I just made this ornament! I simply adore it! Even my teenage son was impressed! Excellent instruction. I added a 1 inch DSP square at the top of the ball, too. I plan on making these for all my voice and piano students and family members. Can't wait to get crafting. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Nancy, no I haven’t made one smaller, but I’ll try to and share measurements with you! It won’t be much smaller as I wouldn’t want the patterned paper squares to be too small 😊
I just did this in a smaller version so it's the same size as my baubles. So satisfying to do. Love the shape :-)

I did it again. This time with vellum paper, and put a tea light candle inside. Hung on the tree. Brilliant! I loooove this design! Thank you

Thank you! I don't have plans to create a box for this, just because of it's shape. It's probably better suited to be gifted in a gift bag instead!

Can this Christmas ornament be made smaller. Big enough to hold a few candies and hung on a tree? I tried to figure it out but no luck. I’m looking for a small ornament but don’t know how to measure it. I have made a few this size which I love. Can you help me.

Hi Nancy - that would be awfully small to work with for this ornament - especially for the patterned paper pieces, but I'll give it a try and let you know.
Just like to let you know that I was able to figure out how to make this ornament smaller,by using 8 and 1/2x 5" cardstock,( with 1" squares). Thanks for offering to help.
