And I did it myself after watching you a few times!!! Wet embossed card looked poor but when it dried, Oh My Goodness! You are a great teacher who inspires me. Thank you!
First, I love these techniques. Beautiful cards! Second, I used a technique from some time ago to make eight cards for our great-grandchildren. It is where you placed die cut letters on a sticky mat. You then picked up the letters, glued, and placed them on the card. It saved me so much time. Thank you for your tutorials!
Love this new colour! Unrelated to the gorgeous cards - would love it if you did a video or blog post sharing your equipment and your process (do you film daily, edit once a week, etc.)- camera, mic, editing software - your videos are always so great, and the sound is excellent! I think the last time was when you toured the new craft room, a few years back. Also, missing your favorite product videos, those were such a highlight! (But I am sure it was a very time consuming process…) thx for all the inspiration!
Jennifer, these cards are pure deliciousness! Goodness the new pigment is gorgeous on its own, but adding the textures and additional pigments to them, plus that pearl spray, creates yummy goodness. But the icing on those "cakes" is the way you've tilted and framed - completely brilliant! 😮😃😍♥️❣️👏🏻 Thank you for every video - I would never think to do these combinations like that! ♥️😘 I can't wait to get the use of my arm back so I can play too. ☺️
Love these simple but beautiful card designs! As always I learn something new from you every time! Thank you Jennifer for your heart for the card making community! Big hugs from Texas! 🤗🤗🤗
Jennifer watching you this time I had to let you know I was able to see the Shine on the "Lost Shadow," I wasn't sure I would like it until I saw you use it. I did watch Tim this morning too. I just like you better!! lol. Anyway watch your show all the time and I had to say something this time.
I love this technique. I have many inks but am so tempted to get ALL the Distress inks :) I love the angled card. That would have to be my favourite. Thanks so much for sharing Jennifer.
Thank you for all of your tips! I have heard the term *perfect pearls* before, but had never researched it. Such an array of beautiful examples in the different folders + cover plates! Amazing backgrounds, all of them, including finished greeting cards!!
I also love the results of the new Lost Shadow as you’ve demonstrated its uses today. It will be on its way to me, as soon as the wonderful folks at SSS can get it packed for all of us! I have a couple of the items you used in cards today so I’m feeling all ready to create. TFSharing, Jennifer, there’s still plenty of time for February birthday and Valentine cards! 🤍❤️💌
I love this technique. The shimmery pearlescent spray looks great on your cards. I really like all of them, but I think my favorite is the shaped card made with the frame dies. It's just different from what I normally use on my cards. Sometimes I really need to try something new. Thanks for sharing!!
I love these cards! So often I make backgrounds, fall in love with them and can't bear to cover them up. This design is a great way to use those gorgeous backgrounds without feeling like they are disappearing. Great idea for the PP! Mine are too neglected so I should make a spray bottle like yours and keep it handy. Thank you for the awesome video!
Wow, am blown away by each and every card you have beautifully made, and have ordered the ink pad! Can’t wait to have a go at some of the cards here! Thank you so much for your never ending talent ❤
Thanks, Jennifer, for another great video. I make a shimmer spray from the tsukineko “frost white” all-purpose ink mixed with alcohol in a small spray bottle. Had it for years….i think it gives a similar effect.
Thanks for another great video filled with lots of inspiration and beautiful cards. I also love this technique and it has been ages ago since I used it. So thank you for the reminder ❤
I love this new colour…lost shadow is a fabulous name. I can’t wait to play with mine once it arrives. Thank you Jennifer for your great samples..take care 😊
Beautiful Jennifer… love the technique and your color combinations… gorgeous… thanks for sharing your creativity and inspiration! Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
Another amazing video with tons of inspiration! I have to add that your floral shirt is gorgeous…..but it made me wonder which comfy pajama bottoms you paired it with! 🤣
I ordered the Lost Shadow bundle on release day and I’m really looking forward to playing with it 😂 Your example cards are ALL gorgeous and amazing 🤩 I just LOVE your channel, thank you for all you do ❤
Oh my goodness.... I just love your cards!! And yes, perfect pearl mist is always a great way to let anything shine and come to life. I love the look of the new Distress Lost Shadow color. Can't wait to get mine. Does it compare to Simon says stamps Fogg ink?
Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful techniques. If you want solid coverage on a card panel, why not use the distress ink spray? Just curious, I thought it might be simpler. I can't wait for my inks to arrive so I can start playing. I love that antique linen looks like a matte gold.
Love love love yoyr videos. It always helps me get out ig my funk when im struggling to create. Where do you get the ink pad trays? They are such a great idea.
Hi, Jennifer! I love watching your videos and learning new things from you! Quick question: what's the difference between a cover plate and an embossing folder? Thank you! 😊
Jennifer, once again you have inspired me with your beautiful ideas resulting in beautiful cards! I am really curious how those cards with the butterflies will hold up in the mail. Do you use a box type envelop to mail something so fragile? I had a card get lost in the mail for quite a while, and by the time it reached the recipient the envelop had tattered just a bit where the embellishments were. I say that to say those butterflies with the wings slightly raised would seem to me to be even more fragile. I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on this so much! Thank you!
Hi Jennifer, I have already watched many of your videos, beautiful! But now I have a question. I saw videos where you used Nuvo shimmer powder and videos where you used perfect pearls. What exactly is the difference? I hope to hear from you and good luck with your wonderful work!
i have recently switched to press on nails. i am scared of the fumes from polish and the lights from gel stickers. these have been great for me! • Blue Velvet Nails --- ldli.co/e/gqnzmrx [ LNK ]
Hi Jennifer, thanks for playing around with the new color - I would never have combined this with the colors you used! I noticed you don't spray your paper before embossing, is that because you used watercolor paper which doesn't tend to breaking? Your "angled" look gave me an idea about what to do with my pretty frames which have the "wrong" aspect ratio for DIN card sizes - I bought them when I was starting out and have never used them because the result always looked off.
Thanks so much again for the ongoing inspiration! I love my "perfect pearl water"... It really does give the perfect amount of shimmer for a much lower price point.
I've seen you use long blade scissors but I don't see them in the supplies lists that I have seen. Could you tell us what scissors you use? These cards are beautiful as usual. When i grow up I want to be just like Jennifer!
@ 2:10 - is it just me or is this new Distress ink color looking like a very pale purple? Even hickory smoke appears as a muted purple. Very very strange. I’m watching this on my iPad Pro and the colors are supposed to be spot on. I’m just wondering if it looks like this for everybody. Thanks.
I watched the Live yesterday and Tim said when first stamped it almost looks like a very faint pink, but dries to the correct color. I'm not sure why you were seeing it look faint purple as his samples were already dry. You may have a strong blue light tint with your iPad Pro.
Gorgeous cards as always! Love Tim's new color 🩶 And unrelated to the cards - that nail color is soooo pretty!!!
And I did it myself after watching you a few times!!! Wet embossed card looked poor but when it dried, Oh My Goodness! You are a great teacher who inspires me. Thank you!
Great job!
Hi Jennifer
Gorgeous cards as always...love this neutral colour...it reminds me of our Aussie Ghost Gum trees...😍

The kind I have in the spray bought is Perfect Pearls color
Mind blown. Again. ❤

And yes, perfect pearl mist is always a great way to let anything shine and come to life.
I love the look of the new Distress Lost Shadow color. Can't wait to get mine.
Does it compare to Simon says stamps Fogg ink?
Fog is a bit warmer
@@jennifermcguireink Thank you so much for answering. 🌼

Beautiful colors..love your techniques you shown. What brand of glue in the little bottle you used?
Gina K Connect Glue
Jennifer, what if you took the perfect pearls in the colors that match the inks and just use them over the flowers only? That would look pretty too.
Another great video and I love the tip about perfect pearls. Is the powder you used the white one? Thanks.
It's the Perfect Pearl color (I know it's confusing since that is also the brand name)
Wow!! These cards are amazing
Love love love yoyr videos. It always helps me get out ig my funk when im struggling to create.
Where do you get the ink pad trays? They are such a great idea.
inkstandshop.com. Great products. Highly Recommend
Hi, Jennifer! I love watching your videos and learning new things from you! Quick question: what's the difference between a cover plate and an embossing folder? Thank you! 😊
Embossing folders create raised areas. Cover plate general create patterns through dots/lines on the plate. The end result is flat
Wow such an awesome idea. I will definitely give it a try.
Hermosos y completos.

With the pearlized water do you use distilled or just regular tap water? Beautiful cards
Regular tap water is fine

What color of perfect pearls are you using? Would be nice that if you didn’t mention the color the link would go only to that color. Love the videos.
The color is called Perfect Pearl (and so is the brand). Confusing...
Will these cards work with oxide inks instead of the regular inks?
