I don’t do paper crafts…I’ve never done anything with paper. You were recommended on my RUclips and I could listen to you talk all day long. I watched the entire video and now I want to go buy all the card-stock and watch your videos! Beautiful work!
I made paper crafts for my girls at work for years and years. I went to one coworkers house because she was going to do my hair and she had a cabinet full of everything I’ve ever given her
For anyone watching in the UK. Since our standard A4 paper is just over 11.5” long, I make the scores at 3”, 9” and 9.5” so it’s slightly thicker and you could add more pockets and pages 🥰
I made this book yesterday and it was so much fun. I give it for someone who has a new dog. I put one fold more so 12 photos - for every month one- is inside. A Year in the live of the dog. I hope she will enjoy this wounderful book. Thank you for sharing this projekt :)
I can't wait to get started on a folio for my daughter and new son-in-law for some of their favorite wedding photos to place on their coffee table. Their wedding invitation was handmade from fern sun prints. They were married in the redwoods surrounded by, you guessed it, redwoods and thousands of ferns, so imagine my surprise when I found designer series paper with various sun prints of ferns and other wild forest foliage in blues/white & grays/white and a coordinating stamp set and dies! Thank you, Maymay, for such a nice idea and instructions. I'm really going to enjoy this project.
Hi there, back again at the 2 1/2 minute mark to watch gluing it all together. I wrote down all the measurements for cutting and scoring on my 3rd time watching, but not matter what my brain can not grasp how to glue without watching it. Thanks so much as I make another one of these for my dear niece in AZ
Love that photos can be installed without any cropping!! Love process videos...watching skilled hands work and listening to narrative tips and tricks makes learning new techniques so easy!! Thank you!
MayMay!!! I LOVE this Folio! Easy and Useful, its just the right size, thank you for all of your sharing..im finally making things I like....Its so fun to listen to your antics too...More Please!!
MayMay, I. Glad I found you again. My cell went crazy and had to get a new blank one. It was hard to remember all the crafters and DIYer’s that I followed. Seeing you again, is like opening a Christmas present from under the Christmas on Christmas morning and it is a gift you had wanted forever, and you know that your parents would not be able to afford such a beautiful “gem” of a Christmas present.
I saw this and thought it would make a great present for son and fiancé for first Christmas in their new home! Am making one now for a cousin who is going through some rough times. Am putting photos of happier times in the folio for her. I so enjoy your crafting but your heart for God is what keeps me coming back!! Thanks to you, Vinnie and all of your staff!
Niiice! Easy measurements to remember. Just hope I remember how to adhere it together! Will have to watch that again, after I cut the sheets, then again after I score them.
I‘m loving these folios and plan to sign up for the exchange! I am on a spending freeze right now, but this paper pad may make me break that! The design Maymay called “sweater” is actually a form of counted embroidery called “Pulled Work.” You can see the holes formed by inserting the needle in between various threads of the fabric (linen usually) then tightening the stitch by pulling on the embroidery thread in the needle, thus creating a hole. Pulled work was my favorite counted thread embroidery because I have a tendency to pull hard on each stitch, which doesn’t look good for most stitches, except pulled work!
Addictive! I’ve already made 3 as gifts. 1 floral, 1 wedding and 1 Christmas . I’ve just started watching your videos and find them very informative and creative. Thank you for sharing!
This will be my first project since my son bought me a cricut for Christmas and I know I'm going to love it... My sister in law is having a baby so I'm thinking of doing a newborn to 1st year of life folio....💜
I enjoy paper crafting. I make a lot of greeting cards. I've never tried anything like this but it looks very interesting. Thanks so much for sharing. I have a new great grandson that I would love to make this for his mother. Possibly even for the grandmother who is my daughter. What a great idea.
This is the cutest thing I have ever seen. It has definitely inspired me to go use up more of my paper ,and for that I am so grateful I came across your video. Thank you so much for sharing!!
I just made one of these, and also forgot to round those corners on the flap before assembly! I cut12x12 card stock down to 8.5x11 for the base. Before cutting, I determined the grain of the paper and made sure to cut it so that the scored lines would follow the grain. Doing this results in crisp lines when burnishing (instead of uneven/cracking). A fun project, for sure!
These are so cute. I’m making mine with the pictures put inside from my collection of photos through the years. You are amazing at showing exactly how to make these. Thanks MayMay. 🙂
When I saw you make these I feel in love with them. Cannot wait to make them. Have already ordered and received the magnets and the stamp set. Thank you for your videos. This is a great one, along with the first one where you introduced them to us.
Loved this! Made one as a congratulations card for coworkers to sign and as a keepsake for the recipient. Making for birthdays and graduations! Thanks so much. I’ve shrunk mine down from 8.5 to 6. Just love it. One of the few things I can make that gives the desired effect! You’re a blessing !!!
I've already left a comment when I first saw this video and I've watched it a few times since. I made a couple of mistakes to begin with when gluing down the middle part be that's what papercrafting is, it's a learning journey. I love listening to your voice it's so loving and honest, and I think you are a wonderful teacher. I've made about 8 now, only decorated about 3. Just going to do some more now. One thing that's occurred to me is that not everyone will be putting 4x6 photos in, so I didn't want to permanently stick down the place mat for the photo so I've used repositionable tape runner/sticky dots just so the recipient has a choice. Again thank you for sharing 🥰
Absolutely beautiful, MayMay!!! I love how simple and easy to follow your instructions are. Such a perfect gift for any reason. Tfs and God bless! 💗😊✝️
Hi. I'm new to your channel and I must say I'm so very happy I found you! This folio is such a great craft and honestly it's So Stinkin' Cute! They could be made for any holiday or special occasion. How delightful it would be to go ahead and fill with photos and send to grandparents, especially if they're in a nursing facility. Choose a topic such as Summer and complete one for each of your children to remember what they did that year. They'd also make lovely gifts for those special people in our lives. For example, we have the nicest mail lady and it would make her day to receive one. So many reasons to make a bundle of these. Thank you for sharing this idea. I appreciate your careful step-by-step instructions. Enjoy the day. Karen in Missouri 💚💛💛💚
This folio is gorgeous! Love the paper & what you did with it! And a useful item to have as well! I will be making many ... thanks for sharing. Hugs from Ireland.
Maymay, a friend recommended you to me. I just made my FIRST folio using this video, It's baby boy themed and it cute as all get out! Next I am going to tackle your 49 and Market Mixed up album in a wedding theme. My friend may have created a monster! Oh, and I'm using your 80 Christmas cards video for my Christmas cards this year too! And, I subscribed to your channel!
You are so right. I sat down and made 4 in a row...these are an amazing gift. Also, I have so many gorgeous 8x8 paper pads so I thought will 1/4" make that much difference? Nope they are lovely. Thanks for another amazing make MayMay!!
I do a lot of freehanded collage workers art and I'm telling you this is just as informative as something specialized to what I do with paperwork as decorative or fine art and trust me I'll be making some of these come Christmas
I have made other folios - I have a stack of them, but I really like how you show where the photos go so clearly. Until now I thought folk would receive one of these and think « what do I do with this, and can I be bothered ? »
I have made nine of these!! My sweet husband ordered me magnets! I now have about 6 with out covers waiting on those magnets! Y’all know what people are getting for Christmas!! 🤣
This so adorable! This would be so cute as small gifts for some of my secret sisters at work and church. Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial! - Lynn
You know what would be cool to put in the 4x6 photos? Instead of gluing down the stamped piece of paper, you could add photo corners to the piece of paper and then glue the corners down. So essentially, the photo corners would be in right spot to add the photos and use the piece of paper as guide to use over and over. Hope that makes sense lol. This was such a cute idea and could make this as a monthly photo collection kind of thing, super cool!
I love these and can't wait to make some so I can put photos of my gorgeous granddaughters in. Thanks for sharing MayMay,they are so adorable. Love from Perth Western Australia. 💜
This is gorgeous!!! I love it May May, I just did my template following your instructions, planning on making a bunch, an excellent gift. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us.
It's just paper - Go for it - it's fun to try - if it doesn't turn out just right, take notes and try again. 🙂 "Practice Is The Best Of All Instructors"
I LOVE this! I would have made the same paper choices you made. I thought the yellow sweater was too bold until you added the embellishments. You could put a photo on the back for 11 photo spots. And, I don’t mind the magnets showing at all. Really gorgeous! ❤️ Shirley
I totally love these! My daughter is going on a trip soon and I want to make her one to put her pictures in. Plus I can make more for gifts for people for later. So simple and you can add to it or adjust it to make the binding wider if you want for a thicker album to maybe add another page. You are very talented! Keep up the great work!
This card is gorgeous! I can see so many uses for this. With a couple of graduations coming up, I am going to make this for my parents as a memory keepsake of their grandchildren! Thank you!! ❤️🇨🇦
OMG Maymay WOW Girl your Folios are Beyond Stunningly beautiful and down right Gorgeous!! Bet you could do this blindfolded....hey wait....this might be .... NO WOULD be a fabulous challenge!! It feels good to create things. Stress relief. You may become addicted.
I so agree...your voice is very soothing and straight to the point of what needs to be done!
Careful, that’s how we all start, lol
I made paper crafts for my girls at work for years and years. I went to one coworkers house because she was going to do my hair and she had a cabinet full of everything I’ve ever given her

I love how you don't overthink your pages! I get so stuck! The mystery cuts are going to help me create a bunch more! Sandy ❤

1st time I've seen a craft like this. Simply beautiful.
A pretty piece of hand made lace and a tiny bow on the front. I have never watched this being done before. Really great, lovely !!
That paper is absolutely gorgeous. I love listening to your thought process in making this project. Love this project.
Good night, this is just beautiful!
I made two of these since your last video. I love how simple yet perfect the gift will be.
This will be my first project since my son bought me a cricut for Christmas and I know I'm going to love it... My sister in law is having a baby so I'm thinking of doing a newborn to 1st year of life folio....💜
Thank you for this simple but awesome folio! I've created my first folio following you! Now I'm hooked!

I so appreciate the way you kept the video so clear and concise. The extra editing and planning makes the project sing! Thank you.
I thought of maybe using some chipboard frames but only glue three sides so the can slide the photo in
I like that idea. 🙂
Absolutely beautiful, MayMay!!! I love how simple and easy to follow your instructions are. Such a perfect gift for any reason. Tfs and God bless! 💗😊✝️
Great way to give photos as a gift. Love this. Thank you.
