Absolutely beautiful! I love this and love embossing folders. The black contrast highlights the dimensions. Thanks RUclips for putting this in my feed.
Thank you for showing me I don't need to be so careful with my ink pads I barely tap them and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting any inks. This is amazing. You have a new subscriber.
Gorgeous cards and great technique using the dark grey ink and brayer. Much easier than colouring the background with a black marker. Thanks for your video. 🇨🇦
I love your card and your box of sentiments! Do you have a video on making sentiments? Are these die cut or done on a Cricut? I’m new to card making and I like the idea of keeping a box of already made sentiments!
Thank you! I don't have a video sorry but they are just stamps and die cuts . Sometimes when I don't really know what I want to do, I just stamp sentiments or die cut them and pop them aside in these boxes for later. Enjoy your new hobby! xx
Wow! That technique was really cool. Thank you for sharing how to do this. I love it! But I wonder if you could give some advice about the white cardstock you used to blend the Oxide Inks. Does the type of white cardstock make a difference in the final outcome of this technique?
Thanks Pamela. I use Francheville white cardstock in my craft room for just about everything. Its a 300gsm weight. When blending your ink you will get good results if your ink blending brush is loaded with colour :)
Lóve this idea, so much better than coloring the entire background, i used gouash for the background instead of coloring with a marker, that was ok too, but this is sooo fast, thx so much 4 the inspiration!!
Hello Brenda. I have a Couture Creations Go Power and Emboss machine. It is an electric machine. If you are in Canada I would say have a look at the Spellbinders machine :)

Gorgeous cards and great technique using the dark grey ink and brayer. Much easier than colouring the background with a black marker. Thanks for your video. 🇨🇦
thanks Carol. I think sometimes the black marker is a little heavy but great to have options :)
Thank you for this tip.

Love the softer grey for the background. I prefer it to the black that I saw in someone else's video the other day. Beautiful card!😍

Love the card. Great idea of pre made sentiments. Can you tell me where the Best Wishes sentiment is from? Loved it. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Thank you! The Best Wishes sentiment is a Pinkfresh Studios hot foil plate. Glad you enjoyed the video
This card is beautiful! I can't wait to try this. The Hugs sentiment, do you happen to know what brand it is?
thanks Nathalie. It is an older one by Couture Creations. Some scrapbooking stores may still have it depending on where you are.:)
i watched this video too ty :)
Would love if the card base was the peacock feathers!.. (I will just have to try that!)…
Beautiful embossing idea!🎉
would love to see your take with the peacock feathers Kathy!
Really pretty! What black did you use for the oxide inks please?
thankyou! I used an Altenew inkpad in charcoal. You could definately try the oxide inks tho!
😊❤

its a great lilttle technique! thank you
Please, a bit confused here… The project with the darker black background, what did you use to produce the darker background?
I used a charcoal grey ink pad. One that is water based so it will wash off
What kind of embossing machine do you use? I am very new and don’t know which kind to get. Thank you from northern Canada. ❤️🇨🇦
Hello Brenda. I have a Couture Creations Go Power and Emboss machine. It is an electric machine. If you are in Canada I would say have a look at the Spellbinders machine :)
Lovely card, the soft look is so pretty. Did the dye ink wash right off? I thought dye ink was the kind that stained.
thank you. Because it is a 3d embossing folder it doesnt completely cover the design. The ink on the folder just washed off under running water
Nice thanks
a list of the product used and links to find them???
Are you using a 3D embossing folder?
I can't get it to work, I am doing the same thing mine comes out horrible!! 6pm
No matter what I do to my volume controls, your voice is mottled!

I love your cards. It would be better if you speed up the video when inking tho. We dont need to see "real time" inking.😁
Beautiful!
