The stats glitch is not an "underflow" glitch, it doesn't involve negative numbers at all, it's simply a case of "forgetting to reset the state and initialize things to zero" glitch. But that's just me being pedantic.
Shesez sent me here, and I'm glad he did. This was a good episode! This might sound odd, but I actually appreciate this video's short length. There aren't many good videos on RUclips these days that are under 10 minutes, and that kind of bugs me because I don't always have enough contiguous free time to be watching 10+ minute videos constantly.

The grinding glitch is insane, I discovered it on a custom level by grinding the literal barrier on the edge of the map. There must’ve been a smart rail tucked in there somewhere lmao
3:23 I actually figured this out a few days after launch. With any create a park, put down those concrete barriers. If you put down enough close together and put walls around them, you can make a platform you can float on and do infinite tricks

I have one! Make a corner with two pools, jump in to the corner and you need to fall off the skateboard in that corner. It’s hard but if u pull it off, it’s halarios

I came across a fun glitch many moons ago when THPS 4 came out. When you unlock Boba Fett, one of his special moves was the rocket launch, which would shoot him in the air. Next is unlocking the moonwalk cheat which is essentially doing the rocket launch trick but with every trick you do. FINALLY when you turn on the moonwalk cheat with Boba, go off a ramp and do the rocket launch trick it catapults you in the air. If you repeatedly do the rocket launch trick, you just get higher and higher. I would just do this over and over until I would essentially be out of the level. Once you get to a point it would glitch out and freeze the game. But that was pretty mind blowing to me when i was 12 haha
5:07 Is actually a UseAfterFree bug. Basically, the game isn't properly clearing the old character's stats out of memory after deletion, so when you create a new character it's setting the starting values for the base stats again without resetting the points counter. A VERY basic mistake for devs to make but I've made it myself more than a few times.
5:10, pretty sure this isn't an 'underflow' and more likely an oversight because the menu is not being cleared/reset. It's very likely the developers didn't expect you to do that exact sequence, because it's the same menu for every new character, but the character's stats are being set to the defaults, but the menu is not being updated / cleared when you delete the old character, so the points from the previous character are still in memory when you create the new one.
Like the ending with the falling out the map, I had the same thing yesterday at Skate Heaven. Just hit the sweet spot between Sadlands and the 'house' (the one with the distortion of reality) between Isle of Tony and Sadlands.
I like how solid this game is finding gamebreaking bugs and glitches is extremely rare and you can only really find them if you look i think in all my hours i only fell out of the map once
I found one similar to the floating trick glitches, in the Philadelphia level, the line where you grind to get the secret tape, if you keep going and land a grind on the corner of the building on the other side you can do seemingly unlimited kissed the rail grinds. Unfortunately I wasn't expecting it to happen and didn't land it, and was not able to replicate it again.
There is also a LFG in Downtown too, if you Ollie on the bus stop seats. As well as the School II map while in between one of the planters and the awning, and even one in the mall in a similar situation towards the end but that one's less than cooperative.
I kinda hope they don't patch them. Like finding fun glitches and exploits is part of the nostalgic fun of old ps1 games since cheats are just menu options now

i heard from a lot of people that its pretty common to get out of bounds/ clipping through walls for no reason but honestly in my 40 hours of playing i just encountered it once in school 2 when you turn around at the start and ollie into the right corner. i cant replicate it but it happend once to me.
That exact floating glitch can also be done in THPS4. It works the same way, too. Finding a space smaller than your skater and jumping at a standstill. And it works best when the floor and ceiling are flat and parallel. Crazy to think such an old glitch made it into this remake. Wouldn't be surprised if something like corner glitching still worked. Also, in THPS4 if you do more than 250 consecutive air tricks, the game will crash lol.
I remember a glitch like the floating glitch in the original tony hawk pro skater 3. There was this thin little alley way in one of the city maps, and if you ollied just right, you could get stuck between a fire escape and a dumpster and fall forever. I never figured out how to land, but you could still use it in the timed score attack mission things to get crazy scores because you didn't have to actually land to bank the points.
I got this game 6 days ago and it's the best tony hawk game since underground. Hands down all you need is the ability to play online and share created parks. Infinite replayability but damn the people in competitive mode are good! I can't keep up with 4,000,000 point combos every round. Great game, get it!
I dunno how widely known this one is, but if you don't have the latest PS4 update at the time of release, it won't install the update that lets you play online - however you are able to use Game Mods for the Platinum Scores and Speed Runs, which many won't have seen as they patched these out in the second update. Fortunately I was able to get all the Platinum Scores before updating.
I got a glitch (on the switch version) where the writing in the competition heat 1 was overlayed on the top the whole time. Even overlayed on top of heat 2 etc.
If you jump up the Rio build a park piece with the flaggie thing, you can level yourself and balance to float on top of the lippable flag ledge like the SAN Francisco glitch.
Thanks for helping me get the 10,000,000 points in a classic park trophy! I Kno I could have just used the in game mods but haven't turned them on since getting the game and don't plan on doing it either!

Our dad brought up an XBOX he had when he was a kid, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 was always very buggy. This video makes sense.
