Wow 🤩 I can’t wait to get my magical powders in the mail to try these!!! Your passion for this industry is amazing! Every single video you do you share your gift so effortlessly! And with each video I fall more in love with card making and all the wonderful things there are to learn! Thank you so much for the joy you shared with us today it has really brighten my day to see these cards and your joy of sharing them with us 💞
OMG Jennifer, these are just amazing! Your fingers are pretty, too! The different ideas for embossing folders really stretches our folders. I love the ideas you give us to make more uses out of our supplies. Thanks!!!
Embossing folders are a favorite of mine...I love these ideas for more uses. Thank you for sharing all of your brilliant ideas. Your enthusiasm is contagious!
These cards are just beautiful. You teach us so many amazing techniques and many different ways of using our products, I am very grateful for all the time you put into these videos because this means I have the chance to be a much better card maker. Thank you.
Love that you always show us how to make the most of what we have and that you suggest other things do that we can check our supplies and use that possible alternate. Love everything you showed us.
Saw this and only 1/3 thru I had to play. I used Ken Oliver Color Bursts, because that is what I had, added some perfect pearls to get the shine. Brushed on both using the dry technique, ran thru my Cuttlebug, then sprayed with water. Lovely! Though I couldn't see much powder left, I ran another piece of watercolor paper thru, sprayed, and almost as bright as the first! Ended up doing 4 pieces with only one color application! They are still wet, or I would post. Only thought to do this because my first experiment, when I washed the folder, released so much color!
Jennifer the beautiful greenish piece that ended up looking mystical and so magical after you ran your brayer over it with white. I can see fish or sea life floating around or in a jungle with beautiful fairies or creatures moving in the mist. I mean it is so beautiful and unworldly and like no other place I've ever seen that I fell in love and I'm going to try for this inky fun folder to see what mystery I can create just by letting myself go and play in a real sense since I'm old now and can't do so many things anymore. I saw a mystical world where all creatures were free........great job. I really love it when you play and let go of your structured environment. Go for it and get inky.......pat
Jennifer…I am always awestruck by whatever you demonstrate! Needless to say, your videos always make me order the products. Can’t wait to get my package from Simon Says Stamp!
I enjoyed this video. You were right, at first I was kind of frowning at some of your backgrounds, thinking I would never use THAT one. By the end of the video, you made all the backgrounds work. I’m always interested in more ways to use my embossing folders, thank you.
Gina’s folders are so beautiful! And you’ve made such beautiful cards with them and the magical powders!❤️ I so appreciate your talents and your videos 🥰
Great technique. I’m more anxious than ever waiting for my order with the Lindy powders, to arrive. Love the simplicity of the finished cards. They truly are beautiful and unique.
What a wonderful collection of backgrounds and cards, Jennifer! I'll definitely be having a play with my pixie powders and watercolours. Thanks for sharing 👍 🦋
I LOVE THESE!! I need to get out my new Magicals I just received in mail. These are fantastic ways to use them. I'd never have thought of using embossing folders this way! Perfect. Thx for video. Austin,TX USA
Because of the first Lindy's video last time, I bought a LOT of powders from a number of different dealers. Only Simon has a large supply. I can't wait to see this. I have not tried my Lindy's Magic Powders yet. I am finishing up some other stuff so I can devote myself to just Lindy's.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful technique, and also for using older products to complete your cards. I feel like I don’t use my embossing folders enough, so this will definitely get me to pull them out and use them.❤️
I love how these cards turned out! Thank you for packing so many options in addition to the Lindy's magical powders. I can't wait to try them and also use the mediums I have. So inspiring!
So much fun to see you use the Magicals! I have most of those sets plus the starburst shimmer sprays....such terrific products! So excited to know I also have some of the Gina K products you used here....gorgeous! As always....TYFS!! ❤️🦋💜
I appreciate how all your ideas, despite the technique involved seem new and fresh - you are continuously reimagining card making and remaining relevant in an ever-changing world. You are my absolute favorite influencer (enabler) and as I said recently in a SHK post, I’m so glad you don’t sell jewelry or cars - my budget can barely keep up with all the goodness you so masterfully share. You are many o’stamp companies super power. You rise by lifting others which you seem to do with ease - I’m grateful for you!
This was so great to "re-watch". I have LOTS of embossing folders, and the use of these powders really step up the look I can get from my embossing folders! To me, it almost gives an alcohol ink look. I have been using a brayer to apply ink to the raised areas of my embossed paper. Works great. Also, I've never seen embossed holographic paper, which I love! Thanks for all the inspiration.
I watch so many of your videos and am blown away all the time. I am forever running to amazon and other sites to get supplies. I was SO excited about the powders and went to amazon and clicked on a few of them and saw “purchased on …” Apparently you’ve suggested these before. I went into my craft drawers and found like 4 kits of these powders. I can not WAIT to try this out!!
Jennifer McGuire getting messy?!?!?! I love these and so glad you got all messy and doing a technique that you just have to let go and see what you get. TFS!!👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks. Very Nice. Another way to use mica powders and embossing folders. Easy to make layout with any focal point on top of a white tag. Thanks for all of your detailed attention and many variations you’ve researched. Thanks for the clear explanations. Jennifer Y
Gorgeous - I've got lots of both embossing folders and magicals. Time to get crafting! I think I am also going to see what happens if instead of rollering with white ink, I use a rub-on paste product (like Tim's Foundry Waxes)!
These colorful embossed backgrounds are the star of the cards you made. They are art originals. The texture and shine from the powders are lovely. I love that you had so many surprise results from just adding water. I'm quite excited to give this a try! Thank you as always Jennifer, for spending so much time putting these tutorials together for us to learn and enjoy. All the extra tips you add in are also appreciated; white ink w/brayer, how to make a die longer, and to use supplies we have. My daughter & I plan on having an afternoon together crafting. I can't wait for her to see this technique!🌷🌷
Love this idea! I have been using my embossing folders more and more lately. I am always looking for different ways to use them. Great video. Thank you for continuing to come up with so many great ideas.
Great ideas to get a wider range of creativity with our embossing folders. I love the arty look of colors spread out like you have shown. Thanks Jennifer you’re amazing creative brain did it again!!!
I have made some inked backgrounds just playing with the colors not knowing what I was going to do with them. Now I will emboss some. Maybe add some other color to them too. Thanks for sharing enjoyed this video. Beautiful colors.
wow Jennifer this is absolutely amazing I haven’t been able to source the powders here in Australia so will check your link thanks so much for sharing your incredible talent with us all cheers Jackie from Oz 😄
This is me again. I just put in an order from Amazon. Between the time I added the Lindy's Magical Powders to my cart and the time I checked out - maybe two minutes - the charges went up. Apparently, one of the vendors decided to charge shipping. Hesitation costs money. It looks like Jennifer has created a nation-wide (world-wide) run on Lindy's Magical Powders. I'm running, too.
Bravo, Jennifer! Thank you for kick-starting my mojo by reintroducing me to my old craft supplies!
I love the blue card with the Hello sweet friend. Darling!

Thank you, this finally helped me get started and make backgrounds. And after a very early dinner I'll make the very needed birthday cards.
Filled with inspiration. Makes sense to play and make a lot of backgrounds then sit down later to create many cards. Smart!
