Awesome advent calendar - thanks. There are 6 adults in our family so each can get their own calendar that also double as decorations - book, stars & village. I have also found a bookfolding advent calendar which is very pretty, as well as German Bells boxes that hang on the tree. I make some little gifts to go inside otherwise it can get quite expensive (25 x 6 sweeties) - although there are some very economical handmade choccie / sweetie recipes on RUclips one could make. A quilting friends made a xmas tree wall hanging with 25 little felt ornaments backed with velcro to go on the tree over the advent period - I'm sure us papercrafters can think of a way to make something similar.
Oh Maymay - these are wonderful! You have given all of us an early Christmas gift 🎁. Other demonstrators could take lessons from you to learn your teaching techniques - never too fast or too slow - always at just the right pace. Thank you for this tutorial and for including the Cricut instructions. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Maymay, thank you once again for your generosity to all of us. And a special thank you to your staff for helping you develop this wonderful file that you shared with us. You have once again out done yourself. Just when I think you can't come up with something we have not seen, you come out with this. This is totally adorable. I am so thankful to you and your outstanding staff. Please don't ever stop doing what you do....I don't know where I would be without you and your teaching me how to craft. I thank God for you, Vinnie, your boys, Amanda, Mandy, Amber, Jaimie, Michelle, Tamatha and the entire design team. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!
This is TOO CUTE for words! Love the village.... .even if no numbers, it's a darling village with the little boxes with lights... I can see just making the village with some trees set down in the snow.. with the colored tea lights. So awesome and you teach so well and so easy to follow! I want to do a pink and white village! Love the trees both ways too.. I can also see putting some glitter on, snowy roofs and little icicles hanging down!
Hello Maymay, I just wanted to let you know that this project is currently taking over my life!! Even though me and my partner are in our 30’s we still love advent calendars and I’m really enjoying making this for us. You don’t know it but you were the first youtuber I followed and I binge watched all of your Christmas card tutorials and have made so many of your projects as I personally think they are the best. Super clear instructions and just some beautiful makes! Thank you so much for the free printable, Amanda did a wonderful job. Thank you for all your inspiration, with love from the United Kingdom ❤️❤️❤️
MayMay this is the cutest project ever. Easy but time consuming. I would like to make one of these villages but I don't have the space to put it on. Your instructions are always so clear to understand, thank you for that.
Maymay and Mandy, a special thank you for all of your effort and time in creating these for us. And then the free files to make them...Wow! You are the best!!! I try not to say that I love crafting items anymore, but I have to say that I LOVE this count down to Christmas village idea! The snow falling and the lights were the perfect ambiance!
I love those. What an awesome ideal. Thank you Amber for all your hard work on these. Thank you Maymay for all you do for all of us out here. All of you are amazing , the whole team, thank you, big hugs and may God bless you all💞💓💕
You always amaze me, you are so patient when you make things, shows your true ambitions. I watch you and I think how can she remember every little step, but you do. Wish I had that gift as well. I try but before I know it, my hands are glued to the paper, embossing powder is flying like snow and my fingertips looks like I’ve laid them across an iron, so watching you, you’re so graceful in every way.I love Old Vinnie too, I’m originally from Mississippi (Gulfport) So I know all the sayings, that’s why I relate to you so well, hec, we are from the south we could be related. I could only wish...love y’all to pieces.Stay Sweet
You are just the sweetest person ever. Sharing your Christmas village for free??? Thank you so very much!!! Love the Advent village and will have to do that version this year. Thank you again!
Wow this is amazing!!! So amazing!! I love everything about it! Your box is genius, the idea of using 2 separate pieces of paper is great! That means we can also use our 6x6 paper pads too. I can not thank you ladies enough for sharing your files with us. I can’t even imagine the time it took Mandy to make the houses. So very sweet of her. Best project ever. Thank you SO much for sharing. The instructions were perfect 🎄❤️🎅🏻
Thank you. Thank you, Thank you to you and Amanda for doing all of the work and setting up the SVG and the PDF files for this great project. I can't tell you how much I have learned from you!
You had me at the beginning - the music and snow effects were great! Thank you Maymay for this project, easy instructions and the free files. This is one of my favorites you've made. Thanks also to Mandy for her hard work. Holiday Blessings to all! 🎄
I just made a small village for my granddaughter to play with! They are so cute and easy to make with the Cricut SVG you provided. FYI the SVG cannot be adjusted if uploaded through phone or iPad app. Must be done on computer but it worked perfectly on the computer. Your instructions are brilliant!
This is fantastic! Love this so much. I don't have space for it, but it would be a wonderful centerpiece for Christmas dinner on a small scale. Love love love it. Thank you for the simple process, .pdf files, and great explanation.
This is so stinkin' adorable. I love the trees, both ways, and the cute little houses. I kept expecting you to put a cross on the number 25 house and make it a church, though.. heh That would be so cute. I think the snow was just the perfect touch. Thank you so much for sharing. 💗💗💗
Here it is July 2021, and this is the CUTEST dang thing I've ever seen!! I am so hoping I can still get the pdf from your blog? I can easily make one of your darling cardstock paper packs work for this! 🎄
Amazing!! Kudos to all that hard work. Whether I'll ever have the nerve to do this advent project is yet to be determined , but I just wanted to say a quick thank you for all your great tutorials. I've obtained a lot of great ideas from watching you and I just did my first Papercrafting type show today. It was amazing and I sold a ton of stuff. I just love making these things and other people wanting them is such a great feeling.
Lovely village!! 😍😍 Thank you very much for sharing, for the PDF's, for the inspiration and dedication. 😙😙 "My madness has a point"... loved it! 😄😄 Have a wonderful weekend. 🤗

Excellent!! I've always had trouble making paper houses but this is amazing! And free!! Love the origami trees, I'll be making forests :D Thanks Maymay and friends
Thanks for the svg. Very gorgeous. I never thought to cut/score my paper on the opposite side using my Cricut. Sometimes I get sticky residue on my paper, does this mean I'm using the wrong mat or that my mat was too sticky?
"Somehow" I ended up with 2 of these in my stash!!! Hmmmmm! I wonder how that happened!!!! It happens to me too!!! Something about soo much stuff in my stash that I really don't know what I have!!!!!!
Hi! I can't seem to download the house svg. It keeps telling me its under a website format. Could someone please help me! I would love to create these little houses.
Thanks for sharing the SVG! When I down loaded the files and changed the cut lines to score I found there is still one cut line on the green house. HELP😊
I'm having trouble figuring out how to download/save the village file. Can anyone helP? When I click the link for the svg, it opens a green house in a new tab, but I don't know where to go from here. This is different than other svgs I've saved and used in Cricut Design Space.

Hey Maymay from Roxboro NC. Pam & Teresa

Hi! I can't seem to download the house svg. It keeps telling me its under a website format. Could someone please help me! I would love to create these little houses.
Did you use the scoring wheel on the maker or the scoring stylus? Thanks y’all :)
I have a question. How would you store these so that they are not crushed?
Thanks for sharing the SVG! When I down loaded the files and changed the cut lines to score I found there is still one cut line on the green house. HELP😊

A few vids back, u had mentioned a Christmas book, can u tell me what the title is, as I cant find that particular vid. Thank u

I'm struggling with it too Margaret...has anyone given you advice?
@@debbiebrink1427 not yet--still waiting. I've asked for help from my son who is a whiz with computers. He hasn't gotten back to me yet.

Where did you find the color changing tea lights? I have a hard time locating them! Thanks.
My sweet friend Austin and her mom brought them to me at Made It Con, they said they found them at Dollar tree. Hope that helps!
Amazon carries them too.
Don't know if I'm clicking on the wrong link, but when I go to the Blog and click on the SVG link I only get one house. Is there more than one link?
Hello, there is only one house in the SVG file, I will let the team know. Thanks, Tamatha Social Media CSR
Hi again, once you add the file to your cutting machine program the other houses will show. Thanks, Tamatha Social Media CSR
How do you download the svg file? I have a scan n cut
Go the the blog above download, save. upload to your cut and scan.
@@cpech2 thank you I figured it out. Had to do it a different way than normal. Thanks again😊
