Whilst I have been watching, this lady has had 879 views but only 217 likes, I find that really sad for her, it’s a good video and she explains things really well, more likes please people, if you watch it, then like it 😊
I've had a cardmaking business for 23 years and I have never seen even half these ideas! I couldn't subscribe fast enough. This is my first time on your channel and I can't wait to see your other "ways to use" videos. This is my favorite kind of crafty content. Great job!
You will be so happy you signed up. I am a bit behind in watching this month due to life but I think from when I jumped on board, I have seen all her older posts. This lady is so full of creativity.
I was going to watch just long enough to have a cup of coffee because I need to clean house for company. But, I couldn't stop watching. I even took screen shots and added notes. You always inspire me, and I thank you, but I really must get back to housework.
Honestly, you have become my new obsession. I need to start writing all these techniques down! Every idea is new to me, even though I have been paper crafting for years! You are amazing!
The indented green leaf panel is beautiful 😊 The gold embossed flowers are amazing! The stamped butterfly card is an idea I’ve never seen, but beautiful. Looking forward to seeing some cards made from these panels. Thank you for the great video.
This is my first time watching one of your videos. I am so glad that I happened upon you! Love the video and your ideas! I will be watching more of your videos. Thank you!
I thought I would point out that my absolute fave technique in this video is the laminating paper with glitter inside. I just happen to have a package of it begging to be used! Just in time for doing my Christmas cards!
❤these. Aluminum foil, and all👍.would like to try using material. I have alot because I use to do quilting. Still so,but not as much since retired for my job as sewing teacher and working for a sewing machine company. And doingcard making that I said I'd never get into.. 😂 Love all your ideas. Have saved this video too Thanks for Sharing.
Just holy moly 😳 My brain hurts from all the ideas. I'm definitely saving this to watch later. Does your brain ever shut down? 😂 Thank you ever so much for filling my brain. You are one amazing woman. 😊
Brilliant video with loads of ideas. Agree with a previous comment though, give a thumbs up. There has to be at least one idea everyone of us can use. This must have taken quite some time to put together, so thank you Natalie.
I've been making cards for 35 years. This is a fantastic instructional, one of the best embossing videos I think I've ever seen! Well done! Just liked and subscribed!❤🇨🇦
Great ideas. The glitter in the laminating pouch was a new one to me. Can't wait to try that. I did a thing I saw with Tracie Fox. She used the foil lids from contact lenses I think, and embossed them. I did it with the peel off foil lid from some cat food (not aluminum can lids, foil lids). I glued them to scrap cardstock first. I plan to grunge them up and use in some mixed media.
You put so much effort in making this video♥️ Thank you so much! Your video’s are an encyclopedia of technique ideas. So useful! Congrats already that you have so many views in such a short time. Enjoy and in the mean time take care of yourself. 🥰👍
Natalie, thank you very much for sharing your expertise and invaluable experience to all of us watching your RUclips channel. Whether the viewer is new to this art form or has years of experience, you always share technical and design information that can change up everyone’s cards. Thank you so much!
This is the best video I've ever seen using embossing folders. Very informative and you explained everything so well it was easy to understand. Thank you so much. Can't wait to try all of these techniques. 🥰
Another FABULOUS compilation video!!! I consider myself an experienced crafter but I always find some tip or technique I have not tried or something I have forgotten over time. The great thing about your videos is that ALL levels of crafters will find something of interest and inspiration from you. Many thanks for all you do! ❤ PS: Excellent closeup shots of each card panel!
Thank you! I have watched dozens of videos on embossing and yours is by far the best and most comprehensive one I have seen. You have my head spinning with ideas. My favorite was the one with embossing ink. You could also use Perfect Pearls or mica powders. I have subscribed to your channel and will watching more of your videos.
I have had the most fun trying these ideas you have presented so well😊❤l love the look of embossed papers and what a great lot of ideas to try. Thank you l look forward to more tutorials
Another tip for stopping vellum from cracking in an embossing folder is to put a piece of medium weight card behind the vellum inside the folder. Some really great ideas in this video.. I always look forward to when you post! :-)
I have thoroughly enjoyed this program. Wow I’ve been doing art for my whole life more than 50 years. I’ve been a teacher, but I am new to Junk Journal and Card making an embossed card things like that. This was absolutely stunning. I loved it. Thank you so much for sharing such a wide variety of clearly defined ideas. Thank you. I I would just give you a hug if I could.
When embossing vellum if you add a piece of card in at the same time ,it stops the cracking of the vellum and you also get the paper embossed as well . Than’ you for all the great ideas Natalie x
great ideas, easy to do, attractive to recipient - what's not to like? thanks for taking the time to share & for the quick yet detailed demos & explanations!
What an amazing video, thank you so much for all the time and effort you have put into creating the video. There were a number of ways that I had either forgotten or not done, I'm going to have to watch the video again and maybe take notes. Thank you again.
Thanks, Natalie! So many wonderful ideas. I have not tried the acetate, laminate nor the use of inks. Your two green leaf sheets blew me away, they are gorgeous. Last year I took all of my folders and embossed them on white cardstock which I keep on a ring. It allows me to easily see what I have and has been a great inspiration. Thank you for all of your time and expertise that you share as it is greatly appreciated. x
You do a fantastic job of explaining techniques and I love the cards that you make. Hoping others get on board quickly. I’m so glad I found and subscribed to this channel.❤
Oh my goodness, this is such a great video explaining embossing and different techniques. I wish there had been something like this when I first started card making! Thank you!❤
I haven’t read through all the comments, but [on the double-embossing example] I thought about hitting the dotted line embossing with a pale color ink or chalk before doing the second embossing to keep it more visible - and maybe making your recipient wonder at your mysterious talents! Liked and subscribed!! Thank you for sharing!
I think it helps more if we comment and not just like. This helps more people to see this tutorial on the Facebook algorithm. I am always learning. Thanks Natalie for all you create
I love all the techniques, but I absolutely LOVE what you did with the butterfly stamped onto the folder before running the folder through. This is just gorgeous! I am going to scour my folders and stamps to see if I can recreate that look. Thank you for all your wonderfully instructional videos. I always come away with a new idea!
Fabulous ideas, thank you. With the technique pressing the embossing folder into the pool of molten embossing powder, try inking the embossing folder with clear embossing ink to help it release more easily.
I am amazed at how many different ideas you come up with in each video. I’ve been making cards for over 30 years, and you are constantly teaching me new ideas. Thank you!
I've not stamped onto an EF so that's one to definitely try as the effect was so beautiful with the butterfly. Will look forward to seeing your finished cards in a future videos x
Over the years, I’ve had so many embossing folders find their way into my box, but you’ve got a few that I’d love to have…but of course, we use what we have, and I’m more than satisfied. I have included several of your 13 techniques in my cards, but am happy to try more! Thank you, Natalie! 🇨🇦
I was going to say, I would like to see the cards made with these! The stamping on the folder (butterfly) was new. It's hard to surprise me, I've been making cards since 1997! TFS and please keep doing your videos, love them!
I have been using embossing folders and stamping for many years, but you really have added quite a few new techniques for me. Thank you for making this.
Hello, this was very helpful. I have tons of embossing folders, some never used. This wonderfully done tutorial will keep me busy for a long time. Tysm
I’ve been making cards for over twenty years and thought i’d seen every way to use embossing folders, but this was the most comprehensive list i’ve seen, with some techniques i’ve not seen before, really interesting, thankyou 😊
Natalie, This was perfect!! You showed several that I had not seen before!! This was so very helpful!! I love embossing folders!! I am looking forward to the videos about embossing folders!!
Thank you, Natalie, I have been hoarding embossing folders for quite some time. Some of these techniques are familiar while others are new to me. Will have to give them a try. There was a technique I saw a long time ago where wax paper (parchment with a wax coating on both sides, here in the U.S.) is embossed. Then placed on cardstock and ironed, releasing the wax to the card. It creates a resist on the card which can be inked. Just another idea.
Just discovered your channel today. I have been making cards for years but after watching just two of your videos (this and the beginners pigment powder one) have learnt so much more already!
