Jennifer, you are simply amazing! Your thoughtful tips & tricks (here and each of your tutorials) are very helpful. You have taken my (and thousands of others’) card-making skills to a dramatically higher level, and provide endless inspiration. Thank you so much. You’re the best.
I appreciate your talent so much! Such beautiful inspiration! God bless you, he sure blessed us with you. So touching to hear your son Colin there. My son passed at age 24 from brain cancer. Miss him so much! Love to hear you w yours😀
You do such an amazing cards. I love the colors and your techniques are unique. The longer your video the more you share with us. The more inspiration we get, Jennifer. I appreciate YOU.😍🤩
OMG Jennifer OMG & WOW How Breathtaking and Stunningly Gorgeous are your Cards!!! Gosh It was So Much Fun Watching your Creative process and Jennifer you never cease to amaze with the abundance of Brilliant and Ingenious ideas you have and it's so cool that your son Colin really takes a BIG interest in your hobby/business and he does have the eye. He's a very talented guy too I bet between you and your hubby.....of course he is as is your daughter...Gosh what a Family!! Thanks for always gifting us an Outstandingly Detailted Tutorial and Sharingyour Tremendously Terrific Tips, Tricks & Techniques!! YOU SO ROCK!! a big HEY to Colin HE ROCKS TOO!! Joan Smith
Jennifer, I never ever have thought that your video tutorials were too long, for I completely enjoy seeing every example with your completed cards. I love your ideas and I appreciate so much all of your suggestions plus it’s joy to see how you work creatively. Thank you for making crafting so much easier and more fulfilling. I will always be grateful to you for showing me how to stitch patterns on cardstock from your first video I think in August, 2018 using the Paper Smooches stitching rectangle die. I was even able to later find that wonderful stitching bag through my local Christian bookstore, I absolutely LOVE IT! Their wholesaler had one bag left with several of the matching pouches and I bought them all and I love using them at home and when I am on the go. I have been stopped by people who notice the Bible verse on the front and are delighted to see it and it’s the beginning of often a lovely conversation! I am using the newer Spellbinders stitching plates but I really want to learn to create more intricate geometric patterns using for instance the Altenew Pegboard die and I have a smaller die with a cut edge in a rectangle, perhaps MFT? I have bought a couple of Stitchable Cards patterns from Waffle Flower, but I am really hankering to see a video tutorial from you on HOW TO CREATE geometric patterns using these die’s including some back-stitching details. I have seen your absolutely gorgeous patterns you create and you mentioned bringing out some downloadable patterns, and that would be one way for me to learn. I’m just a crafter who loves to stitch for relaxation and to help distract myself from very severe chronic pain from a disabling car accident. I started stitching on paper purely to make cards for my Mom, who is a master stitcher and I could tell that she wasn’t so keen on other cards I made for her until I presented her with a boxed set of 44 hand-stitched cards in A2 and A7 sizes and she was THRILLED!!! I enjoyed coming up with colour combinations (I am improving but could be better), but I can’t create these geometric patterns I see you creating. My brain needs some help! I am making these for myself and my loved ones, I have barely the ability to do this. I am hoping that you will provide some help to know how to build these designs with a video tutorial and perhaps some downloadable or another way to purchase your designs. I am not trying to take your designs, I just need some help to know how to create them. I was a full-time university professor until I had to leave due to my health. I’m so very grateful for this hobby to be able to create as I was a classical musician teaching and performing, which I can no longer do. Card-making gives my brain the joy of creating in a completely different way but very enjoyable and it means a lot to be able to give my mother something in her world, stitching, that she has praised and loves, something for us to discuss, which I appreciate! She has asked for another set of stitched cards and I would love to be able to create even a few geometric patterns, as I am happiest creating those. I apologize for the much too long note with more details than I intended. Hoping that this can be possible sometime it works best for you, with my gratitude. Have a very blessed and relaxed day, mine are more relaxed with much thanks to you for bringing stitching on cards into my life. With gratitude, Joanne L
I love these cards. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, experimentation and super talents with us. SO Beautiful. Your son had a wonderful idea by keeping it simple. I love CZ and her simple cards, too. Thanks again for all the inspiration!!!
What a spectacular video. Extremely helpful for me with tips on centering because I fail at that. As always a smart video with beautiful creations. Thank you.
Thank you so much for another inspiring video! The template tip will be very, very useful and I’m thrilled that you included ideas and alternatives for those of us who don’t have/use layering stencils. You’re a true professional. xx
Hi Jennifer, I love all your cards, tips, and techniques. Thank you for keeping your son's voice in the video, I do the same thing with my hubby when I'm creating a card.
This made me smile, so much! It reminds me of the conversations with my daughter. I’ve raised her alone, after her father decided he wasn’t ready after i was pregnant. It’s been the two amigos, for 25 years! Whenever I want another opinion, it is hers I trust above all others! Because I know it will always be an honest one, and she is also sometimes the one who stops me from over doing a piece of work (in my case a painting), she definitely is my less is more filter lol… I’ve only recently started making my own cards, so I’m uncertain of much of how I’m doing something (you the learning curve lol) of late, so I’m asking her opinion much more of late, 😀
Every time I watch one of your videos. I am inspired to dig into my supplies and create! (And order some of the new products you share!) Thank you for sharing your amazing ideas.
I love embossing folders, they are relatively cheap (or used to be 😂) and imo, timeless. Thanks for all of the tips and tricks of getting more out of our tools. Altenew rocks!
Today was going to be the day when I was not buying anything more … then I watched your video … Cathy Z’s … then SSS. Oh well so much to that … another day.
I’m always amazed that you have older children as you look about 25 yourself lol. Love your template ideas which I can imagine is extremely helpful for batch card making. Thanks for the embossing folder tips. TFS
You’re making me want to unpack my stuff!!! I am going to be moving to a rental while our dream retirement home is being built! I want to craft so much! I love all of these cards and techniques 😍😍😍
Thanks so much for always giving us tips and tricks. I will be making some templates for sure on how to find the centre on cards. Beautiful cards for sure using embossing folders and stencils. I will have to go through my stash to find embossing folders that I could use this technique on. So many great snowflake embossing folders - what love if you could do some techniques with these. Thanks so much.
Such clever way to align the circle die at the center! I have struggling with that. Thanks so much for the tips and tricks! And wow what beautiful cards you've created!
Please don’t feel the need to apologize for the length of your videos. Your attention to detail is appreciated and is never tedious so they never seem like they’re long. When you begin a video with "This one is longer than my usual videos." My response is always, "Yay!" More examples is always a good thing! I wouldn’t even consider attempting such beautiful cards by anyone else!
Jennifer...I just think you're a genius. I love all of your tips and tricks. But today I am most excited about your template idea...I am always of center... this is just what I needed. Thanks for sharing your genius with us!
Wow wow wow! Just what I needed this morning. Such beautiful cards! Loved hearing from Colin too 😁. Thanks for such an inspirational video. You are truly a wonderful teacher. Happy Saturday. 💗
Great card, tips, techniques -- always learn something new or a great reminder. How precious to have your son on audio! At 28 minute mark, maybe card needs a little modification? (two "yous")? The layering stencils are very interesting! Always a great presentation, Jennifer.
Oh my goodness you packed in so many tips and tricks - thank you! 👏🏻❤️👏🏻❤️👏🏻❤️👏🏻 I've just discovered the oohs and ahhhs of embossing folders (and coordinating stencils) so really appreciate this video for creative ways to use them. I never would have thought of the distress inks like that - brilliant!
These are some super great tips! I'm looking at all my embossing folders with a completely new lens now and I can't wait to implement some of these techniques! Thank you Jennifer!
ALWAYS learning from you! Such beautiful backgrounds. I also appreciate you encouraging us to use what we have and think outside the box! Keep em coming Jennifer!
You are always amazing… I really adore your wonderful work. I have started following you recently. I am getting to learn so many techniques with inks, embossing folders and stamping. I am really grateful to you for guiding us in so many different ways. Every time I see your video I get inspired and try to do the same with whatever stash I have. Thanks once again for your amazing videos and tips and tricks 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Jennifer, you are a genius! Thanks for sharing, I have learned so much from you. Next time invite your son to be on screen, his voice sounds so mature. Maybe you could get him to do a card with you.
👀 I love that template idea! I’m too much of a perfectionist to not measure & end up measuring multiple times as I don’t trust myself so this would save loads of time. Thank you 😊
Fun cards and great ideas! I like the idea of debossing the flowers to stamp on the background. As for leaving the gems off of the simple card? My first thought: okay but are you going to use glitter? Haha Thanks for the chapters!!!
Wanted to also mention I always ask for my 22 year old son’s opinion. My 25 year old doesn’t even look and says “great mum” - so at least one is a good critique and offers suggestions.
Oh my so many ideas!!! I have to ask do you ever sleep? Lol how do you come up with so many amazing ideas? I loved how you added your son, he sounds much older:) just to let you know I would watch your videos if they were three hours long as I love seeing your creativity:) tfs stay safe and God Bless:)
😆 tell Collin to get used to it- my son goes through the “give me your crafty prowess” every time he approaches my table… he’s almost 25 now and … like your son, he has stopped me from over embellishing so many projects 😆
Amazing cards. Thank you ! Love the color cubes as well , I am so glad they came up with this option . Would you suggest the volume 1 or 2? I would like to get one first and then pick the next if I use it enough.
Thank you so very much for sharing Colin in your video. I think it made your video all the more special.
Glad you enjoyed it
Jennifer, your engineering background really shows in this video :) Thank you for the great tips.

Ooohhhh, these are simply gorgeous! I especially love the first one.

You can't go wrong with either choice
Jennifer, you can find the middle of any rectangle by running diagonal lines from each diagonal corner. I'm surprised more crafters don't know this.
I've done that too and you are right - that's an easy way to do it
Wonderful ideas ! :)
