I love this project!! Yes, great idea for a new baby, also great wedding gift, great to make for each school-age child, and great for reading the Bible in one year! There's so many reasons this would work for.
I'm currently dealing with cancer and I think a calendar like this could hold inspirational or spiritual quotes that have helped me stay positive and/or goals or milestones that I have accomplished throughout the year! Very cute calendar keepsake idea!
Quotes and a bit of journaling. Pictures of things/people you like. That's a great idea. Sorry about your cancer; I hope you have a good circle of friends/family. Nicole
This would be perfect for my daughter and her children. My son in law is deployed over seas with the army for one year. Good way for my daughter and grandkids to document special events each month and add pictures. They can gift it to my son in law when he comes home!!! Love this idea!!!
I think I would make a frame template to put on back then slide a picture down into it so you have the month on front and on back a picture framed on the back. When I get a chance I'm going to try this once I get the stamp set if it doesn't sell out til I get paid. I love your ideas since I've been watching your channel. Your a great teacher and when you team up with hubby it's really entertaining. I am mesmerized and don't want to stop watching. I hope you understand what I mean. Thank you 💜
I am loving this calendar/album idea. You always bring us the cutest things to make. I was thinking what a wonderful gift for a newlywed couple. They could always look back at their first year of marriage. It was be great for the pet lover who (like me) takes way too many pictures of their puppy dogs. Thank you so much for this video. One of my favorites!! I can't wait to make mine. YOU ARE AMAZING MAYMAY!!
This is a great idea! I am going to make matching calendars for me and my craft Buddy and then we can capture our adventures for each month. We go to a craft retreat every January so we can bring them and decorate the albums together. I think this may have to be annual gift! Thanks Maymay! You are so clever!
First year of marriage. For Josh and Taylor😊. So many neat things . First year of school. Date night every month for a year. I will be making plenty of these.
Love this idea. I have the smaller calendar stamp set, going to get the larger one. I would put family/extended family/friends/ birthdays, anniversaries, etc. on the back of each month instead of a photo, as a reminder of special days each month. Also make one for family members with our family’s special days on the back for each family member as a Christmas gift 💝.
I just bought the small calendar stamp set. Can't wait to use to make one for me! I like the easel card calendar you used the "I love to Craft" papers to decorate with. I almost bought that paper, but decided I need to use up what I have, first. Thanks for putting this stamp set out!! Great idea!! ❤
Great idea, Maymay! Thanks for the tutorial and the larger calendar stamp! I've been thinking of doing something like this for a few years now, but was never sure how to make the easel and using the rings on top. The magnet closure is also brilliant! I like how your "brain" works! LOL!!! Just thinking, can you imagine if Brenda made one of these how fun and full it would be?!!! :)
Recipe of the month calendar, couples 1st year of marriage, children's 1st year of school...my daughter still takes a picture of her kids every morning before school.
That IS a stash buster and what an awesome idea to use this as a photo album. I love the idea of baby's first year as a standing photo album. You continually amaze me!
Mayday you did it again! You are such an amazing creative person💕. You and you side kick and the whole crew are the best❤. Thank you all for everything you all contribute to make these videos happen.
Wow Maymay this is genius. It’s a 2 4 1 project! A calendar & a mini album all in one. You are SO amazing to come up with this design. Love this so much. Thank you SO much for sharing. 📖❤️ 📆
You could do a monthly self achievement or accomplishment calendar and at the end of the year you could look back at everything you accomplished and it would be a feel good calendar and it would be so nice!
For ease and to save time you could leave one side of the calendar unattached and use it as a pocket to slip your photo inside and then maybe put a little heart or signifier on the date on the calendar that the picture was taken :)
This is awesome, Maymay! I plan to use mine to document Doug’s and my year together. Not concentrating on what he can’t do but celebrating what he can. Thanks for always coming up with new ideas. Hugs and blessings.
Hi Maymay, when I retire I want to move south and work for you. From your videos, it sounds and looks like a fun time is had while working. ❤️ We stopped at your store on the way home from vacation in December but it was on a Saturday. Someday I’ll make it during the week. God Bless.
Love this!! You could have also made the calendar price a “booklet” so you could use a few photos for the month. Could also make your journaling spot on the back a pocket! Thank you for the inspiration!! 🙂
This is a wonderful idea. I love how you made it to turn into a photo album. A friend of mine just had a baby in December, it's their first, so I think that was such a lovely idea you had for the "first year" calendar/album. Brilliant. 💗💗💗 Thank you!
I’m making one for my son and daughter-in-law from September to September. They are having a baby this month so they are going to use this as his monthly milestones for his first year.
One year through the Bible scripture journal. At the end of the month do an art journal on top of the calendar about the scripture from the month that spoke to you for that month and a journal on the back about how the entire month of scripture affected you.
Love this Maymay :) Something awesome as usual. I have to agree with you about having both machine and punch boards as well as die cuts and hand punches. Sometimes it's convenience, sometimes it's effects. Thank you for sharing this. I think my daughter in law would love this in her office at Universal!
I am seeing this for the first time and I love the tab punch board tip... I am like you, every time they come out with a new punch board or we r memories tool I think I have to have it! But I had no idea there was a perpetual calendar stamp set. Are they still available?
I think I would add a a page to the front. Just a blank page, maybe describing the album;"baby's first year", that way you would have the journal page next to the picture and not behind it. Just thought I would throw that out there.
I decided I would do my 'Resurgence Video' into crafting, as a process video. I finally decided, and scripted it in December, but, was working out the craft, and preparing,... the video was, "My Assembly Line" lol... TYFS! (Somewhere missed the larger set, gonna have to order that one!)
Hi Maymay...awesome idea! I'm getting a Cinch next week (late Xmas gift) and I was thinking this would be great to bind using it. Since I know you have one already, would I need to adjust the overall size to accommodate for the Cinch binding at the top or would there be enough space in your existing design?
I love this ... I am gonna try to make this myself. I don’t have the punch board or anything that will make the tab so I’ve gotta figure out how to make the tab . Thank you for sharing this MayMay . Have a wonderful day. God bless you and your family.
You could use your Envelope Punch Board if you have one. You could trace it from an actual file folder and keep the original to trace the other ones. Or you could just trace it by hand with a pencil and cut it with your scissors. Not sure how that would go but you could try with half a label punch, preferably a fancy one. - Nicole
Am going to make this but i have a question. Is the paper you have chosen that is patterned paper or card stock and if so is it double sided card Stock?
You are so amazingly ng my Lady. Super great project. I have a grandson a couple weeks younger than Addie, My first, my only. This would be great for me to have since my daughter has her own monthly pics of the baby. Tyfs. Hug!
I think I'd do it so that you can flip the calender up and have the photo on the underside of the tab card and then another (slightly smaller) white card on your backing paper for journaling on. Seems a shame to cover up your stamping (love those stamps!)
I loved your idea. I would have liked if you would have considered that not everyone had these tools and then showed other ideas of making the same things. ex. the tabs
Hello, I would love to see you make a DVD holder it of cardboard to put on a dresser top. I have so many storage bends with 📀 on my dresser taking up space..
I love the calendar / photo album idea. Is the calendar stamp set the newest one coming out in the stamp club? I want that set. I signed up with the stamp club Dec 24,2018 and recieved the leopard print stamp set. I was trying to to see if I was set up to get the next one cause I couldn't remember if I used paypal or not and it don't look like I did. If it is not the next one you are sending in the club how can I order it from you? Love your video's. I'm hooked. Thank you so much for all the awesome videos. Hope you have an amazing day.
Angela Courtney hello, to see if you are set up for the recurring stamp club subscription please email info@maymaymadeit.com and we can look at that for you, thanks Tamatha Social Media CSR
Maryann Stahl hello that is the Crop-a-Dile, it is a mega tough hole punch that can punch thru chipboard, leather, thick cardstock plastic, metal many other materials and it is also an eyelet setter. Here is the link for that in the store: bit.ly/2F4UloW Thanks Tamatha Social Media CSR
HELP! 😮I did this project because I loved it. However, you said card stock, and on the instructions, you said chipboard, and my magnets will not stick any ideas
Hi this video will explain how to use the stamp and here is the original video to help you: ruclips.net/video/XWQ5iBv2iIo/видео.html Thanks Tamatha Social Media CSR

Love this idea!!!
My daughter is deployed, I’ll make one for her of all of my grandsons activities. That way she can reflect back on it when she gets home.
You can leave the calendar, add dots to the important dates and add a page for each event! 💖🌞🌵😷
Great idea for the expectant parents to put Dr apt notes sonogram pics and pic of Mom how big she is getting each month
It would be great for a school year too. Then at their graduation put them all together and give as a gift to remember their school years.
I think I would make a frame template to put on back then slide a picture down into it so you have the month on front and on back a picture framed on the back. Planning wedding, baby, birthdays, anniversaries, what to plan for the summer. Lots of things, this is a cute idea

My secret pal at work has a new puppy. I think I’ll make her one to chronicle the puppy’s first year🐶
Perfect!
What a nice idea
Get a small paw print stamp to add embellishments on certain days
That IS a stash buster and what an awesome idea to use this as a photo album. I love the idea of baby's first year as a standing photo album. You continually amaze me!
Terrific idea! Add a label to the front and boom done!!
Mayday you did it again! You are such an amazing creative person💕. You and you side kick and the whole crew are the best❤. Thank you all for everything you all contribute to make these videos happen.

So awesome. I definitely see a couple of ways to use this... baby moments, school events, monthly birthday memories, etc.
Love this!! You could have also made the calendar price a “booklet” so you could use a few photos for the month. Could also make your journaling spot on the back a pocket! Thank you for the inspiration!! 🙂

I have a grab baby coming in August, so I’m going to get busy on making a ‘Baby’s First Year’ calendar/memory book! Now to find the PERFECT paper!
I’m making one for my son and daughter-in-law from September to September. They are having a baby this month so they are going to use this as his monthly milestones for his first year.
What about making the calendars be pockets and put memorabilia and or photos in the pockets?
You can make it as directed and add a pocket page too! 💖🌞🌵😷
Love your explanations! What a special gift for a baby shower! I’m doing this! THX!
One year through the Bible scripture journal. At the end of the month do an art journal on top of the calendar about the scripture from the month that spoke to you for that month and a journal on the back about how the entire month of scripture affected you.
I love love this idea. I need to get all of my supplies together and rewatch it
Very beautiful calendar. Thanks for sharing 👍🏽
Baby album is brilliant! I am getting this now since my grand baby is due in April! Ty for the idea. Ugh soooo in love now.

Love, love, love this idea Maymay! And everyone else has had amazing ideas on how to use this as well. Love it so much! Hugs, Brenda
Omg so inspired! Photo frame on the back for displaying when closed and standing!
Genius!! How about a “first year of our marriage” theme??
Awesome idea! I think I’ll make a few and have them ready!
Love the two foe one. Turned out really nice. Thanks for sharing.
Very very cute project. I may give this a try. Thank you for the detailed instructions and the inspiration. Wishing you a super week. Hugs Susan

Love, love, love how your brain works!!!!!
Am going to make this but i have a question. Is the paper you have chosen that is patterned paper or card stock and if so is it double sided card Stock?
Maymay, I'd love to see what your book looks like when completed next year.
You are so amazingly ng my Lady. Super great project. I have a grandson a couple weeks younger than Addie, My first, my only. This would be great for me to have since my daughter has her own monthly pics of the baby. Tyfs. Hug!
Yippee! Been wanting you to revisit every tool from We are Memory Keepers!
Wonderful idea! Using for baby’s first year or really just an annual “2019” album.
Another inspiration for me! Thinking of presenting it to my friend. Thanks MM😉

Home renovations! I'm guessing ours, if/when we start, will take about a year.
Just brilliant maymay! Wow. Xoxo
I loved your idea. I would have liked if you would have considered that not everyone had these tools and then showed other ideas of making the same things. ex. the tabs
LOVE THIS!! I can't wait to order this stamp set!! Well, I have to wait till payday, so I hope you don't sell out!!

If you were going to do a weight loss journey or some sort of transformation journey, a one year calendar would be amazing!
Love it! Can't wait to try this
i love love love this!!!!! thank you for sharing :)
this would be great for a wedding shower gift. A couples first year of firsts.
Bible sayings you can choose to uplift you
A monthly faith journal!
You could also put more pictures on the back where you are journaling
Fabulous idea tfs hugs jayne xxx xxx
Maymay, how should I adjust the size for the smaller calendar that I have?
Love it Maymay
Suggestion so people don't go and buy another trinket you can do it with the envelope punch board
Since I have a Scan n Cut 2 now, how about a tutorial on that tab portion? No pressure...😁
This is a must have!
Awesome project.
This is a great idea! 😍
Really cute. Will do this one
Great project!
Awesome! Thank you for sharing 🤗
So very cute!
Oh my gosh this is soooooooo cute:) I love the idea of making it a baby shower gift. The only thing missing is the year?
Do you know if you will be restocking the calendar stamp set?

@@tamthaluehrs ok. I will thank you
I forgot to ask about your paper hole punch .... What all does it do? Crazy big and haven't seen one in a store before.

Love the idea...but, I don't understand how to use the stamp ....Is there a video that explains how to us that stamp before I invest?
Hi Gretchen, I was wondering too but Maymay explains in the video starting about 17:25 or so. It made so much more sense to me after I saw that.
Hi this video will explain how to use the stamp and here is the original video to help you:
