In this video I show you how to install a funn direct mount stem to your mountain bike handlebars or your sur ron handle bars. In my case I have a ProTaper 3 inch rise bar for my sur ron. the diameter of the bars are for the (RSX Direct Mount Stem (31.8mm Bar Clamp)) The one that i ordered incorrectly that doesnt fit is the: (Funn RSX Direct Mount Stem (35mm Bar Clamp)) this is for bigger bars. You will need some carbon spacers to attached to the head tube of the fork/suspension. In my case, i have the rockshox boxxer select front fork. This should also work with the stock sur ron rst fork, or the Fox 40 fork. You will need a 5mm allen wrench and a 4mm allen wrench, that should be all you need.

Why did you put that on? I just watched your video on why to not get one. 🤔
You have the stem backwards. The forward bolts had to be on the outside. Meaning, the left side put it on the other side. I ordered mine with the stock 31.8 size and then upgraded to a rental bar.
Might as well get the Grit Shift direct mount riser stem in the return order 🤣

Does it fit 35mm renthal fat bars with a 40 rise?
The rise part wont matter, just make sure you get the ones that fit 35 mm and you should be good

You ordered 35mm clamps.
So it is zero gap on top? or is it even gap all around for the face pieces.
Or maybe its just zero gap all around.
Im not sure exactly what youre asking, but it fits the sur ron and these specific bars perfectly

it has 30mm rise, and it's for handlebars that have 31.8mm bar-bore like the 3 inch protaper bars i have, which are these: amzn.to/3T5NkYN

Take note you very thing spacers on the steerer or the stem won't fit. Also for headlight to sit properly you are going to need a 25mm direct mount stem spacer for your light to sit right
