Oh, I love it! Instead of the center fold of the card holder, I think, I would add a 1/4" - 1/2" score to the right & left of the center to make it more like a book fold. I can't wait to try this. So beautiful.
These would be great for any occasion that you want to make someone's heart smile. I think adding in a book of stamps could make it perfect for someone who can't get out to the post office. Hugs and blessings
I was thinking the same thing. A sheet of the USPS “Love” stamps would be a great addition, and this year they came out with a really pretty floral pattern on them.
I would have done the same as you, just rounded the two corners. The word you were looking for at the beginning is casing. That's what people use to hold elastic in place when dress making.
Your timing couldn’t be better. I am making cards to give to my 23 and 25 year old daughters for Easter. What a perfect way to present and hold the cards. Thank you May May! Wish I had the monograms too.
Love this Maymay! I am going to try the project. You are Amazing! Your going to have to change you web site to Amazing Maymay Thanks for sharing Amazing Maymay!
This! Wowza!! ❤ I truly cannot wait to make a ton of these for gifts. So beautiful, so elegant. Thank you so much for bringing this fantastic project out of your archives!!
Another idea, especially if you did the half inch spine and a 1/4 - 1/2” gusset on the flaps, I’d cut between the pockets, maybe with a slight angle which would also create more space in the pockets.
Could you put a fold in the back? I understand that you wanted to use the wreath on the front. Maybe it would work as a fussy cut. Any way just an idea. It was beautiful as always. You do such lovely work!!!
Hi Maymay...This is one of my Favs. I have made many but Now I will make with New style! Thanks so much. Happy Easter to you, yourstaff and wonderful family.
Hi Maymay, this is such a beautiful project! Thank you for the clever ideas you used with the gusset and the ribbon in the casing. I will definitely be using these methods. 😊

When I am putting foam on an item that large I will usually use craft foam to give a firm backing under the whole piece.
Another idea would be to put double sided tape on the open flap of the envelope so the recipient could perl the backer off when they send the cards.
I’m glad you rounded only two corners and the outside only distressing is perfect😊
I LOVE it! Will be perfect for the quilt cards I'll be making next month! Thanks for sharing!

I would have done the same as you, just rounded the two corners. The word you were looking for at the beginning is casing. That's what people use to hold elastic in place when dress making.

I am not great with rub-ons, but with 49 and Market’s I look like a professional. She has some magic formula that makes it easy.
