I’d like to thank you for taking us along on the journey Dave. The channel has evolved massively from those early days. Your preparation , determination, character and Yorkshire delivery (With a little help from the glorious back garden you have to ride around in ) make your channel unique. It doesn’t need much of a change in formula. Just keep polishing mate. All the very best to yourself, J & E. Catch up with you soon bud.
Talking of Appleyard's, which you were, I see they've got a sparkly new website. I also notice they're now selling the Benda Moto bikes. So, the question is, will you be out on a Benda in the near future?
Fantastic channel Dave, you're a true gentleman and wordsmith. I served 12 years in the MOD and l never met a Yorkshire man l didn't like . Thank you for a wonderful year.
I thought one of the best videos you've done was probably the most personal one. You were remembering your old dad and why you couldn't get there in time. I thought that vid was just so personal and really brings home the message that even when things are tough don't forget family. Wishing you a very happy Xmas and New year and looking forward to more videos in the new year. Take care. Best wishes.
Primarily I enjoy your verbal ramblings and home spun philosophies with the backdrop of beautiful Yorkshire countryside; mostly conducted on or about great motorcycles. I enjoy your ponderings over the woes of the world juxtaposed with the drama of weather and countryside. I read one of the comments which described your linguistic ability as that of a 'wordsmith'. I concur fully. Thank you Dave for the joy, wit and wisdom that bring into our lives with your blogging. Your call to kindness is a rallying call in these troubling times. God bless and seasons greetings from NL.
What drew me to your channel was the beautiful scenery and your straight talking, no nonsense style, and long may it continue. If you could add a little more detail of where you are riding ( i.e., flash a road map on the screen), that would help me plan a route. I don't generally watch bike review channels unless I'm in the market for a new machine, but as your taste in motorcycles is similar to mine, I do find your reviews interesting. Product reviews are also useful if the item is useful rather than a gimmick or just bling!
For my money Dave, I love the ride outs and a bit of a yarn, especially enjoy the scenery as an ex pat. I think that a bit of drone footage wouldn't go amiss particularly over places of significant interest. Congratulations on the channel growth; you're certainly doing something right. All the best.
Many thanks Dave for all the wonderful content this year. Wishing you & yours a very Merry (relaxed) Christmas and an ever expanding New Year for the channel. 🎅
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Thanks for the entertaining content. No need for any major changes. I rode the very same route today from (a very quiet) Pateley Bridge to the A59 then over t' Blubberhouses to Skipton and home to near Blackburn.
Well done Dave for growing the channel so much, we know how hard it is, frustrating but also highly rewarding. I tried a drone and to be honest it was such a pain, my experience sitting on a windy hillside trying to sync it to the phone which it often refused and then swearing when I crashed it into a tree. It was a gift that I eventually sold. For me it had a GoPro feeling to it, excellent when it worked. Anyway I'll be enjoying your channel in 2025 so thanks for a good year! Sean
1, Voge 2, Lewis 3,Gas Gas 4, Arai 5, Metzeler Karoo , well thats my go and thank you for the last years videos and a trip tp the Yorkshire wild is on the cards for next year , Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year
Hi TBW Thanks for the wonderful vids this year. Love them all watching them is nearly as good as surf fishing on the 90 mile beach at my special place at Loch Sport in East Gippsland Australia with my motor cycle riding mate from the 70s Merry Christmas to you and yours Kind Regards Geoff PS the older we get the faster we were
Dave just don't change the direction of your channel mate, it doesn't need fancy camera or anything else... I live in Germany and follow you to see the areas I miss in the UK....... Only thing I might ask is you go further afield to bring us more wonderful pictures of god's country... Happy Christmas and new year if you believe in the stuff... Otherwise happy winter solstice... All the best from Osnabruck.
Bit by bit I’ve come to really like your channel - now it’s one of my top few go-to channels, I like the commentary and the dales, I like the product reviews and value your comments - I’ve even bought an Aoochi! some tea shops would be good. Happy Christmas Dave!
As a fellow Yorkshiremen and biker I always find your ride out videos very interesting indeed as I get to see roads and scenery in our great county I didn't know existed (occasionally I do recognise roads and places you ride and visit) I also concur with many of our musings on life and will therefore continue to watch your channel and look forward to seeing all the new two wheeled toys you get to ride out on 2025.

Hello Dave. Merry Christmas to you and yours. I am happy with any type content that tickles your fancy to create. Your content is a bit different than that of some other providers and in my mind, variety is the spice of life. You would be hard pressed to produce any content that I wouldn't find enjoyable. Do what ever brings you enjoyment and our enjoyment will follow. BJ
Nice clear video. I have no idea if there are benefits from a de-cat pipe other than the loss of a bit of weight. Crash bungs do not work other than a static or very low speed tip over. I fully agree that you should refit the OE exhaust and keep the dresser bars while you take time to assess the options that might be available. Best wishes for the festive season and the New Year.

Always enjoy my morning ride across the moors Dave. So thanks for taking me along. Even watch some of your reviews, although I'm no longer in the market to buy a new Bike ...after 63 years my Motorcycling journey is reaching its end, swopping and changing anyway ...Feels very much like my 2014 Street Triple 675 will be my Swan Song....l will keep riding the Triumph until l can no long ''get me leg over''.... The tech now available is mind boggling, although l did say in an earlier Video there is a danger of 'cluttering ' up the bike with too much technology, to my mind anyway..... Over here in Spain my local Moto Guzzi dealer has gone, l suspect the KTM will follow shortly...its pretty depressing, or would be, if not for my local Alicante Royal Enfield dealer seemingly going from strength to strength, plus a few second hand dealers surviving the crisis....A massive one in Alicante is always packed with bikes and prospective customers.....Perhaps they will be the ones who survive. ...Feliz Navidad y Prospero Ano Nuevo Ride save

Having lived in Yorkshire, Goole and Howden 2008-10 and although having a BMW K100, I never came to terms with the weather to ride as much as I would have liked. Back in the Gold Coast Australia and having six bikes to ride including a Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 2024 based on your review, I find the opposite weather ie to hot, holds me back. Regarding de-cat pipes. From the Gov.uk website.The law Under the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations (Regulations 61(7) and 61A(3)) and the Road Traffic Act 1988 (Section 42) it is an offence to use on a road a vehicle which has been modified in such a way that it no longer complies with the air pollutant emissions standards it was designed to meet. The potential penalties are £1,000 for a car and £2,500 for a van, lorry or bus. Under the Road Traffic Act 1988 (Section 75) it is an offence to alter a vehicle in such a way that the use of the vehicle on a road would be unlawful. A person altering the vehicle (if they knew or believed that the vehicle would be used on the road) could be found guilty of an offence under the Act. Potential penalties are unlimited fines.
asking people what they want ? great , but when they get it they may be already fairly well done with their idea , = so keeping it mixed keeps it fresh , sometimes when you do video on travel or a roadtest i hate it so turn off ,,, but don't unsubscribe,,, i wait and cosy up to the next video i like , this applies to all the channels i watch , so i would say to all you that do this = including volcanic brown = who has had a lot of flack for just being nice ;; do what you want to do ;;

Hi Dave been watching you for a long time now and love your channel. Please could you do a stream covering the mopeds from the 70s like the Honda SS50 and FS1Es . Most of us would have started out our biking lives . The value of these bikes have gone crazy 5k for a Yamaha FS1E the same for the Suzuki AP50 . To many streamers only show the basics and don't really cover the bikes in detail. I am above the age of 64 now and love the old mopeds as so many of us do. 👍👍👍
Definitely, definitely add some follow me drone footage to the rider POV footage as this can only enhance the immersive experience. Slight correction on the Aoocci functionality, my preferred nav app is Calimoto and they don't support AA, so I'm restricted to Google Maps and still have to mount my phone too. Same goes for Spotify though that's less vital for me. Still well worth the punt for dash cams and TPMS.
I get Spotify through mine 👍🏻
@thebingleywheeler that's an odd inconsistency. I've got the C6Pro ... no remote with this version. AA brings up a selection of supported apps, Spotify isn't one of them. Something to iron out perhaps.
I’ll speak to them they’re very helpful

Regarding de-cat pipes. From the Gov.uk website.The law
Under the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations (Regulations 61(7) and 61A(3)) and the Road Traffic Act 1988 (Section 42) it is an offence to use on a road a vehicle which has been modified in such a way that it no longer complies with the air pollutant emissions standards it was designed to meet.
You’d have to prove the resultant emissions though 👍🏻
asking people what they want ? great , but when they get it they may be already fairly well done with their idea , = so keeping it mixed keeps it fresh , sometimes when you do video on travel or a roadtest i hate it so turn off ,,, but don't unsubscribe,,, i wait and cosy up to the next video i like , this applies to all the channels i watch , so i would say to all you that do this = including volcanic brown = who has had a lot of flack for just being nice ;; do what you want to do ;;
