    Your trick of storing each colors blending sponge in the base of the ink pad is genius. What a great idea.

    I really appreciated your video because you showed us something no one else has shown: that you can store the pad under the ink so you can reuse it another day. All the other RUclipsrs show using a fresh pad each time which is a very expensive way to go about it. Thank you for your honesty.

    Thank you so much! My church members have asked me to create something to put letters of gratitude to our pastor who has worked tirelessly to keep our congregation together through technology during this time of isolation. I have decided to make a journal that will have not only the letters but also funny FB memes, newspaper headlines and serious reflections. I have a new Dylusions journal but had struggled at what I should do for the cover and also the background color on the pages. Your ideas will work like a charm! THANK YOU SO MUCH! New subscriber

    Thank you SO much for the tip of using Versamark with distress ink for stamping! I've not seen or heard that before, and I've lately been pricing dye inks for stamping, and egads it's expensive to get a decent set, yet I have quite a lot of the distress inks already. You've saved me a ton of money for the time being! :)

    This was so awesome. Especially the versa mark. I have a versamark ink pad and have been disappointed for a while at how the distress inks stamp blotchy. I’m going to try your method and see if it helps!
    Also, keeping the foams under the mini ink pads! Mind blown. 🤯

    Great ideas thanks for the share a small tip for you I personally do not use the flat ranger tool for blending flat colours on a background I use one that is dome shaped by Nuvo but I think ranger have the domes also now so you can just purcahse some of those for your handle its much easier to not get a large blob on your background if you use that shape of tool. Also Tim Holtz says with backgrounds when using the pick up technique if you dont like it let it dry and redip it.

      you do have to keep adding more ink to build it up. But if you have had your pads for a while and used up all the ink, then you may need a refill. If the ink simply dried up and isnt getting onto your dabbers, then you may need to refresh the ink pad. if you dont know how to refresh the ink pad, google how to refresh my ink pad. basically you go buy a refresher and add it to your ink, I have never had to do it yet, but i know people who have had to.

    thank you for your detailed video... so informative... The price of 4 mini ink pads is more expensive than just one standard distress ink pad. Am I correct in thinking that the standard pads (3x3") hold as much ink as 9 mini ink pads? (1x1") It seems so much more economical to purchases one large pad..

    • @udderlycrafty6927
      @udderlycrafty6927  5 лет назад +1

      A mini ink pad is about 1/3 of the size of the regular pad. You are able to purchase more colors for your money by getting the min ink pads. Plus, they last a really long time and are easier to store.
