featured in subsequent videos to be published on @kirbyallison .
The Super Trunk Show is renowned for its multifaceted appeal. Visitors had the unique opportunity to see, try on, and order from numerous shoe and menswear brands in one location. The event's highlight was the thrilling contests that celebrated the finest craftsmanship in shoemaking, shoe shining, and shoe patina. These competitions attracted enthusiasts and professionals from around the world, adding to the event's vibrant and international atmosphere.
The organization team, comprising Jesper Ingevaldsson of Shoegazing, Justin FitzPatrick of The Shoe Snob blog, and Kirby Allison of KirbyAllison.com and RUclips, were particularly excited about the diverse mix of attendees. This included everything from a reunion of the former Fosters & Son workshop shoemakers to new potential retailer meetings for international brands.

You can find good deals at sites like either Cobbler Union or Carmina for either sales or outlet/ seconds at less than $300. I bought a pair of Cobbler's captoe oxfords as seconds and honestly can't tell what's wrong with them. I bought a pair of suede loafers from Carmina.
I have a pair of Bridlen shoes and they are very disappointing
