Middle of the night in my hospital bed and I came across this inspirational tutorial. When I get home this is the first thing I am going to make,.......one for pictures of my furbabies, the last of which has just crossed the rainbow bridge and one for my gorgeous baby granddaughter. Many thanks xx
Chris I hope you are feeling better. Sorry for the loss of your fur baby. (I lost my cat Bob last week; it is so very hard.) This is a great project to lift your spirits and enjoy and share pictures of your grandchild.
My three sisters have grandchildren and I'll make these for them. I love this so much and will make a prayer book and a reading list book for myself. Thank you SO VERY MUCH! MUCH LOVE. ❤
What a great idea...I have a grandson who just graduated from a fire academy and I plan to make one for all the pictures taken to celebrate our family's newest emergency responder! :)
Hi MAYMAY, we're all entitled to our opinion but I don't know why anyone would give you a thumbs down. What a great idea. You're right. Every time I see someone they pull out the cell phone. This was easy to follow and quick to make. I'm Grammy and I can't wait to try this. TFS. 😘
Hi there, I am following you from Germany, and I love your brilliant easy ideas for mini albums, especially how to use up 6x6 papers, that indeed are left over often. I made many mini albums recently for birthday presents, printed out photos from my mobile phone referring to the life of the person, using some of your great ideas for pockets and embellishments. Thanks a lot for sharing. Take care, Marika from Heidelberg, Germany.
There is an awesome lady at my church that is always bringing me gifts and a lot of them are personalized gifts that she has ordered just for me! I have racked my brain trying to figure out what I can do for her cause she is one of those who has everything so what do you get for someone like that??? Well, now I know what I can do and it will be handmade from me!! I can personalize it for her!! Thank you for the idea! I can't wait to make it for her now!!
I just made one and I love it. My BFF is doing a 12 step workshop so I made mine (for her) with 12 pockets. It will allow her to put inspirational thoughts into each pockets as she completes the 12 steps. I’m so glad I found this, it is perfectly timely. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh that’s such an awesome idea! I have tons of mini stock paper, I think I will make one for a grocery/to do list. Awe you could get your grand baby to draw a cute lil picture in there for you as she gets older or trace hands 🥰
Love this as it is quick, easy & great for 6x6 pads. I also can see doing the same with larger paper pads so as to gift to those who are not tech savvy so only print 4x4 photos! Thanks for sharing!
Tiny back story...my reward for going to the wretched gym is that I get to watch craft videos while I'm stuck on the machines. I was watching yesterday and this video came on. It totally made my night! I loved your stories and watching you make this great project that I fully plan on replicating for everyone in my life! Thank you so much!
I love this!!! I have sooooo many 6x6 paper pads...not many double sided tho...i can make it work by gluing the white sides to each other and attaching an extra piece on the front and back where it would be plain white...will probably make the covers a bit more durable too...thanks for sharing this project...i have a feeling I'm gonna have like 20 of these guys by tomorrow! 😁
I go by GRAMS too...my girls thought it was not a going to work but the first time my grandson called me “Grams” my heart was bursting...it sounds so cute 😍 I have 6 grandkids The oldest is 4 do yeah it’s hard for them to say but it’s FUN!! YOUR brag book is perfect ❤️❤️❤️🎉🌈 Blessings
Never herd grams before , not in north east uk anyway it’s nana, nan , grandma or granny we don’t say mom or pops neither its funny how we use different words for different family members around the world. I call my mother mam but its mainly mum in uk , love this little book i might get the kids to make one to pop lockdown memories in. Best wishes and stay safe . I am subscribing right now x
Aloha May May, watched this today & made a 4 by 6 album with hinges using double sided paper and the pockets measure 2 inches. 4 by 6 pictures will fit with a tiny trim. Congrats on being a gram--it's a whole new and exciting season. Mahalo for all that you share. gramma chiyo
Love the simplicity of this little book. I'm thinking about going a step further and laminating one of the pages and attach it around the outside. It will be better protected inside my purse that way. Thanks for a great tutorial!
I want to thank you for your videos because they have got me through some tough times. I love you voice cadence, it’s very calming and easy to learn from. I’ve learned so much!
Since I watched you make this I have made about 4 of these. They are so much fun to make you can add tags, small butterflies, anything you like. Thanks so much for this tutorial.
This is the most adorable project and I can't wait to get in my craft room later to make one. And the decorations that one can do is endless. Too cute...TFS!!
I’ve been reluctant to sign up for a monthly club membership by any of the companies out there until I saw your scripture stamp one. So thankful that it was something I could afford. God bless, Maymay!
Adorable and so easy!!! I think its perfect for so many things. I have tons of those 6x6 paper pads and this will make an awesome book to place in my guest room. I can even personalize them to whoever is staying over! thank you:)
I love it Maymay! I needed something thin to fit in my purse that will protect my pictures that I want to carry with me! This is perfect for that! Thank you so much for sharing! I might even laminate the cover.💕
Love this idea. I'll be making at least one for my granddaughter, age 2. I wanted to be called Grandma when she was born, but as you said, difficult for her to say. So when she was a few months old, I switched to Nana. I like it better and she learned to say it very quickly.
Love it. I have that paper pack in 12x12 but think I will make this size. That was a good tip about trimming off the hole by measuring it at 6 inches. I also have one granddaughter who is 1 1/2 years old.
OMGosh this is perfect!!!! Something little I can give my mom. I'm gonna put some little photos on the outside of each little pocket. She'll adore it, thanks so much! Great video!!!!!!! AND so excited to use up some of my metric ton of pattern paper!!!!!!
I adore this! We make little gifts for Secret Pal and Christmas gift exchange for my calligraphy guild. I can see adding some calligraphy throughout, personalizing it, and challenging the recipient to add some more. I think it would make a nice gift!!
I was thinking the same thing, like a Santas Helpers to keep everything sorted out nice and easy access. I may even add tags with people's name on it for easy access.
Hi Maymay, Love this I will have to try it. But will have to probably try the 12x12 size since i have 14 grandkids and one on way I will need the room 🥰 and make the 6x6 for my mom. Thank you for Your great videos and tutorials 💗
What a great idea! I’ve been changing over to 8x8 albums & have been trying to figure out what to do with all these 6x6 stacks. And this looks FUN & uncomplicated! Yay!
