- (I do not own this video and no copyright infringement is intended whatsoever. Only for entertainment purposes. If you like this video you can buy the DVD Rush Clokwork Angels Tour from Zoe Records / Pgd) This is an amazing song with a drum solo from RUSH, one of the most respectable bands on the planet. This guys are almost if not in their 60's and they still play so good. I remember listening to RUSH as a kid and now looking back I believe this guys are some of the best musicians on the planet today. I admire them and I will continue to be a RUSH fan for as long as I'm alive. I hope to see at least one more RUSH album before they decide to retire.
RIP maestro Peart, the professor on the drum kit indeed. You where one of the greatest rock drummers.
correction.....he was one of the greatest drummers ever, not just rock
he will always be the best RIP Neil
Correction - Neil WAS the best drummer. 😄😃
The master of all reality game over. Blows all drummers away with eas Michael digiovanni😀
Thanks bro Neal rules😰
Geddy's bass intro in this performance is one of the greatest things i have ever heard
What an achievement. Never commercial music and such a loyal following for decades. Never selling out. Class.
Incredibly fun geddy at beginning , just rush having fun , were all going to miss the genious Neil Peart. Breaks our hearts , so few can just jam like THIS. Alex, Geddy, and Neil Thank you soooo much
Lead guitar....lead bass...lead drums!
Not too many bands give me goosebumps anymore. This sure did!!!!!

I am watching this Febuary 8th 2020 with a faceful of tears. He truly was my hero...
watching this june the 16th with a face full of tears too...
@@miguels1972 Watching this September 28, with a face full of tears... All I can say is "thank you". When I finally get to heaven, I look forward to hearing Neil play again live.
Now that would have been a SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW for the ages. We'll never know now will we ☹️ 🎼🎶🎵 RIP Neil
no matter what the cost i would of been there
Robert McIntosh It would probably be a Toronto Maple Leaf game lol
Well when you consider all the SHITTY half time shows over the years it would have instantly been in the top 3 all time
M K
I was beginning to think nobody shared my view. What would your other 2 have been? Mine would've been McCartney, The Who and if I had 1 more it would've been Bruno Mars. It's the Super Bowl dammit.
@@robertmcintosh8476 Do you mean other 2 who did perform or other 2 I would like to have seen perform ?
A tremendous amount of substance in their music. They have truly marked an epoch in music history. If they played at the Super Bowl halftime show, the teams would never return to the field except to watch Rush! Ha! Their Live shows were mesmerizing. “ Thinking Man’s Music”
Complex isn't it ??
Young people: man! Look at these old guys rock out!
Old people: heh look at these youngsters learning to rock out!
RUSH RULES!!!
Geddy Ripped That Bass Intro Like The True Bass God That He Is!!!
Damn. They were/are just the best! I've been a fan since 1977, and was able to see them, in concert, about 20 times. NEVER ONCE did they ever disappoint, or just "phone it in". Rest In Peace, Neil.
Does anybody ever get tired of Neils drum solos? I don't!
It’s impossible
I get tired of trying to play his solos... Neil was such a fuckin beast on the kit.
Yes, my neighbours!
If all the great composers were alive today. RUSH would be their favorite band.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
No one will ever come even close. A drumming god. RIP my friend
As great of a person as he was a drummer. Thank you professor
World Class, Rush are untouchable.....
Suddenly you were gone..all the lives you left your mark upon...I remember.
R.I.P. Neil, and a BiG Thank You man! generations of Drummers will continue to be inspired by your flow brother!
Monster drummer! God I'm going to miss him. R.I.P.
Ive been a fan of Mr. P since 1976. He was THE inspiration for me playing the drums for 30 years. It’s been a week since his passing and I’m still walking around in a daze. I just cant believe this unbelievable human being has passed. The sobering fact is this generation of musicians are getting old and may not be with us for much longer. I will forever be amazed at your technical skills, lyrical chops and humanitarianism. RIP Professor.
Dear Neil.... INFINITE thanks for giving RHYTHM to my...our lives. AIR DRUMS anyone???
Absolutely inspiring to watch Peart play. A true master of his craft.
Yes...This is what a Rush gig is like...glad I got there twice!! RIP Neil...an amazing guy. We could talk percussion all day...but Rush ain't Rush, without his fine lyrics !
One of my very favorite latter-era Rush songs and a killer drum solo to boot!! I went to see this tour a 2nd time primarily for THIS! RIP Neil....
😲 I CAN'T EVEN FOLLOW THE BASS DRUM AT THE BEGINNING OF THAT SOLO !!! JAW DROPPING TALENT THAT NOBODY WILL EXPERIENCE AGAIN. 🙏✌❤❤❤
Can’t finish watching Neils solo with dry eyes. Rest easy out there somewhere Neil. You’re music will live on forever.
I love how the crowd is already roaring after Neil's solo, then when he catches the drumstick, they go ballistic
What is more grueling, competing in a triathlon, or playing drums for three hours in a Rush concert. Neil was such a master of his art. The stamina required to play at that level for that long - just unbelievable. The Professor had it all. RIP
Peart once said his part of a Rush concert was like running a marathon while doing math calculations in his head.
What a massive sound for a three piece band, amazing.
I believe the worlds best drummer is gone this is a great loss to the world may Family and friends be blessed that you was part of their lives and my hopes that it doesn’t pain you too much he will always be in millions and millions of people’s hearts truly sorry this man is gone the legendary Neil Peart impacted my heart and always beats with the sound of a drum thanks for much impact you left us all Forever😪
F'ing BRILLIANT. I love the way they can really rock on without singing a word and it doesn't just sound like a practice jammin' session.
The amount of creativity and perceived amount of practice to perfect such a complex tune. And then there is the interplay between the 3. Perfection
Geddy is just unbelievable! Neil is off the charts. Alex is amazing. Gods amongst us mortals. 3 of the best ever
RIP Neil Peart. The Alpha and the Omega of drumming.
And again. .. Ladies and gentlemen. The Professor on the drum kit
Rest I Peace in that great drum kit in the sky
The three best musicians on the planet!
People, like me, knew they were never gonna see or hear something like this ever again. RIP Neil.
One of the best drummers in the whole world!!!
The best effin' band that ever was...yes I said that and meant it too! Thank you Marcelo for posting these RUSH videos!
I had the pleasure to see them live three times. They never disappointed. Neil was an amazing percussionist and lyrisist. The world will never see another. I loved Rush and was in awe of the professor most of my teenage years and my whole adult life bi will miss their inspiration and love of music.
Unbelievable.
The professor.....Totally totally awesome
They are amazing!
It is a great regret that I never took the time and the cash to go see them live...
RIP Neil! No one even comes close
The effortless precision of a true master.
Damn in my garage crying right now I will never forget
Omg, I can’t say enough about Neil, he is the drums, you look at him when he plays, he becomes 1 with the drum kit, I’ve gotten all or most of the Rush albums, and have listened to all of Neil’s drum solos, he’s pure magic, NO ONE WILL OR CAN , REPLACE THIS MAN , my only wish , would have been to get a signed autograph from this man, Live on Neil Peart
You never hear anyone say I was so wasted and missed the show after a Rush concert.
Actually a guy I know was so drunk he said he could not remember the concert.
Their always has to be one. The guy is a bit of a dick though. 😁
Do not grieve that Neil is gone. Be thankful he was here and he left us with such an amazing body of work.
damn Rush is good
Awon2zip Rush is God :)
I could watch Ged “slap da bass” forever!!
Never was a fan of the music. Just listened to them because they had the damn best drummer.
DUH
@@blastofo i liked the music first before discovering neil was the greatest drummer
Rush. I saw them in 1982, the exit stage left tour. my first live rock and roll show in concert in a arena ( the meadowlands NJ) Rush is great then and now.

RIP Neil! you left us a lot.
Awesome performance. Love the march-style buildup from the end of the solo back to Where's My Thing.
Ya know what? I grew up with these guys and these three people are just having fun with their talent.
Neil, you will be missed. Especially you twirling that drumstick.

That's crazy man. I did not realize the date when I posted the video. Wow. Long Live RUSH.
+Jose .Gonzalez it ssys 2013
What he means is that It was uploaded on the 21st of December. 21/12.
oh yeah :)
@@marceloalicea2012 Yes and in most nations the date is written 21/12 meaningate then month then year except USA
THAT KIT IS PHENOMENAL!
Geddy is so energic playing. He virtually fucks the bass guitar.
All of his basses have to be at least 18 years old or it would be statutory sexual assault. Every bass has made it consensual. No one assaults a bass like Geddy does, that’s for sure.
No words can even describe how amazing Neil was!! 😆
Sorry we lost him at such an early age. 😭
RIP ❤
THE BEST OF ALL TIME!!! I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO SEE THEM FIVE TIMES!!LIFETIME OF MEMORIES. REST IN PEACE MR.PEART!!
The best group! Thank's
40 years in the absolute drum high end.Who can compare?
Sucks that we can never see these 3 master musicians together again. You are missed Niel. RIP Professor ...

Fan forever watching November 17 2021 47 shows thank god for what this music has done for me and my family.
Hard to believe maestro is gone. RIP master Peart😪
It’s really fun to watch them live. Every now and then you will see a facial expression that tells you, yeah I know we’re badasses.
Absolutely awesome GOD BLESS 🙌 🙏
This Neil Peart moment is surreal....but let's not forget Geddy Lee and his SICK bass playing ....and Alex's guitar riffs,,,,this ENTIRE band is beyond greatness !!
