I liked the Oxford austerity brogues very much. Hugo last weekend I met your friend Valerio from Lanieri in London and chose a grey sports jacket and a burgundy pair of chinos. I love the Florentine Loafers and agree with adding the medallion or brogue higher up towards the tongue area. I have many shoes which I like but hate that the strap is too low. I believe a shoe should look elongated when you the wearer look down on it. I am in the process of finding a cobbler to adjust and customize my shoes which I feel need this minor adjustment. Finally as per usual you made a another informative and great video. I will be purchasing one of these new styles. Kudos to you Sonia and CNES job well done.

In EU you have to pay local VAT + duties. That means, for most countries, something like +18-22% for vat applied _on top_ of total price (shoes+shipping+ duties, which I believere are around 5% for shoes in Italy iirc, not sure elsewhere). Which is no small fee unfortunately, and makes them not really much more affordable than other spanish makers.
Actually it depends on which country. It's very difficult to say because some EU countries don't charge anything when others (like France) charge all the time. The last time I received two pairs of CNES (approx 600 euros) I had to pay 45 euros (which doesn't make sense really because it's less than the VAT). Anyway, it's still a phenomenal value for the quality. Cheers, Hugo
