As I said in group a beautiful project sadly I won’t have time to do BUT I am already thinking to do it as a valentines gift with 25 reasons I love you and little love notes etc inside so thank you x
You really made a nice box and to figure all that out pretty amazing! Thank you for sharing.
Wow!!!
Ann, you have a lot of patience.
Talent without patience does not work.
Ann, you undertake your projects with such creativity, love and patience.
Thanks so much for sharing.
That is so true!! You no i get said to me often that i have so much patience and they would of tossed it out the window etc. That annoys me a little as in my opinion you NEED patience to be a successful papercrafter. Thank you so much and i am so happy that you see it the same way xx
This is brilliant something to do with the grandchildren.❤
Your paper pad collections are absolutely gorgeous , making your projects look super pretty . You make the most wonderful projects.
Hi Anna, I'm Cheril from Toronto, Canada. I must tell you that you have made such a difference in how I do paper crafting. I've been home for a while and I started some crafting as part of my daily activities and your tutorials has helped greatly to take my hobby to the next level. Thank you for being so patient and explanative. The tips are very helpful.
Thank you so much Cheril. Merry Christmas ❤️

Knowing your channel is a whole other craft level .. 🥇
*QUESTION* Ok so i have had a couple of questions about why the boxes are different sizes. Here is my thinking.... The inside area for the boxes is 10 x 10 so that would be 5 boxes a row of 2 x 2", obviously you need to allow for space so if you made them @ 1 7/8" square or 1 3/4" square, all those 1/8" or 1/4" difference is going to add up as we need 5 boxes. Therefore you may end up with a decent sized gap at the end of every column and row. I didn't want that so thats why i made a few different sizes and it made them all fit the space perfect. Hope that makes sense.
I think I found this in time to make some for my 4 grands & 1 great grand for this year. How special!
Wonderful!
Wow that's amazing. Great idea. I will have to make it for next year as I have 5 grand children and if I make for 1 of them I'll have to make for all of them.Guess I'm gonna be busy with Christmas makes next year. Thanks for sharing xx

Hi Ann, thankyou for an amazing advent calender project. I have been looking for one suitable to make for some friends and this is by far the best of them. Looks so easy to do with a stunning finish. Love the way the boxes are not all the same size, very quirky. This is definitely my favourite. xx
This is gorgeous
Love this! I have already made my 6 Advent Book Calendars for my family this year, but I will probably make this style for next year! I love it! But you have solved an even bigger problem for me, and that is "what to do with all the beautiful sheets in a paper pad that are so beautiful that need to be framed?" Like the beautiful sayings, or big wreaths, etc that you don't cut up. I just framed a beautiful saying with your 12x 12 shadow box tutorial and it looks wonderful! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Yes the shadow box idea is fantastic!! I have some more ideas with it to :-) 🤩❤
I have to tell you. This project is AMAZING. BEAUTIFUL and so clever. Wow. I just love it. I want to make one just to give it a go🤣😂. I actually love making those box frames BUT never saw how to make a giant one.
All I can say is WOW. THANKS SO MUCH. I subscribed 😊
Sophie is very lucky... your creation is a labour of love, absolutely wonderful and rightly you should be proud. You can use this over and over again if packed right x

Wow this is stunning Sophie is a very lucky girl to have a mum like you to make her a special and unique Advent calendar, tfs Jax xx
Wow, Ann. When you said there would be something special on Thursday, you really meant it. This is gorgeous. I have made an Advent calendar every year for my daughter and she is 25 now. I didn't make a new one this year and not sure I can finish this before Sunday but worth a try. I was just going to reuse the one from last year. This is stunningly beautiful and really easy to do. These two shadow box frames have been an eye opener because you can literally make them any size and adapt it to any project. I am thankful for your sharing these projects with us and since it is Thanksgiving here in the USA I want to say I am thankful for all you do and your willingness to share. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Absolutely fantastic advent calendar 😍 I love it & your fabulous ideas ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity xx

This is so lovely Anne. I think I just about have time to make one for my two grandsons. As the boxes are a generous size I can fill each one with two of everything so that they share it. I will alternate the boxes with their initial to determine who opens the box each day. Thank you for sharing such a brilliant tutorial x

Your very welcome xx
Just love this project Ann! I love to see you making boxes! 🤗
Gorgeous project, Ann!
This brought back some memories, I’ve got/had a plastic tree shaped thing with a clear lid, that had all little boxes in. I got it for my son when he was about 3, so that was 34 years ago! I don’t think we will have it anymore as I bought one of the cloth ones. I think the plastic become brittle so Paul probably threw it away. I would never attempted to make something like it. I love your version, I’ve not seen one like it apparat from my bashed plastic tree lol. When I can use my hands I’m going to make this for my grandson and granddaughter Zakk and Aimee they are teenagers but your never too old for one are you? Xxx
I had that tree shaped advent calendar when I was a child too! This reminded me of that also.
My mum kept it for about 5 years and refilled it each year.
Maria Husk I did the same I filled it every year. The one we had had little boxes and it was also a puzzle. We then got one in Hong Kong which is a material one tree shaped with little pockets. What year’ish did you get yours?
@@craftylittlerthings I would say mid to late 80's as my younger sister had one also and she was born 84.
Maria Husk My son was born in 1982, so that fits perfect xxx
Wow Ann outdone yourself again love this as my husband is allergic to chocolate so can fill with Lego or other bits live it x
Thank you Gemma, its a great idea xx
Love watching you as you work😍
Thank you :-)
Super, you are coming up with the best stuff.😉
Thank you Linda xx
I love your advent calendars!! Can you do a hanging one this year, pleeeeeeeeease...lol...I can’t decide how many of them to make! ALL OF THEM!
Thank you so much 😊 yes of course I will. I have some fab ideas for Christmas projects 😍
A brilliant idea you had with this project. Now I am sad that my little girls are far from me. It is so well done and beautiful. It is a jigsaw to place the together. You could stick an easel at the back to dhave the box in an upright position too.
It reminds me of a huge wooden puzzle. Thank you so much xx
Hi Ann this is absolutely gorgeous, love it TFS.
