- Back by popular demand, we'll take a deep dive into the Keltec RDB-S survival rifle. We will get up close and personal as I answer a few questions and cover a few ommissions from my first video.

amazing rifle... I lost both bolt stop spring at the first day at the range... any idea how to reinstall them?

I’ve heard in another video that you can change to the pistol grip module???
I feel like there is a slight wiggling between the barrel and the stock/ handle and trigger lower, is there a way of tighten them? I have the RDB-C
I have not experienced that. Everything is nice and snug once the pins are in for me. Definitely go back and torque all the screws holding the furniture together back down. Some did loosen up for me after a few hundred rounds. I would contact Kel Tec if it’s still happening after that.
How do you take the sights off?
The magazine release appears unprotected like on original M16. I wonder if there's a problem with an unintentional mag drop on RDB-S.

I have never come even close to that situation 💯, the look of it is more deceiving than it appears, I run 40rnd mags and everyone looks at it confused 🤣🤣🤣👍
Where did you get those iron sights? Mine didn't come with any, and kel tec doesn't seem to offer them on their website. I'd love to get them.
These come with the RDB Survival. They are not compatible with the RDB.
Hello... What modifications or upgrades can I do to the RDB-S?
A red dot or prismatic sight and a sling is all I can recommend.
Very informative,can the grip group be swapped for a pistol grip?
Excellent question and I can’t believe I’ve never tried. Turns out, the pistol grip lower from the standard RDB is completely interchangeable. The handguard cannot be swapped. I have a short video now posted so you can see what it looks like.

I want it, but that is a lot of danger going on right next to your face. If the chamber grenades from a unnoticed squib load or something I doubt the sheet metal in the top provides enough protection. You would definitely want to check the barrel for obstruction after any malfunction, not just clear and keep shooting
Can the rear sight be removed?
I don’t believe it’s intended to be removed, but it can.
@DFW Gun Cleaning thanks. I know I have seen others removed, just didn't know if it was simply removing a screw or 2, or if it was a more involved process.
